Carbine The Dusk Lycanroc

Carbine, a young Dusk Lycanroc, was in the backyard of her trainer's home. She was only out there since she didn't trust other pokemon, ever since she was a baby Rockruff. She was found by her trainer after she was attacked, and injured, by an Ursaring that was protecting her family. Carbine being that she was alone from the time she was young. She was lucky that her trainer found her when they did, as Carbine wouldn't have made it through the night if she hadn't received medical treatment. In fact, she still had a scar on her eye from the attack, but everything was blurry in it, and it required regular check ups at the pokemon center with nurse joy every few months. As she was looking inside, hoping to be let inside today, she whimpered a bit. All of his pokemon knew to stay away from her, but she actually did want friends. She just didn't know how to go about doing so in a proper way. She always got nervous and would growl, making her be put in the backyard for a little while. Carbine was starting to think her trainer cared for their other pokemon more than her. All she wanted was to be shown how to make a friend, but no matter what she did, she always ended up growling at someone, and being punished for it.

                                                        tab Name: Matilda Jaws
Bio: Born with an rather unpleasant face, she is feared by children and adults alike at first glance as they judged her as a bully or deliquent. Had soon given up explaining herself, she goes on her life, does what she wants and live indifferent to people's opinions. The young pokemon reminded her of her younger self, so she tried to help it become more trusting and happier.

Thinking that the time-out would be enough to let Carbine back in the house, Matilda walked out to get her before she was distracted by a customer's call. When she got back however, it seemed that Carbine looked even more on edge than before and she glanced at the Weavile at the window who was trying to act innocent. Sighing, she sat down before the Lycanroc, hovered her hand out, intending to pet her.

"You're always so nervous to new people or pokemons, which is understandable, I suppose. But I wonder if there is something for you relax just a little?" Matilda's brows knitted together, making her looking both worried and angry at the same time, despite her being completely calm and just thinking.

Carbine The Dusk Lycanroc

Carbine nuzzled Matilda's hand as it was extended to the rock type pokemon. She looked up at Matilda, ignoring the Weavile in the window. After she was allowed back into the house, Carbine went over to her spot by the couch before she started chewing on a bone treat from earlier. Carbine wasn't the one who started fights usually, but always got in trouble for them. Carbine had a crush on Shane, but knew he probably hated her since the first time they met, she wasn't very nice. She avoided contact with any of the pokemon for that reason, or at least tried to do so. That way, she could at least try to stay out of trouble.

Matilda sat on the nearby sofa, watching Carbine for a while before glancing at her other pokemons. Marcie was sending worried look towards the Lycanroc, Jackal looked neutral, Shane was cold as usual and Martia just did her own thing. Needless to say, the atmosphere of the team was rather down and she should try to do something about it.

"Let's go to the park to get some exercise. Bonding time." She suggested, hoping the thought of exercising will produce better enthusiasm.

Jackal jumped up at the suggestion and Marcie just nodded, receptive to it. She waited a bit longer for anyone to change their mind.

Carbine The Dusk Lycanroc

Carbine's ears perked as she heard Matilda say they were going to the park for some exercise and bonding time. Though she liked the idea of going to the park, she wasn't too keen on bonding with the other pokemon. Carbine's tail wagged a bit before she got up and went over to the door, waiting for the others patiently. Though she preferred to play by herself, she wasn't sure if the others would want to bond with her, especially Shane. She didn't know why she had a crush on him, but he was just so calm and down to earth. She truly hoped one day, they could be together, and maybe have a family of their own.

Once they left for the park, Carbine stayed close to Matilda walking next to her trainer protectively. She wasn't much for staying inside of her pokeball for very long either, much like a lot of pokemon that were abused, neglected, and/or abandoned like she was. Once they reached the park, Carbine, who always went over to a large field away from everyone else, did just as she always did. She went to practice by herself. She knew Accelerock, Iron Tail, Fire Fang, and Thunder Fang. She was strong, but knew that she could only get stronger.

It seemed that not many people come to the park today, so they really have a large open field to play, exercise or practice.

Well, let's start with a light stretching or a short walk together. was what she thought as she crowded everyone up. "Let's start with a short jog and then we'll have a compatibility test to see who works well with each other."

Lately it seemed that double battle was becoming quite popular, so she should start with that to prepare in advance. With that intend, she started jogging, suggesting that everyone do the same. With the exception of Marcie unable to run on ground well and ended swimming in the water, everyone (some begrudgingly) started following her lead.

Carbine The Dusk Lycanroc

Carbine managed to sneak off again when Matilda and the others weren't looking. She didn't want to practice with the others, and had the feeling they didn't want to practice with her. She went over to a larger field area, and began stretching her legs before she started practicing herself. She started by trying to crush a huge boulder with iron tail. Once she managed to crush it into tiny pieces, a loud boom sounded, sending tons of small bird pokemon into the air out of fear. Next to practiced her speed with Accelerock, running around the perimeter of the large field that she was in. She wasn't too far from Matilda, but was out of her sight path. Carbine had gotten a lot stronger since she first came to Matilda, and she was only getting stronger. Then she practiced her fire fang and thunder fang on two large boulders causing them to explode on contact.

In the middle of her training, Matilda noticed that Carbine had disappeared from sight. This was the usual when she tried to train everyone many times now, so maybe she should find another strategy for the Lycanroc to loosen up. Announcing the exercise ending, she told everyone else to go play, but keep themselves nearby, in groups and try not to wander off alone.

Walking around searching for Carbine, she noticed the sound of rock breaking nearby and came to investigate. Leaning on the tree, she watched the Lycanroc training, since Carbine looked quite focused and she wouldn't want to distract her. When she deemed that Carbine's training was enough, she spoke.

"It's free time now, so let's have a break, Carbine."

Carbine The Dusk Lycanroc

Carbine was panting a bit by the time Matilda stopped her from her training. Though she knew Matilda was right, Carbine needed a break. She nudged Matilda's hand a bit, giving it a small, loving lick as she always did when no one was around. She even followed Matilda back towards the others, but, once again, stayed close to Matilda rather than playing with the other pokemon. She then heard something off in the distance, thunder. Though she wasn't afraid of storms, well anymore, she did have faint memories of the day she met Matilda. It was raining that day, and Carbine was all alone, as well as Wet, cold and starving. She was so bad her ribs were showing. She was still young when Matilda found her. She used to try to go up to Shane and the others, but eventually gave up the day she evolved. Carbine didn't think she was better than any of them, she just wasn't sure if they trusted her or not. She was turning one year old in about a month, but wasn't sure if Matilda even knew her birthday. She'd come a long way since the day Matilda found her, but still had trouble trusting others and their pokemon. About the only other people she trusted, besides Matilda, were kids as long as they were not throwing things at her.

Matilda's eye softened at Carbine's show of affection and gave her a gentle pat on the head. When they got back to the others and preparing to returning home, the sound of thunder struck in the distance.

"Ah, it's about to rain." She commented as she unconsciously stepped closer to Carbine. The Lycanroc had stopped being afraid of thunder, but she always did that on reflex to provide comfort for Carbine, to show that she was near. "Let's hurry back, everyone."

Since they definitely had to run home, she put most of everyone back into the pokeballs, leaving Carbine to run with her. However, it seemed that they couldn't reach her house on time and ended up running for cover under a nearby shop.

"Ah, the rain's getting heavier." She commented and jumped as someone came out from the shop to welcome them in. It seemed she stopped at a pokemon cafe that had just been opened. Having nothing else better to do in this rain, she stepped in the cafe and was provided a menu.
