.xx¤ Personality: First and foremost, I am a pacifist and I always have been. Even on missions and during huge battles, I have never killed anyone nor caused much harm (ok, one time a guy strained a muscle when I was pinning him down and yes I still feel guilty about it). All lives matter, from the smallest to the greatest, no matter one’s allegiance or past, and it is my calling to heal them all. I have noticed some people get angry when I apply triage in a situation, feeling that I should triage my allies before enemies, but triage is triage and I will not be moved. Just as integral to my spirit is the fact that I am a family man. I have three daughters whom I love more than anyone else in the world and I will probably be that annoying dad who still checks in on them every other day even when they are adults and have children of their own (but it is far too early to consider such thoughts). My daughters are my life, and I can't imagine life without them. As for the rest of my personality, I would say that I am kind and gentle, open to new things yet surprisingly stubborn, and I suppose I have a tendency to take on everyone's burdens but never asking for help with my own. I'm trying to stop doing that last part, but it is difficult. It feels like I am letting people down and making things harder for them. Someday I'll get the hang of it.

【P e c u l i a r i t y 】
Healing Magic: I have a certain amount of magic which can only be used for healing. Minor to moderate injuries require little effort and can be healed with little magic. Severe to critical ones require a lot more magic and will often leave a lesser version of the wound/ailment on me. Criticals become moderate on me whilst severe become minor issues on me. The magic recharges with time. This is what I originally thought I had and what most everyone except for my family still believes I have.
Life Transferal: Using my own life force (which some have compared to chi) I can revitalize damaged cells. Contact is necessary though it does not have to be with the injury itself so long as it is the right person. When contact is made, my life ebbs from me and repairs/revitalizes damaged cells in another person. The levels are the same as with the healing magic: minor to moderate just need a little life and they are good to go, but severe and critical require life and that I take on a lesser version of the wound myself (I guess it is a safety measure so I don’t use up too much life at once). Yes, by using my life force I am shortening my own lifespan and deteriorating my own health. This transferal goes both ways, so yes I could take it from others, but that is not something I would ever do. Charlene has been helping me find ambient chi which I can take in without harming others, so I am slowly on the mend.

xxxxxxxxx█ Tigran is a quiet and peaceable man. He avoids conflict whenever possible, but is always on hand to help out and heal anyone, no matter what their allegiances may be. He believes in preserving life at all costs, and will let no one bend his morals in that regard. Thus he can be a very loyal ally, so long as you don't go overboard and try to kill anyone. Who would have guessed that this calm and strength covers a deep sorrow?
xxxxxxPECULIARITYx﹗x
xxxxxxxxx█ Healing Magic / Life Transferal: He has a certain amount of magic that he can use only to heal. Minor to moderate injuries are a cinch and require nothing but a little magic. Severe to life threatening injuries cause him a little pain, but not bad, and of course magic. He can regain magic with time. Using his own life force (think time left to live) he can revitalize damaged cells. Contact is required, at which point the life flows in to the target and heals them. Light to moderate wounds require only this type of aid. Severe to life threatening wounds are more complex and require that he transfer the wounds as well. In this situation, the tiny deaths of the target's injured cells are absorbed into him, while his life force is syphoned into the target. His life force combines with the incoming cells to mitigate some of the damage, effectively knocking it back into light to moderate wounds. The only way for him to regain life force is to take it from others. As he is a generally good person, the only time this happens is when he finds a creature who is technically dead, but not all of the cells have died (thus he does not gain much back, probably only a few seconds, but any bit helps.)

xxxxxxHISTORYx﹗x
xxxxxxxxx█ Tigran started his hero career very early, when he was only 14. His parents didn't approve of the decision, but he was insistent upon the matter and would sneak out even when they told him not to. It was hard keeping up with his studies and working at the same time, but he managed not to fail or get himself killed. He picked up some hand to hand combat skills to make up for the fact that his peculiarity didn't have a suitable offensive capability. He went into semi-retirement about six months ago. While in high school he met the love of his life: Cassandra. She planned on becoming a hero when she grew up, and they would make an epic team. They dated until she went off to college, only because they didn't think such a long distance relationship would work (especially not in those days). He kept up his hero work, feeling college wouldn't really help him out when all he did was use a limited form of magic. At the time he, like everyone else, believed that his power was just some form of life/healing magic, none of them had any idea what it really cost him. Upon her return home, they were able to pick up about where they left off both in terms of the partnership and their romantic relationship. About a year after she returned, she proposed to him, and they were married not long after. A little over a year later their first child was born, a daughter named Anahit. While Cassandra was recovering, Tigran teamed up with other heroes, basically whatever he could find that fit his moral compass and would pay well enough for him to support his family. It often meant he went into very dangerous situations, which pleased no one, but it was what he had to do. Cassandra returned six months later, but things were different: now Tigran was popular among other heroes, whereas Cassandra was still sort of an outsider. Still they always held the stipulation that if one of them was to be assigned to a team or hired, the other one had to come along as well. While they were out, little Ana was given to her paternal grandmother to take care of (her mother's parents had since moved out of state). Despite their best efforts, it always seemed like he was in greater demand than she. The matter was not helped at all when six years later, she had to go on maternity leave once more. This time it was twin girls: Calliope and Thalia. Now in her early thirties and trying to raise three children, she realized maybe she did not have a place as a hero in the annals of history. Much to her and her family's dismay, she left the hero scene and took up employment elsewhere. Even though she did this of her own volition, it was a blow from which she never recovered. Once more he was thrown into the thick of things, being assigned to team after team, anyone who could use a competent pro-healer. While it meant that villains were being captured and the pros were coming back less harmed, it kept him away from his family more than he and Cassandra liked. He would get called out at all hours of the day and night, and when he was actually home, often he was completely exhausted and/or trying to recover from an injury he had taken on himself. He was only in his mid-thirties, it didn't make sense for him to be so tired and so slow to recover. Likely he would have ignored it, but Cassandra kept arguing the point until he finally gave in and went to a doctor. The doctor did not state at the time what he believed was occurring until he had sent Tigran along to a peculiarity specialist. After almost a year of tests, the two personnel were able to determine that his peculiarity had been misidentified all of those years ago, and what he really had was some sort of life or time transferal. Basically, with every person he healed using his abilities, the closer to death he pushed himself. He was 37 at the time, so his career had been gradually shortening his own life for twenty-three years now. He didn't tell the girls about it: they were only 12 and 5 at the time, but he confessed to Cassandra practically as soon as he could. He dropped off the radar for about three weeks while trying to decide what to do. Cassandra wanted him to drop hero work all together so that he could spend more of his remaining life with his family; he couldn't argue with that logic, yet there was still a debate going on in his mind. Part of his mind couldn't just sit by while others risked their lives, didn't the other heroes' families deserve to have their loved ones return safely? His respite might have continued longer except that a news story caught his attention: a novice hero was killed while trying to save a child from a burning building, the child died as well. Knowing that two people had died while he was at home doing nothing filled him with a potent self-loathing, but rather than let it eat at him, it was fuel that drove him to work harder than he ever had before. Cassandra was furious at him, yet a small part of her heart knew that if he had not returned, he would not have been the man she fell in love with way back then. She tried to bear the stress and sorrow as best as she could, but eventually it became too much for her. After seventeen years of marriage, Cassandra filed for divorce. They were still living together, to make things easier on the kids, but he had been moved to the basement while everyone else stayed where they had been. Despite the divorce, his feelings for her, his absolute adoration and devotion to her never changed. About seven months ago, she was driving out to meet with her lawyer when a car sped through the intersection, slamming straight into the driver's side of her car at almost fifty miles per hour. She died within minutes of impact. His world completely fell apart when he got the phone call from the police, and who knows if he would have persevered if it were not for his daughters. Anahit was almost 17 and the twins had only recently turned 10, all three of them still needed a parent. So no matter how much he hurt, he had to be a solid foundation for them. To that effect, he knew he could no longer be a full time pro-hero, not with his declining health and now having three kids to take care of on his own. He couldn't entirely retire either though, so he became something of a reservist: available if needed, but not the first one to be called in. He picked up the gig at LeVane Academy to supplement his income. True it might tax his powers some, but there were others there with healing peculiarities, plus he wasn't the main nurse. It wouldn't be too much stress on his abilities, right?
xxxxxxAPPEARANCEx﹗x
xxxxxxxxx█ No tattoos. He has scars from particularly serious cases he healed, including: a scar across his right arm just under his shoulder from where he reattached a severed limb, a three inch scar just under his ribs on the left from where he healed someone who had been impaled on a wide steel rod, and a seven inch scar down the center of his chest from a case he would rather not talk about. He's actually a pretty sharp dresser, though he goes for more timeless classic than current or avant grade. Only when at home does that peel away and he switches to more comfortable attire (he has a lot of knit shirts and sweater), but it is still fairly immaculate and tasteful. (Examples will be added later as well as hero attire.)
