~My Name is Satsuki and I hunt the predators of the night.~

~Modern day people dismiss the very idea of the supernatural; demons, vampires, werewolves. Their reasoning simply being that there has never been physical proof that the creatures truly exist. We are the reason that they do not know. We are the Coven, a league of monster hunter demon slaying specialists. Satsuki is a Demon Hunter, one allowed to wield the holy arsenal in the war against the unholy. Each Hunter has a signature weapon, sometimes varying depending on the Hunter. Satsuki specializes in using shurikans, swords, and a crossbow to deal with the unsavory demons. Along with the holy signature engraved on their hand, each is given the choice of a hunting companion. Satsuki has chosen an unlikely partner in his endeavors, a demon hound that he is now summoning. This is the story of Satsuki and {Y/C}.~

|Tempest the Demon Hound|

Tempest, a semi-young demon hound, had just been summoned by her master. Like all companions, she would only obey her master, and came into this world in her true form. Though she would also have an earth form, since she had to blend in with society and all. As she opened her eyes when the spell ended, her Ruby red demon like eyes were amazing to behold. She was among some of the more powerful demon hounds of her kind, an Alpha in Demon hound terms. She went up to her master, able to detect him with the connection they now shared. Should her master die, she would go back to wens she came. In other words, anything that hurt him badly enough could sever their shared connections. Being the silent type, Tempest wasn't much for conversation due to all the masters she'd had being a lot of a lot. She didn't share a mutual trust with anyone anymore, which was something her master would sense through the connection. She just looked at him, her eyes seemingly soulless and a bit off. This was only because she was not sure what to think of this young man before her. Would he be able to handle her kind of powers over the flames of hell? Or would she, once again, be forced to protect someone she couldn't depend on?

Tempest the Zorua

~My Name is Satsuki and I hunt the predators of the night.~

~Satsuki calmly watched the demon hound as he regarded what was so dangerous about her, holding a tome opened in his hands that had the spell for her. He had been warned that she would decimate him if he showed the slightest hint of weakness which was something he never bothered to show. He regarded her for a few moments, keeping her in the circle as he decided what to do with her.~

"They say you are the most dangerous one of your kind, I respect that. I don't force you but rather ask you for your help in cleansing the unwanted Demons in my realm."

~He calmly spoke the nonchalantly but his voice was strong and powerful despite the casualness of it as he knew he held the power of the situation. He knew that if he forced her loyalty then it would only be a matter of time before she would turn on him so his plan was to gain her loyalty. The stronger the bond, the more likely there were to work together better.~

|Tempest the Demon Hound|

Tempest heard what Satsuki had to say, and nodded at his request sensing his will and self control. As well as the reliability he has when doing his job. "Very well. I shall grant you my powers." She said to him telepathically, as the connection completed by glowing around them, almost like their souls were connecting in a way. Once everything was settled, she followed him, walking next to her new master towards wherever he was staying. She stayed close, sensing many unwanted small demons nearby that were of no concern at the moment. She knew that he would most likely sense them as well. As they made their way towards where Satsuki was staying, she was quick about using her new form to fool the people around her, so as not to cause a panic. Only Satsuki would be able to see her in her true form, as well as other hunters, since the line between a companion and demon hound was more or less alike. Demon hounds, if chosen to be a companion, were just as loyal as regular ones but a demon hound's powers were stronger than that of a normal companion, so they were usually watched carefully. That way, if they turned on their master, they could easily find and send said demon hound back to hell.

Tempest the Zorua

~My Name is Satsuki and I hunt the predators of the night.~

~Satsuki smiled slightly as she agreed, feeling the connection solidify. As they walked out of the adandoned house that he had summoned he in, he used another spell with summoned a collar onto her.~

This collar is simply a safety measure in case anything happens to one or the other.

~Satsuki didnt want to bother her with the little details so he continued along the path until they came to a tall apartment complex. This building was used to house some of the greatest and most talented hunters in one safe, secure location. He led his new partner up the elevator to the top floor and towards his apartment, the scent of various monster hunting utensils, other hunters, and their partners could be smelled as they walked.~

|Tempest the Demon Hound|

Tempest didn't mind the collar very much, since she knew this world's customs. "I do not mind wearing it master. Even if I do not see the point of putting a collar on a demon hound." She said before she smelled the hunting utensils, hunters and their companions and grimaced a bit as she smelled it. "It seems some of these hunter utensils could use a cleaning. The rotting smell of old blood can have serious consequences on a demon hounds nose." She said informatively to herself, hoping Satsuki would hear. Not many hunters could summon a demon hound at his age. Then again, once a hunter as a companion, they are usually together for life. Once they made it inside of his apartment, Tempest lay down on the floor by the couch as she figured that he wouldn't want her to get too attached to something. Tempest didn't mind as she'd had masters in the past that were weak and were hurt by monsters quite easily in battle. She in turn would have to bail them out by killing the monster.
