	The rain was picking up again and lighting danced across the sky as the male raced to find their father. Would he be where Yhe and her girls where or wandering around? SO many places he could be and he was uncertain of where to look first. He just knew that he was scared for his mother and wasn't sure now if he should have left her alone where she was. Not that she could go anywhere. But he wouldn't have been able to get her up on his own, while it wasn't that steep it was steep enough that he wouldn't be able to do it alone. "BASTION, I NEED YOU." Since calling out Dad might confuse anyone within earshot to think one of their children might be calling. This way he'd at least hope to catch his father's attention in a quicker manner.

	Bast'ion had been laying on top of the family dens with his tummy exposed watching the lightening pass over. He stared unblinking and didn't fidget when the rain soflty stroked his face. He didn't care right now because his heart was hurting and it felt like nothing he'd known before. That was until he heard shouting which had the Kirin lion shift on yo his side. Raksha had been calling for him and it sounded urgent but Bastiin was slow to fully get up and jump down to his sons level. "You're in a frenzy. " His remark was pretty indifferent. He had yet to hear the reason for why Raksha needed him.

	Could he get this thoughts straight to tell him what happened. "It's Rana-" he was out of breath at this point and lookes at his father with pleading eyes. Would she survive this? Would her cubs survive? He was suddenly angry with his father. It was his fault somehow, the black male was convinced he was somehow at fault for what happend to the female that had raised him. The fact he had gotten up so casually too, it made his fur bristle and you could see the rage building up in his facial expression. "This is all your fault!" He wanted to shove him but refrained from doing so. "Why aren't you the one making sure she was taken care of! She's stuck on a ledge because you weren't around! Because i wasn't around!" He was getting frustrated now.

	The Kirin lions eyes lite up at the name. Rana. He knew she was pregnant and cubs were to be born soon but the way his son was approaching him made him worry that something happened. Then the outburst and the shove and Bastion let out a low growl. "If you're Keen on making things right we can argue later. Take me to her now!" The way Raksha was acting told him things weren't okay which meant the cubs weren't okay too. He may not have been willing to spare them a life of thralldom but he sure as hell wasn't about to let them get hurt. They were his flesh and blood and Rana was his family too. "What are you standing there for!? Take me."

	It was true they needed to get their rear in gear. "Follow me." Turning he lead the way for his father towards the female that meant the world to him. Rana was fully awake at this point and she laid there, cautious to not move a whole lot as she was aware of her precarious situation. How long had raksha been gone? The minutes seemed like hours for her and she prayed to the gods they got here in time. She was afraid the ledge would give out beneath her in the rain. Raksha got to the spot and motioned. "She's down there. Rana, are you okay? We are here."

	Bast'ion had his pace match his sons as the two padded along. His eyes were ever searching for the bright purple leopon. He wasn't sure exactly what had happened or where Rana would be found as Raksha hadn't filled him in. He only knew it must be bad and this was confirmed with finding her on a very dangerous ledge. Bast'ion took a few steps back. " We have to be careful. That ledge will fall if we both go down" he cursed under his breath trying to figure out a plan. Plans were more Zerrins thing and not his. He wasn't the lion to call for this type of thing and this made the lion feel small. "Rana. We need you to stay still" his voice was calm but inwardly he was panicking.

	Not moving wouldn't be an issue for her, she just wanted to drift into sleep which was a bad idea because it was likely she had a concussion. "Don't worry, I won't be going anywhere. " the words were forced from her lips and she hoped they'd hurry or these cubs would likely come here on this ledge and no one wanted that. "How will we get down to her?" He wasn't sure what to do as he looked to his father for the answers. "Do we need someone else that's smaller? Lighter perhaps?" One of the girls maybe, they were young but strong and not very heavy yet. But would they want to help?

	Bast'ion shut his eyes at involving some one else and putting more in danger and shook his head. His eyes opened once again and darted about for something. Anything. "We may have to let the ledge give out." He chewed on the thought. "we'll need to have one of us retrieve her and the other on top. The one on top can help the other bring Rana to saftey but it means that one of us will fall with the ledge. " He grumbled at this idea despite it being his own. "I can go down and lift her. You'll need to be up here to pull her up.." This was a dangerous idea but it was the best bast'ion could come up with for now. He'd likely get pretty hurt in the process or worse but these were his cubs and he'd do this for any of his kin. It wasn't Ranas fault nor the cubs fault that this was happening. This was all his fault.

	Raksha could put aside the fact he was pissed at his dad for now, though he was also at fault. He had left her alone. It was killing him inside, they didn't deserve the love she had to give. "I'm lighter than you, just let me go down there, besides, you're stronger and will be able to pull her up better." Plus if anything were to happen after all this bastion needed to be around and able to do something. Especially if that lion came back. Whoever he was. Rana knew they'd figure something out, or at least that was her hope. She would be able to assist in some menial manner but she was overall in pretty rough shape. Blood was caked to her neck and face from the bite and claw marks and she was afraid she had a broken rib or two. But she would be able to help them get her up if need be. "I'm going down and that's that." He said pushing his father aside to make his way down the steep embankment.

	Bastion had tried to stop Raksha but the deed was done and his son had pushed his way to near certain doom. There was no time to complain or shout at his son as his sacrifice would be a waste if they didn't save Rana. Time was sensitive now. Bastion readied him self and out reached his ice covered front paws ready to lift when Raksha was ready. He could already see the ledge giving way now that Raksha was adding weight. "Hurry! There's no time"

	Half expecting his father to stop him he was almost shocked he didn't but went down the steep slope anyway. He had, afterall, said he was going to do it, so here he was. Moving down towards the ledge he approached Rana carefully. The mud was slick and he was finding it hard to get good traction from where he was but made due anyway. "I'm sorry." He said as he moved down and grabbed her scruff to help position her better. Hoisting her across his shoulders he rose up. "Okay Rana, now it's on you." She winced and let out a small yowl in pain as Raksha lifted her upon his shoulders and she knew for sure she had some broken ribs in that moment. Still she could worry about that later. With his body beneath her she was able to position herself in a way to reach up towards Bastion's open paws.

	Bastion was half over the ledge at the ready to lift Rana from the dangerous ledge. The ledge was showing signs it was giving away fast so there was no time to spare. He reached with his maw to gently pull at the back of her neck as if Rana was a cub while also positioning his paws under her in a semi hug. He pulled hard to get her on to safety with himself but as for his son he could not say if he'd be fine. Already there were sounds of crumbling. He scrambled to his feet as quick as he could after Rana was up. "Rahska!"

	Using her legs she did her best to help the males get her and her unborn Cubs up and over the ledge to safety. Now raksha was the one in danger. The ground shifted beneath his weight and looking around he saw some roots sticking out not far away and he lunged for them and grabbed on with his front paws but it was super steep so he was unable to get good traction on the wet ground as he hung on. Well this was just great. Even if he had good footing leaping up would be difficult. Now what did he do? Up on the ledge rana let out a small gasp in pain and did her best to get positioned in a way she could see better.
