Suddenly they were surrounded by most sides and by many domains. Krisis herself hadn't seen this many gathered since a small family reunion with her Father, Mother, and sister.. all before things fell apart. She cursed her Mother for that, but had understood at the same time. Ekundayo had been from their lives for so long now that she wasn't raw.
Family? Her composure nearly slipped at the thought of having found family, literally over the border to boot! Her coral eyes grew wide as saucers and she glimpsed at her daughter for a reaction. For Aur-iels part she remained unusually quiet.. it worried her mother briefly, but what didnt worry her these days. "Maua, Fido, flame god, and.. whatever it is you might be.." Her green gaze turned towards the muddy creature that splattered her pale pelt in a manner that stirred a look of disgust from not only her, but her mother. "It's a pleasure."
"I'm Krisis, this is my daughter, Aur-iel." Krisis took over after Aur started to become overwhelmed by the rising tally in gods to mortal ratio. She was a demi-god, but still very much out of place.
"Meeting family.. here of all places?" The goddess chuckled softly, much different from the raging mother she had been. "Where have you been hiding all my life?" Her brow furrowed slightly, Ekundayo hadn't ever mentioned family. Not brothers or sisters, not a grandparent. She grew frustrated, but knew it was likely a cause of what her Mother had done. Something she couldn't, no, wouldn't judge. "Who else do I not know about?" Her curiosity was peaked, and even Aur-iel leaned forward a small amount to listen closely.
"Does this mean.. I have a great grandma?" Aur was intrigued, and lost immediate interest in the rift. The world could have been falling apart around them and she would have been far more focused on this. "What is everyone like?"
The pair grew silent, both eager and full of questions, but not knowing where to start. Coming here had been an attempt at swaying Aur-iel to stay, Aur knew this, but she had come to please her mother.

Boom!
The great dark lion awoke with a start from a nightmare that seemed almost too real. Tras Bothair had taken to travelling between prides, causing mischief - purely by accident on occasion - while seeing the sights.
Those sights had taken him all the way back to the beautiful beaches of the Bahari'mtoto, almost. Tras found himself at the prides outskirts, still as beautiful, but he wasn't where he had wanted to be - yet. The dark lion rose from where he had been laying and pulled himself forward into a stretch to rival all stretches. A yawn accompanied the act that ended with a soft sighing growl. He was pleased with this 'morning' ritual, but his companions weren't. Both Njia, and Sneaki, had been curled up near him for the warmth and so they were woken when he moved. "I'm so sorry..." His tone dripped with typical sarcasm for the pair.
"You two stay here, I want to see what that was." Tras's voice returned to a deep, rich, and composed tone. It peaked towards curiosity at what had happened. As he had been waking up in those moments he realized that the 'boom' wasn't likely from his dream, but a result of something very real. The ground had a slight tremble to it, as though the gods themselves struck fear into the earth. Or perhaps... one particular god.
Something was afoot in the Haven. The god hadn't been back there in sometime, he didn't desire to mingle with the gods that stayed there. Boring. Was the word that came to mind. Mortals were much more fun, and easily twisted.
His snakes, together, gave him a snooty look while nodding. Neither of them were interested in participating in his little adventure. "Fine." He retorted, wrinkling his nose right back. His jealousy towards Sneaki knew no bounds, Njia was his, but he didn't dare get rid of the male snake.. his competition.. for fear of losing Njia to a broken heart. So he suffered with it.
"What have we here?"
Tras took to the air and nearly immediately identified the cause of the sound he had heard. The ground was split in two directly between the humble Bahari'mtoto, and their neighbors. He was as familiar with the jungle pride, but knew they existed by sheer word of mouth. Their roots were corrupt by something godly? He clearly hadn't paid that close of attention to the gossip. "Oh well." He mumbled to himself and half shrugged (as much as he could mid flight). Below him he spied a small gathering surrounding the rift between the prides.. and though he had no interest in gatherings, he did have an interest in whatever divine intervention caused the destruction.
He had an inkling it was much larger than them.
Not a fan of 'swooping' into a scene Tras opted to land a bit away likely not unnoticed by mortals and gods alike, before heading towards the crowd. For the moment he chose to remain a silent party.

Kiraka shuffled his paws anxiously, he hadn’t really meant to say what he said but he considered himself a guard, a protector though he was young he was born in to a family of guards. They hadn’t really been off the sands for generations and leaving felt, weird. Dae was from a completely different family, though his own great grandfather had been born in the pridelands he had lived in the Bahari since he was a very young adult.
“You.. You know what I mean, it’s, you know..bleh.” He huffed, the young blue male felt nothing but baffled at the females probing questions and statements of fact. He couldn’t just protect her, even though it felt like his duty to do so.
“You want to be an ambassador like your dad?” her words hit him like a tonne of bricks. The world outside, the place beyond the sand, even here at the border with the Kizingo’zaa it felt foreign, alien even. Dae was so different. He guessed that was why he liked her so much she was adventurous and care free while he had been called a worry wort by his mother and more than one of his older siblings.
“That might be fun, if that is what you want to do.” He mumbled shuffling a little closer to Dae just in case she decided to lean over in to the crevice again. “It might be fun to, you know, do that together.. The world is being.. weird.. You’ll need protection.” He swallowed hard, he could protect her, he was fairly certain, even with all the weird stuff happening.

Puzzle nodded slowly, starting to back away.
And then he stopped, eyes taking on a distant look as his pupils dialated. Anybody who had observed Soothsayer when she touched somebody injured would know what it was, or who had observed any of the regular seers. Puzzle, having never before experienced a vision, could only sit down hard on the ground, even when the ground rumbled and groaned around them.
He saw flashes - Little bits, here and there. Lions wandering, lions finding the sea. A white lioness with green marks under her eyes, a brown lion with a diamond on his forhead and waves all but dancing up his legs. Lions, many of them telling stories and singing, including a lioness, the white lioness, singing to sooth the pride. A lioness loomed over them, wings spreading out, eyes glowing-- A new lion, a familiar lion, coming in and the lions no longer singing and telling storeis as much.
He snapped back into the present, gasping, eyes wide and trembling all over. "What did he do to the pride..."
With a heavy rumble, the crack shifted ever further. Boneknapper glanced at the rift, then at the gods, including Datura floating out over the middle of it. She then started to back away, a wise observation from Starfire, when she noticed Puzzle stop. "Puzzle? Puzzle, what's wrong?" Her her whole life, she'd never managed to be there when a seer had a vision. She was scared, ready to grab her mate and drag him away, when he spoke. "What did... What did who do to the pride...?! I know you're about puzzles, but this isn't the time for that! Starfire, we need to drag him away from here!"
As the ground rumbled, Datura snapped out of his momentary misery and looked around. Shaking the mud from his flippers, he soon spied a very familiar form landing. "Tras! Tras!" He wiggled around, before using his flippers as a propellant. He still hadn't entirely figured out flying on his own power, but that didn't mean he didn't try any way he could. He'd have to take a bird form at some point to make this easier. "Tras, what's goin on? What's happening to the land and the sky?!" When he got close enough, he changed back to his god form, thankfully shedding the mud, and touched down next to his brother. "Did Da do somethin' to upset Ardhi-haia?"

The sudden voicing of her desire to become an Ambassador had Ali gasping quitely, though his attentions didn't drift from the gathering of gods that just didn't stop growing...
"Yeah, maybe that's what I want to be?" Dae grew guarded about her passions, even if she wasn't entirely sure, and even took a defensive pose. Her ears pinned back, head lowered, and she even felt the prickle of her pelt standing up slowly. Even if she decided to stay here... she wouldn't stay where she was told, not even for someone she was fond of. Her father had roamed the lands for a long time and even had begun to share stories!
What happened next neither father nor daughter could have predicted...
"Together?" Dae felt her pale eyes widen and could begin to hide the shock from her voice as she mouthed the word a second time. "But you don't like traveling?" She offered the question softly and took on a kinder demeanor. There was no way she could force him from his home, force him to travel with her. Why? To create her own stories, live a life like Dads.
Ali hung his head slightly, but was smiling. The pair reminded him so much of himself and Yai. Though opposites. He had made a similar speech to the lioness when they had first met... not exactly with those words. But he had wanted to travel, see the world, but she hadn't done what Kiraka had done.. nor would he have asked her too.
"You'd make a fine protector." Ali remarked warmly as he turned his attentions to the pair, his single golden eye fixed on the young male. He had been keen to drag the youth through whatever he could to make sure he was suited for his daughter, but now he wasn't sure he would have too. Kiraka was proving to be a young gentleman, inspite of what his daughter was like. It was a remarkable thing to see.
"Would you really do that Kiraka?" Dae felt uncertain about the whole idea suddenly. This was home afterall.

1. The ground at the edge of the rift crumbles. Be careful and don't fall in!
There had been a lot of strife between the bahari and the kizi lately and it had been quite upsetting for all parties involved. Many of the lions from the bahari and kizi were friends with one another and now with the current rules in place by the 'mad king'. Aza gave a heavy sigh, she had been a part of the bahari since she was young, but she was questioning plenty of what was happening within it's boarders. Still she would stay with her mother for as long as she could.
Looking over at Litanu she sat near the rift, though the ground around the edge began to crumble and she quickly back up a bit. "Be careful, don't want to fall in ya know." She said gazing down into the crevice.
The black and blue male gave a nod and looked over towards his sister who wasn't too far away. Ezili was peeking her head over and quickly jumped back, tail erect behind her and fur on end just a little as she looked over towards Aza and Litanu. "Yea, I wouldn't test that."
She had been growing quite curious over time and gave a bright grin towards her brother. "Do you think you'll stay?" He gave a shrug of his shoulders, "I have a mate and responsibilities, you however are free." It was true, she could go if she wanted, but she didn't really want to leave their family just yet.
Aza looked about at all the faces and spotted two familiar one's in the crowd. They were surrounded by a bunch she did not know and this was curious to her.
"I'm going to go talk to my mom and sister." She headed towards them cautiously.
"Hello Mother, Sister....." Gaze turned to look at the strange faces around her.

Starfire glanced over at the group of gods, all of whom seemed to pay no mind to the mortals gathered on either side. One god caught her attention among all of them, the one with the fiery wings that looked quite a bit like her own, even though she wasn't anything like him in coloration. Hm...
Her thoughts were interrupted by Puzzle's rather out of place statement and she turned to see Boneknapper looking quite upset. Unsure of what happened but realizing that Puzzle must have had a vision, she moved forward to get between him and the ever-widening crevasse.
"Come on, give him a push," she said to the other lioness, nudging the king back forcefully. "Puzzle, whatever you just saw, put it out of your mind for a moment. You are worrying your mate."
--
Cetus watched the various gods, amazed at the variety as even more joined them. It was like a god party! The ground gave another tremble and the crack continued it's path through the jungle, the waters still churning within it. He wondered if it would ever stop or if it would just...open. All the way to the other sea. That would be a sight to see! Perhaps once it made its way there the waters would calm and he could swim the length of it.
--
Shio fixed the more rebellious of the adolescents a hard stare, making sure she did move back despite her words. This wasn't a place for to play or to prove that she was brave. The fact that the gods were gathering to gawk as well was proof enough that this wasn't normal and they really shouldn't be here. Shui would be quite interested to hear about the new development, he was sure.
"You two should head back," he insisted to the youths. "We all should," he added, glancing at the others that were gathered along the edge of the crack. "This is clearly still forming and is a danger to all those present at the moment." He couldn't say he'd be upset if the Kizi's lands were put further from theirs if only to soothe his brother's mind, but the loss of Bahari life would fuel his rage further.

Ryujin wasn't one to argue with the adults, so he nodded, while Tarys just seemed to stare at the male. A small smirk was placed on her maw as the teenager seemed to challenge his statement.
"I like her idea," She commented, nodding towards Iru. "We haven't fallen in yet, and I don't think any of the Bahari members are stupid enough to do so." She hadn't been paying attention to see if anyone on either side had actually fallen. Right now though, Tarys was far enough away she thought she would be okay.
Ryujin gave the female a stare, shaking her head. "I'm...okay with heading back in," the darker adolescent said to Shio, avoiding Tarys' look of betrayal as he stepped closer towards the other male. "I think he is right and we should all go."

As the ground continued to rumble and shake and crack, the rift traveling miles away, the pink lioness pushed her mate away from it. "Come on, Puzzle, we need to get you away from this..." She gave the rift and then her mate a worried look. "It's messing with your head..."
He shook his head, eyes slightly wild. "I need to find... Find..." He looked around at everybody gathered. "Misae. I need to find Misae! She was there!" He planted his paws, still looking around. "Father messed everything up! That's why there's so much strife in the pride, we need to go back!"
"Back to.. What?" Boneknapper pushed again, trying to make him move. "We're home already, what would we go back to?"
"What the pride used to be! The muses! The stories, the songs! Properly!" He shifted, still looking around as he called, "Misae! Where are you? We need to talk!" Why hadn't he talked to her sooner? Had he been such a fool as to believe his father telling them the old royal family had vanished from the pride? If he looked, they were still everywhere.
Shaking himself out as if from rain and water, Datura rose to his full lion stature. "Just a... Form I like. I saw it on a page from some human thing while I was wandering around, and quite liked it, but I'd rather be part waterbuck than part cow..." He glanced at the gathering lions, then back to his brother. "Who could be throwin' a fit up there? And why?" He paused. "Do you think we should go see...?" Would they even be able to get close? He knew their father wouldn't go near the haven, though - There were places Xavier refused to touch because he hated the cold. Datura could understand why, his plants died in the cold. But there were also plants that managed just fine, so he wasn't ENTIRELY opposed.
Please stop rolling at this point... Not that there's much activity at this point ROFL. This will be (Finally) closing out in the next two weeks!

"Aza." Gentle eyes turned towards her daughter in the equally soft greeting. Her name was all that was spoken for a moment as Krisis considered introducing another of her children to the surrounding group of - family members. The hesitation didn't last long, they were separated by a rift - literally - what harm could come to getting to know the others.
"This is another of my daughters, Aza." She gazed from Aza too Aur-iel and smiled. Pride was evident in those glances before she turned her gaze towards her Aunt. "I've got quite an impressive brood within the Bahari'mtoto, but presently they may be with their father." She no longer batted an eye at the idea of who their father truly was, it was a thing of the past.
"Don't get to close to the rift, Aza." Krisis spoke sternly to her daughter, but instead of continu Aur-iel took up the conversation. "Mother was telling me it looked grisly down there. We wouldn't do well trying to escape it." She gave her sister a warm smile and ushered her over. "Though the rift seems to echo the separation of these prides it would seem that it brought our family closer together - or at least told us that more family exists. We have grandma, where ever she might be, but now we have more." She babbled away at the lioness without hesitation. Much different then the lioness that had been speaking with Ali.. much different than the way she had been holding back from her mother.
"Based on the reactions.. it appears that the rift is almost otherworldly." Her eyes lit up with excitement. This is just what she had been after. A new light in her life - the start of which had been seen with her trip to the dark pools. A trip she wouldn't soon forget, neither would pieces of her pelt.
