Random Ramblings of a Somebody

First week working on my own has been pretty good; an to top it all off my first paycheck comes in on Friday! Only downside to the job is going to bed early...gotta get back into that habit again.

Been a few days since I last posted on here so here we go...firstly I feel like I'm doing good at my job but I still need to pace myself better in order to keep it, secondly I had a bad toothache that swelled half my face for a couple days till I found a way to bring down the swelling, and thirdly been feeling more emotional lately...been wanting to be married and have kids for so long but I know me and my boyfriend are not ready despite being together for almost five years.

Latest update! I decided to get my hair done after so many years of keeping my natural hair color and am now officially blond; secondly my boyfriend had a job interview few days ago and got the job! I'm so happy for him since now we can both enjoy evenings together and have stable incum. Anywho: school is coming up again for the kiddies so I see school supplies all over the place whenever I go shopping; so I decided to get myself a new backpack since the one I had was beginning to wear out and did not have a lot of space (I don't go to school but I use my backpack kinda like a more roomier purse). For my final thoughts on this random rambling update: summer is not over yet and already I'm seeing Halloween stuff...don't get me wrong I love Halloween (plan on dressing as Kiari from Kingdom Hearts or as a vault dweller from Fallout) but can stores wait at least until September?

Getting closer to one of my favorite holidays and have not quite figured out what to be this year...if anything I could rehash an old costume I guess?

I've already had my costume planned out for awhile. Just have to find a shirt to use for it and then it'll be all done. biggrin

So what ya gonna be?

Decided to just reuse an old steampunk costume with some new elements added this year; meaning a new hat with goggles, wrist cuffs and a petticoat to poof the skirt so its not so flat.

Been a little over a week but here goes; firstly my Halloween was great since I won best costume at my job and won a gift card in the process. Afterwords I ended up going home and handing out candy for an hour or two for the kiddies before my friend and boyfriend arrived; I then helped my friend get ready then went out with her trick-or-treating (I'm 25 but people said I looked younger). Now its my boyfriend's birthday in a few days but don't know what he really wants.

Super excited I'm finally getting the Spyro Reignited Trilogy today! I'm gonna play it when I get home! ^_^

Whelp tomorrow is turkey day and I'm gonna be going to my boyfriend's aunt's place for dinner. I ended up getting two apple pies yesterday from my job yesterday so that's what I'm gonna bring; until then I'm stuck at home in bed wearing fuzzy pink pajamas all day cause I don't wanna go anywhere today.

Christmas is coming up and my dad wanted me over this year but me and my boyfriend can't due to money issues. Instead I told him what we would like for Christmas since he asked.

Christmas day and it was actually great! Despite there being some hard times this year; there were good times to. I didn't get much this year but I don't really care and am grateful for what I got.
