	"Hey. Hoped you'd show up." Loulah hopped from the suspended driver's seat of a state-of-the-art agricultural scuttle-plow and onto the ground below. She clicked a few needlier-looking tools back into her forearm (her left, which was a basic looking prosthetic arm with multiple compartments for tools: a portable toolbox) and extended it to shake Garand's hand. With her other arm (her right, currently hooked via a long tube to an air compressor and boasting a socket where her hand should be) she gestured to the vehicle. "Was just about to open this one up. Stalled in the field last week and then went into overdrive, nearly running down a few beefgrubs." Loulah bit the inside of her lip and dragged an oil-stained hand across her jaw. Just talking that much as an introduction seemed to make her restless. She tipped her head to the side, gesturing for Garand to follow, and started to turn back towards the machine. "Ready to help or what?"

	"Wouldn't miss it," Garand said with a nod, reaching out to shake Loulah's hand. As Pan hopped on his shoulder, chattering out his own bright greeting to the adult, Garand took the moment to appreciate Loulah's arms. It never failed to amaze him just how much use could be gotten out of the prosthetics, all the endless possibilities to adapt to situations. He glanced over to the scuttle-plow as she motioned, considering. "Stalled, then went into overdrive?" He reached up to rub his chin, considering offhand if he knew what might cause a problem like that. He'd never actually dealt with scuttle-plows before, where would he have in the desert, but he'd spent enough time working on generators and the like. Engines were engines. He blinked, realizing Loulah had spoken again, and let out a little huff of a laugh at himself. "Of course. Let's take a look." He followed her over to the vehicle, glad he was already wearing his gloves as he helped open it up. "Was it having any trouble before it acted up the last time?" Sypon

	"Great." She gave a gesture of greeting to Pan, and then crossed around to an open panel at the front of the scuttle-plow. "This was the steadiest of all of the machines, unfortunately. Too early for it to be kicking the proverbial you-know-what, anyway." She furrowed her brow and gestured into the gaping opening. Alternian technology was always an enigma, with organic looking technology embedded with wires and other such solid material. Loulah reached in and grasped a chunk of the mass to haul it aside. "See?"

	Garand winced sympathetically at the reveal that this was supposed to have been the better of the machines. He could only imagine how disheartening that must have been to see. Maybe they ought to take a look at the others once they figured out what had gone wrong with this one, make sure it wasn't something effecting them all. He frowned thoughtfully as he leaned over to squint into the opening. "Yeah...That doesn't look right at all." He reached in himself, taking advantage of the clearer view she'd afforded them. 	"Looks like someone on the Settlement's got sticky fingers and thinks they can fix s**t, to me," Loulah shrugged and sighed. "If not, I can't imagine how so much of this tech could be busted and in the wrong spot at the same time." She kept a strong rip with her arm while pulling an impressive multi-tool out of it with the other. A swiss army knife within a knife. Loulah handed one to Garand. "If you agree that we're gonna have to rebuild this from the ground up, go ahead and start whackin' at it. Holler if you need another tool." KitsuneAura Oops!
