We're faster in a group, right?

You may get 10 points per day from completing 300 words of RP (your words, not yours + theirs combined) with another troll or multiple trolls. Other than basing your roleplay on the current completion state of the site you choose (see solo spoiler above to see what completion state equals what activities), there is no prompt to follow for your roleplay.

Once you have reached 300 words, please use the form below. Note: If you start RP on one day, and then complete your 300 words on the next, that counts for the day you completed the roleplay only. You will not receive points for the previous day, and you must wait until the next day to submit a form for points.

Please use the form below to track your points. Form posts do not have to be on the same day as rp/points gained. Any points not submitted through forms will not count towards site completion/final rewards!

Another night putting things together. At least things seemed to be going by in a timely manner! Already at least two of the launch areas had been completed. It would only be a matter of time before the ships would be landing, wouldn't it? Then Knetic would get his opportunity to touch one and Mihail could stop worrying about possibly putting false hope into his mind. Eugh.

"Luh-looks like we're on, uh, we're- we're on electrical to-tonight." He turned from the schedule to look at Knetic, then shrugged. Thankfully they hadn't been given different tasks yet. He made his way through the crowd of volunteers toward the area they were supposed to be working on... only to find that it seemed a little over populated. Now this was dangerous. He frowned, looking around the group that seemed to be mostly aimless and not exactly working together and sighed. "This is a me-me-mess..." Mihail shot Knetic a look that indicated he was not impressed, then took in a breath to address the others. Since he and Knetic were the highest blood in the group, naturally they should be in charge. Right?

"Drop that, you-you're going to getgetget electrocuted. You," he pointed to a greenblood, "get those wires off the gr-ground before someone tri-trrr-trips." He didn't know when she'd gotten there but she was around now so she might as well help out. He turned to an orangeblood kid next, "we need tools if the-they aren't already here. Get the-them." Mihail's tone was not rude but it was certainly commanding. At least as best as it could be with his age and stammer. "Knetic let's look at the plans, the-then we'll cuh-come up with a good it-itinerary."

He pulled Knetic over to the table where some papers were stacked and began searching for the blueprints they were supposed to be using. He spread them out, then scanned over them. Seemed easy enough despite its complexity, they just had to cooperate long enough to get it put together in a timely manner.

To say he's getting antsy is a bit of an understatement. He was fully wrecked with ants. Just a wild curmudgeon of antsy pants. All he wanted was too touch a damn ship and it was still beyond his reach, which quite frankly, is bullshit.

Knetic sighs and tries to listen to Mihail, he really does but this is now beyond his enthusiasm. "Electrical is cool I guess?" He desperately tries to sound enthused. Stars know he tries. He bums his way through the crowds behind Mihail and just holds on to a bit of his tank top to make sure he doesn't lose him in the throng of young and slightly more inspired, or less, trolls their ages.

"Mess....is a bit of an underwhelming phrase, Mih." It was truly a wreck, the worst kind. A plethora of bad choices like sticking a fork in a plug socket. It couldn't be worse.

Or it could once Mihail decides it's time to take charge. Oh boy. Cause thats what a bunch of lower blood trolls want, right? Some strange purple blood spouting commands and he's barely older. Knetic is fully intrigued by how Mihail is planning on working this out. He won't say he isn't mildly proud of his friend, since being assertive isn't something he finds comes easy to him. "Are you.....sure bossing them around is a good idea, buddy?" He eyes the other two curiously.

The green doesn't really give him any strange vibes but the orange one sure feels friendly, even from here. Okay, baby steps then, support your friend Knetic. Be the best bro.

He flips through the pages and puts them down on the ground in order of importance, according to him. He'll let Mihail figure out just how important all of this truly is. After all, Knetic is all about space and sure lighting and electricity are space, but actual machine electricity may very well escape him.

Frendo was as chipper as ever, all beaming excitedness and barely reigned in energy. He was nearly vibrating as he milled around with the groups of semi-hapless trolls trying to work on the current site. A lot of them looked worried or confused, trying to figure out how to connect wires and the such without being zapped by an accidental charge. Frendo was also completely new to working with electrical, but he wasn't at all worried. A little zap from a generator charge never killed anyone. Or maybe it did, but either way, he wasn't afraid. The last thing he was worried about was getting hurt; he was more interested in finding where to start.

Thankfully that was answered for him as two purpleblooded kids came up to him and a greenblooded girl with glasses who had been standing near him as he tried to figure out his plan. The one purpleblood(without glasses) started barking orders, and while other trolls glanced over before quickly ignoring him, Frendo leaped at the chance to be of use. Especially to a highblood! He was an eager dambeast, bright and bushy tailed and on the job!

Another exciting search, but this time Frendo quickly found the tools they would need(or that he thought they would need), and came speeding back, still beaming that same silly smile, totally still ready to do more tasks.

"Any thin' else I can git for ya? I'm Frendo, by da way!" he eagerly piped up, offering his hand to the purpleblood, before realizing he should probably offer a handshake to the bespectacled purplblood as well. Ignore the fact that he looked completely ridiculous with his hands both out for shakes and greets. Though his eyes trailed back to the greenblood, who he smiled at. She seemed friendly, and he was eager to introduce himself to her to, but highbloods first, because that was the proper way to do things. Right?

"I'm not b-buh-bossing, I'm giving dir-direction." Mihail pouted a little as he looked over the blueprints, sparing Knetic a glance as he flipped the pages. "Suh-someone's gotta take charge. Or or, uh, or it'll all be messed up. Andandand someone could get hu-hurt that doesn't need to." He shrugged, finally finding the page that he wanted. Aha! This would tell them which wires connected together and where to put them. By this time, Frendo had returned with the tools and was offering his hands to shake.

Mihail blinked, a bit overwhelmed by the sheer energy radiating off of the kid for a moment, then reached out to shake one of his extended hands. "Mih-- uh, Mihail." He looked over the toolbox, then shook his head. "Nnn-nno, I think, this is uh, I think this is good. We, uh, we need- we need to uh..." He looked over at the wires the greenblood was supposed to be collecting.

"We-we need to get the blue- uh, blue ones attached here.. and and and the red ones over there." He pointed to his right, indicating the blue spot. And then to the left for the red. "They- uh, they have to meet, in the middle. Youyou guys take red, we--we'll take blue. Don't- don't touch the wires yet, we have to ge-get the holdings in place fir-fuhh-first. Got it?" Mihail looked back to Frendo again. He wasn't normally one to judge too much by appearances but.... something told him he'd have to keep an eye on Frendo. All that energy probably got distracting...

"Knetic, do you want to uh, to- to hold the things in place or use the drill?" He looked to Knetic, figuring if he gave his friend some sort of choice it might lighten his mood a little? Maybe? Anything to help. It really killed him to see Knetic so bummed out but short of sneaking their way to the space ladder and somehow managing to get onto a ship there really wasn't anything he could do.

Oh, hi, wow this kid is very friendly. Too friendly. And his name is what now? Frendo? Oh sweet grub sauce, this is just too good. Knetic grins slowly. "Your name is Frendo? Gee whiz does that sound like something familiar."

Knetic: sass master.

Still, he holds out his hand and takes that handshake. "Knetic Corbid at your service, here to dig holes and lift beams apparently. Though...I guess you are too, aren't ya?" Regardless of sass he was going to be friendly. Enough trolls are douche bags these nights, no need to add to the status quo.

Turning his attention back to Mihail once the pleasantries were exchanged, he eyes the red and blue spots before he quirks a brow right at Mihail. Don't touch the wires, he says. Knetic was going to touch those wires all over. He slowly reaches over to the wire bundle as Mihail continues to explain, making dead eye contact with both Frendo and Mihail as he indeed touches those wires. Score one for the sass master.

"Drill!" He bounces back, beaming at the idea of finally using and doing something interesting. Sharp Tooth rarely ever let him use power tools. Says he'll saw a finger off. To which he says bullshit. He can saw a plank of wood just fine as long as his glasses don't go missing or fall off.

"You know, if you get Frendo to hold the wires, we can finally solve the mystery of just how bright troll blood is for lower bloods." He waggles his eyebrows at Mihail, fully understanding it means slicing open a troll he doesn't know, but he doesn't mean anything drastic, just a small cut by a finger. A totally negligible injury if he's being one hundred percent honest. All it would take is a band-aid and Knetic is fully prepared to supply.

Mihail was not sure if the sudden feeling that hit him when Knetic excitedly exclaimed that he wanted to use the drill was regret, or happiness that he'd gotten him to smile again. It was probably regret. He only just remembered that Knetic could be a little... clumsy... with equipment. The damage was done, though. He had given him the option and he was not about to go back on it. "Dr-drill it is. Uh.. be careful. Not to getgetget my fingers, or something." He began to sort out the parts they'd need but paused... slowly turning to stare at Knetic with slightly widened eyes.

"Knetic. That's to-toh-totally na--not okay. The purpose is to a-a-aaavoid people getting hu-hurt, not inte-te-tentionally hurt them. Be--besides, what'd he-he do to deserve it?" And Knetic gave him a hard time about living up to purpleblood stereotypes.. honestly... How was intentionally hurting a lowblood just to see their blood color any better than taking charge of a situation? "Y-you're just lucky he did-didn't hear." He hoped. He looked around to Frendo, hoping the other boy had not, in fact, heard Knetic talking about wanting to see how bright his blood was.

That would be awkward. Really awkward.

He was about to start putting things into place when a military official approached the group, barking orders to move along and do something else- the older volunteers would handle this. Mihail sighed, equally displeased and relieved to be ushered along somewhere else. This time they were supposed to go wave some glowing batons around to signal where to park the towing machines, which... was at an entirely different site and would be a bit of a walk. Oh well.

"C-cuh-c'mon, lets go. If we-we go together it'll look good." He motioned for the other two kids to join him and Knetic on the trek to the other site. Along the way they passed some high ranking official grilling another kid about what a drill was doing lying around. Wait... did he really not know what it was? Mihail actually stopped in his tracks, staring in confusion as the poor tealblood struggled to explain what a drill was and that it was not, at all, an abandoned weapon just lying around. Jeez... He shook his head after a moment and shrugged, "some... some adults ama--amaze me..." He commented mostly to Knetic.

Knetic has the audacity to look scandalized. "I have no such intentions, Mihail. I am an upstanding troll civilian and I do not harm my fellow trolls." He pauses, eyeing Mihail with narrowed, offended eyes.

Until he smirked and looked away.

"You know......Unless it's for scientific purposes." Always a catch with this one.

Knetic sighs and drills in the bits he has to, being mindful to not bring harm to any of his friends fingers or the fingers of any other trolls in the area. For now. "So...is all this drilling going to amount to something or did I do this for no reason." he eyes the blueprints and let's out an 'o' sound. "I guess that is important....kinda."

Still, he's finished drilling and not a single troll was mangled in the process. And that my friends is progress.

"Oh what...we're moving?" He looks over at the officer that was barking orders and quirks a brow. "Someone's angry.." He puts the drill away and dusts off his pants before following Mihail. He almost bumps into him when he stops to witness the officer yell at a poor troll over a...drill? Yes, the weapon of choice it seems.

".....Adult can be so dumb sometimes, right, Mihail?" He shakes his head and pulls Mihail along. "What kind of troll would leave their weapon lying around. And doesn't the guy see a whole bunch of trolls using power tools around that one singular troll? Geez talk about a one track mind. Older trolls really think they can do whatever they want just cause they were hatched earlier than us." Knetic grumbles, eyeing back once more to see if that adult numb skull was still harassing that kid.

And possibly to see if greenie and frendo were still following them. He would like to get to know them more regardless of certain scientific inquiries.

"Right, so sa-sa-says the kid that suggested cutting open another kid justjustjust to see what his uh, what his blood looks like." Mihail returned his offended look with an eyeroll of his own. "Al-always a catch with y-yuh-you. If you wa-wanted to know so ba-ba-bad you should go to a museum... Or su-suh-something." There were plenty of those, after all. And many of them had exhibits on the hemospectrum with plenty of blood samples to look at. "Y-yeah, looks like're go-going."

He nodded at Knetic's statement. "Sometimes... but-but most of the time they have guh-good wisdom andandand you can learn a la-laaaoht from them. You just have to uh, find, i mean, find the right one." He shrugged, looking around for the station they were going to go. It appeared they'd been redirected to the wrong place. They already had enough baton wavers!

"We're breaking ground on Gamma, head there kids!" A nearby official waved them on further into the work site.

"...Luh-looks like we're gonna test the soil..." He sighed, and tugged Knetic on toward Gamma 3A. Measuring sticks were passed out as soon as they were within range. An older troll instructed them to follow along and write down what the meters told them - it was "very important" and "meant a lot to the progress of Alternia" that this be done.

Mihail couldn't help but think the task mindless and extremely boring. "I'd ra-ra-rather be digging than do th-this stuff... What about youyou?" He'd mostly been talking to Knetic, but if the other two wanted to interject he wouldn't mind. "At-at least that's something to concentrate on... inininstead of this uh... mindless stuff. Sticking sticks into the ground and reading the results... Kinda bo--ring." He kept his voice low so as to not let their chaperone hear his griping. As hard working as he was, even Mihail had tasks he hated doing.

"Oh come on, Mihail, you know museums rarely focus on the studies of low bloods. Just their powers and how they can be of service to the higher blood." He doesn't want to pout. But he does. Mihail just doesn't understand the intricacies of seeing blood first hand. "Besides, I would have offered to let them cut me in return you know."

Knetic shoves his hands in his pockets like a regular cool dude and sighs, heading over to the....wait, they weren't going there anymore. Well okay. He can handle changes in plans. He was flexible.

"So they have enough guinea pigs over there." He mumbles, kicking dirt beneath his feet.

Gamma ground? Oh no not more shovels.

Oh thank ******** it's not shovels. But it seems himself and Mihail just can't escape the terrors of dirt. Knetic could still feel the grime under his nails from all that shovel work and his palms and thighs were already sore just thinking about it all. Still, he grabs his supplies just like Mihail and sticks close by, measuring the soil samples.

"Don't farmer type trolls measure the soil content? Couldn't they just hire a farmer to do this?" He sure was chock full of beans, Knetic was. The former thought of just how far he actually was from touching a rocket ship or any sort of air craft reared it's ugly head and made Knetic somber once more. Well, as somber as he can get.

"We still haven't seen tail nor end of a space ship. I gotta say it's mildly infuriating and 56 percent disappointing." He sighs, writing down more numbers and keeping a slight eye on greenie and Frendo. You know, just to make sure they don't run off and join a different group and leave himself and MIhail as poor dirt measuring losers. Oh wait.

"Tha--that's really not any anyanyyyy better, Knetic." Mihail shook his head, sighing again. Honestly... Knetic could make up an excuse for anything if he thought he could get away with it. "Well yeah but youyouyou gotta realize they're spe-spuhh-spending a lot of beetles on on recovering the ships- so,so you gotta get a lot of uh, volunteers to help out where they ca-ca-can to cut costs." Besides, he was pretty sure the farmer trolls were being utilized to feed everyone. Probably.

"I know its disap--disappointing. But we got-gotta keep helping. We're-we're taking part in history, youyou know?" He beamed at the thought. History was one of his favorite subjects, after all. While their names probably wouldn't be mentioned anywhere, they could at least look back on it and remember that they helped propel trollkind back into space where they belonged, as true conquerors of the galaxy. "Oh, looks. Looks uh, like, like that guy is flagging us down." He pointed off to the distance where an approaching official was waving frantically.

"We need more assistance with the arches, you four go over there and help assemble. Here, blueprints." The official shoved the rolled up prints into Mihail's hands, then quickly trotted off to flag down another group of trolls.

Mih blinked, looking from the blueprints to Knetic, then to Frendo and... he didn't know her name, still. "We--well... at, at least its not dirt. Lets go." He shrugged, then started off for the area they were supposed to start setting up the next arch in.

Though as soon as he was able to look at the prints he soon realized that something was very wrong. "Uh... these.. um... Hm..." He flipped through them, then tried turning them upside down... over to one side... then the other.. the look around the area to see if they were missing anything. "...I don't uh, I don't think these are right..."

"Voluntary, shm-oluntary, you know this is mandatory for low bloods. Probably. Adult trolls that give a s**t about the spectrum sure do make a fuss about the lower rungs being 'involved' when it's really just a cover up for slavery." Knetic spouts, huffing quietly and only marginally hoping that the two in their little group didn't hear them. Marginally.

Op, Mihail called it history so now Knetic has to be into it. It's his favorite subject and he's going to support his friends favorite things. Even if right now this history sucks and he's pretty sure that if they put it in history books they were never even going to be mentioned. Just a small part of the "bigger picture" or whatever the hell that means. History stuff, who knows.

"True this will be a part of history and true we could be the very trolls that use these ports when we get older. I guess that does make it cooler and kinda less disappointing. About... twenty percent less disappointing." More like five but Mihail does not need to know that...

Knetic eyes the new troll telling them where to go and what to do, quirking a brow when he realizes it's assembly of some arches. Wait. He eyes them carefully while they walk, thinking about why they looked wrong even when given to Frendo and Greenie. Something was a mess and he could see Mihail knew it too, especially when they circled back around to him.

"Yeah...that calls for wiring but the arches...don't have panels. That doesn't make any sense." He pulls them out of Mihail's grasp and flips them around too. Damn fancy technical mumbo jumbo. This was supposed to be grub proof and easy to read, why did this not make any sense? "They must have given us the wrong blueprints cause there isn't any panel and this wiring is all internal so there's no need to stick anything anywhere."

Mihail dropped what he was doing to quite literally plaster a hand over Knetic's mouth. What on Alternia had he just said!? "Knetic, you really needneedneed to think before you spa-spee-speak." He hissed, glancing around to make sure no one else had heard. His friend's lax and often critical view of the hemospectrum was very, very concerning but he had not considered that Knetic would be so foolish as to spout anti-hemospectrum sentiment in a military base. "We are in in-in uh, in a military base. Think of who is ar-ar-around before you spea-speak." His words came out a lot harsher than he'd meant them, but he was saying such things out of concern. He wouldn't be able to live with himself if something happened to Knetic and he was able to stop it.

With a sigh, he nodded, "yes these are-are the wrong ones..." Finally, an adult came by to collect the blueprints with an annoyed snap. Apparently they weren't needed for this project any longer. The adult pointed to a row of cleaning supplies, then jerkily instructed them to go clean the load gaper block before storming off in a rush.

"Great... load ga-ga-gaper duty..." He sighed, expression falling as he eyed the mop buckets and cleaning cart in the distance. This was one thing he really did not want to do... "C-c'mon... Let's go. If, if we're lucky they a-a-aren't that dirty." He reached for one of Knetic's hands, then pulled him off toward the cleaning supplies. If Frendo and the greenblood girl were following, he didn't seem to notice. He had better things to think about- like whether or not anyone had heard Knetic and what to do about it if they had. They were just kids, he could say Knetic didn't know what he was talking about, or something. But, then again, Knetic was very outspoken and probably would mess up that lie. He needed a plan, and a good one... Just in case.

And there is a hand over his mouth. Okay, time to slobber. So he does, tongue right up on Mihail's palm and leaving copious amounts of tinted saliva. Serves him right for covering his mouth, you know? Knetic waits for the offending hand to be removed from his person, saliva and all and sighs. "Yeah, yeah I know. But it's still the truth."

...Did that troll just say load gapper? Oh HELL no. Knetic plants his feet as firmly as he can into the ground and tries to resist Mihail pulling in the direction of some nasty a** load gappers. Listen. Knetic is not a violent troll by nature and he is pretty willing to do most things. But there is no way on this side of Alternia that he is cleaning some gappers. He was not hatched into this blood color for that mess.

"Mihail, I swear I will feed all of your history books to Sharp Tooth if you make me go do this. I don't care what that adult ******** truck said, I am not cleaning load gappers!" No. Absolutely not, that is DRONE WORK.

The whining begins when he's still being dragged away toward disease and filth. "Mihaillllllllllll. Come on, can't we just find something else to do? We can lie and say we did it or go somewhere else and pretend we heard nothing! .....Mihail! Man! This is s**t! Literally!" Needless to say, Knetic is not a happy camper at this moment in time and just thinking about all the nasty stuff that happens around load gappers, especially public-portable ones, was enough to make him hurl.

Which he does not want so boy does he try to hold it in.

"Buddy. Friend. Hatched together troll of my same blood caste. This is torture. Please don't make me do this."

"Knetic, everyone pulls their weight and that means that sometimes you gotta... youyouyou gotta clean load gapers..." Mihail scrunched his face a little, not really pleased to be doing the duty but he was not about to back down from it. That would make him look bad, after all! Sure, cleaning load gapers was not really something someone of his blood status should be doing, but... he'd try to take it as an educational experience. Anything to broaden his horizons.

At least he was going to, until Knetic seemed to start throwing a very public tantrum. Honestly... "Kne-knetic, we can't just lie, wha-what-what if they're really dirty? it'll be ob-ob-obvious! Andand then we'll get in trouble. And ma-maybe barred from coming back. Then you'd lo-lose all chance of se-se-seeing a space ship up close." He tried to reason with him, but knew it was a hopeless effort. Once Knetic set his mind on something he just wasn't going to change it.

"I'm not ma-ma-making you do anything. I'm going to do my d-d-duty, and if you wa-wa-want to just watch that's fine." He sighed, starting to collect the cleaning supplies when another older troll bustled on up to them. "Wait, wait, leave that for someone else to do, why don't you?? How about you go help with clearing the forest over there?" The troll pointed to a nearby area where a bunch of trolls were working to wield saws. Mihail glanced from the older troll to the work area, then back, then to Knetic... Dammit.

"Okay. We'll go he-he-help there." He nodded, and sighed a little. Now he was going to have to make sure Knetic didn't cut himself on a saw.

Or anyone else, for that matter.

"So we esca-esce-escaped load gaper d--duty, but it might come up again. A-a-aand don't even think ab-about doin' any fu-fuhh-funny business with the saws, Knetic. They-they're dangerous." He knew Knetic would just tell him he was being Aligaa 2.0, but someone had to play lusus in the group. Well. Maybe not lusus, but commander, or something. And as much as he adored Knetic, he just wasn't responsible enough for the task. Yet.
