Electric—it's the only way properly describe the atmosphere at Elysium tonight. Even now, with the house lights up and the audience filing to the back of the auditorium following Seraph's show, something palpably alive continues to linger. It isn't the left behind beverage containers or quickly fading hum of conversation in the distance. It isn't the way the walls and floor continue to sparkle invitingly as the ushers shine their flashlights around for stragglers before exiting the room themselves.

Whatever it is, the eerie silence that falls over the hall once everyone is gone feels at odds with what should be the end to a wonderful evening. The stage itself is empty, but back beyond the curtains something is about to happen.
