Biography tab • • 》 Ever since he could remember, his mother was the only person at his side. Jesus grew up as an only child to a single mother by the name of Margot. She was a half Latino and half French woman who worked every day to provide food, education and shelter for her son. Jesus loved her dearly and spending time with her were the best moments of his life. His mother was a teacher at their local school so she always gave him extra lessons so that he could be well educated. Not only did she educate him on different subjects, but she also taught him how to do different chores. Since she was a single parent, she did everything in her home including fixing any damages to her home, planting her own crops, and keeping her home in order. In turn this caused Jesus to become interested in a field of subjects to try and help his mother the best way he could. Even at a young age he understood how much his mother loved him and how hard she worked. He tried his best to help her, but he was young and limited on what he could do, he just didn't have the strength of an adult. His mother liked to talk about his father from time to time and whenever she did it seemed like his mother would revert back to a young girl talking about her first love. Jesus was never sure how to feel about his father, if he was so great like his mother described him then why wasn't he living with them? His mother was at her happiest when she spoke about his father, but she would get sad after reminescing. Jesus didn't like to see his mother sad so he disliked his father for not being around and making his mother sad.
One day, the town was in an uproar over two mischievous Pokemon that were vandalizing the town. The two Pokemon in question were a Magby and an Elekid who were using their fire and electric moves to play some mean pranks on the townsfolk. Eventually the entire town went after them and this caused the baby Pokemon duo to take shelter in Jesus's house. When the townsfolk questioned Margot about the whereabouts of the mischivious Pokemon she denied seeing them eventually making the crowd leave. Margot scolded the two Baby Pokemon who were causing trouble, but they were a rude bunch and instead started to make a mess at her home. Margot didn't give them much time before she showed some discipline, putting them in time out for their actions. The Pokemon were confused, but somehow were not able to disobey her and instead started following her commands. Margot was a kind woman, but she was no pushover (being a teacher, she had to be tough) so slowly, but surely she taught the Baby Pokemon manners and how to behave themselves. Jesus and the Pokemon duo didn't get along, it seemed like they were always fighting for Margot's attention. Jesus always had her attention so he wasn't comfortable with sharing and the Pokemon had a love for Margot since she gave them a second change. Because the Pokemon were stronger they could easily overpower him so Jesus had to come up with clever ways to fight back such as traps or pranks. They had added two new members to their family and even though things were different, they were still peaceful and fun.
Their fun times ended several months later when a townsfolk recognized Magby and Elekid. The people gathered again and this time were coming to get revenge on the Pokemon who had damaged several of their homes. Margot stood in their way and protected the Pokemon, the townsfolk didn't want to hurt her but they were frustrated. Jesus stood in their way and ended up getting pushed by an angry townsfolk causing him to hit the floor. The shock of seeing a child get hurt was enough to wake the crowd from their anger. Jesus had to be taken to a hospital from his head hitting the floor. The incident left him with a small scar by his left eyebrown, but nothing major. Seeing Jesus stand up for them caused the Pokemon to have a new respect for the boy. They no longer fought, but instead became as close as friends. From that day on, Jesus would play with Magby and Elekid growing closer as a family. However, things were not meant to last for too long as a tragedy struck his family. Margot became sick.
A problem had appeared with Margot's lungs which was affecting her work and daily routines. She couldn't move as freely as she wanted and Jesus watched as her illness weakened her. He was only 10 years old, but he was afraid that he might not be able to live the rest of his life with his mother. It was around that time that they were visited by a very tall man who had the same last name as him. His arrival was sudden, but it seemed that his mother knew who he was. They talked for hours while he was told to play outside, once their meeting was over Margot revealed to Jesus that he was not an only child, he had two brothers that were from different mothers but the same father. To say he was shock was an understatement, he didn't know how to feel, but his concern for his mother's health far out-weighted any other he had. Apparently, the tall man was his half-brother, Antonio Reyes, and he had come seeking to recruit Jesus to a Pokemon Academy that he was planning on opening. Margot wanted to Jesus to go with him, she realized that because of her lungs she would not be able to properly care for her son. Jesus refused to leave her, how could he just abandon his mother? He went to confront his older brother, saying that if he wanted to take him then he needed to bring his mother with him. Antonio saw the resolve in his brother's eyes and instead offered a different deal. If Jesus joined Ordell Academy then he would make sure his mother got properly treated for her lungs. She would need to be taken to the Kalos region for treatment since her illness was rare and not something they could fix over night. Jesus didn't want to leave his mother, but this was the best option he could ask for so he clenched his fists as tight as he could and told his brother,
"you better promise that she'll be safe."Jesus had no choice, but to be separated from his mother for her treatment. Margot asked Magby and Elekid to accompany Jesus. She bid her sons farewell, but they all promised to see each other when time permitted.
