He gave a half smile to Lixes saying that it was still fun. Ujiri had to agree. It had been a little fun to be challenged in such a way. He'd have to ask about the other tribes out there just so he knew what to look for the next time he came across someone so.. colorful.

Looking back at Jerami he shook his head. "Ah, no. My twin sister did it once. She touched a bunch of stones and they glowed. When she threw them at me they stopped glowing." The boy shrugged. "Ika is weird though." At least, to him she was.

"Oh yeah. Alkidike and Leaf. My mother is full Alk and my mom is full Leaf." Ujiri chuckled. "My family is complicated. I have two older siblings that are pure then Ika and I are mixed." Though it did make things kinda fun.

Jerami gave a soft sight of relief before he said, "I'm glad to hear that. It's... tough, wanting to travel one path but having another choose you. I'm glad that it was your sister and not you that magic seemed to pick." He murmured, giving a smile before he asked, "Does your sister have someone picked out to help her learn?"

He had to admit that he was a little curious about who might train the boy's sister. Surely someone would figure it out though. He didn't know the girl so it wasn't as though he could ask too much about her and what she was planning on doing as far as training went. Especially when he wasn't exactly a super power magic wielder himself. He was still in training, still new to everything, so he couldn't do much more then offer to study together were he to meet her.

"Ah! As Lixes said, it's nice to meet you, Ujiri." As he mentioned his family being complicated Jerami couldn't help but to chuckle and said, "Lixes and I know how that goes." He didn't think that one could be born of a lotus and not have a really complicated family situation.

Lixes couldn't help but to laugh as he said, "Yeah, it's complicated but it can be fun as well to be from such a strange family." He said to Jerami and Ujiri both, "A shame that Drexl was busy or else you could have met him as well. He's one of my brothers and Jerami here is his princess." A comment that had Jerami flushing a bit from the look of him.

Giving a smile he said, "Well, we were going to be doing some rounds, to make sure that it was safe around the village. Do you want to come along with us, Ujiri? It's always fun to have someone new to chat with."

"I dunno. Not even sure if she's gonna continue with magic." It might have been a fluke. Maybe the stones just lit up because they were in the light for the first time in a while?

"Oh it's tons of fun. Until our big sister catches us doing something bad." He gave a grin and his antennae bounced as his eyebrows shot up. Ujiri loved getting into trouble. Though when Subira figured out what he was up to he was usually in trouble.

"Rounds huh? Sure. Not like I have anything else going on." He was more or less waiting for an Alkidike that wasn't related to him to come along.

"If she is then I suggest her finding a good teacher as those are always quite necessary. If not it might have just been a passing thing and she can still become anything she wishes." He couldn't really say one way or the other unless he was to see the girl do her glowing rock trick. It might not even be magic, it might have just been some sort of trick she'd played on her brother after all. Not something she'd put passed a sibling.

As Lixes mention rounds and bringing Ujiri on them for a bit before they all went back into the village he half wanted to suggest they head back straight away. Half because he wasn't sure about them escorting a prentice and half because he wanted to see if Drexl was ready to come out and hang out too. He decided it best to enjoy quicker rounds so they could just get back faster, that way they could get Ujiri to safety and back to find Drexl.

"We should do a shorter bit of guard duty this time. We don't want to drag a prentice around for too long, Lixes. Not when he doesn't have a weapon to defend himself yet.

Lixes gave a nod of his head, "Yeah, you could be right. Being a hero without a weapon is a pretty difficult thing." It was difficult and dangerous, your enemies could easily catch you off guard and have you at their mercy! Not something he wanted to think about when it came to their new friend.

Turning to look at Ujiri he said, "We'll make the rounds quick so we can return to town. You're sure to find more Alkidike there then you will just wandering the woods I think." They did live in Andile after all. He'd probably have an easier time finding one willing to take on a student within the boundaries of the village since those outside were likely to be busy with one thing or another.

He shrugged his shoulders slightly. "You don't have to make it short. I'm not really in a hurry and a stick works as a weapon." Ujiri wasn't against beating someone with a log if he had to.

"What made you two decide to do rounds anyways?" Were they told to do it by someone? If so then who did he have to talk to to get appointed? Or did they just do it on their own? If it was something they did on their own then he wouldn't mind going along and helping out from time to time. It would give him something to do.
