"Great, thanks!" Philip flashed Avvisi a big smile as she cheerfully accepted his task. The tealblood had a nice peppiness about her, like she liked to get stuff done! As he watched her move into position, the orangeblood failed to notice Kwelin swoop in on him.
"Wha- hey!" He yelped as the tape measure was snatched from him, along with a snippy remark. Pouting a little as the job he'd equipped himself for was taken from him, he tried to look for a positive to the situation. Maybe Kwelin had done that because he'd wanted to come hold his hand for a second or something. Yeah that sounded good. Kwelin was shy like that, he would look for subtle indirect ways to get his attention.
"What's the reading? I'll write it down! It looks like a good amount of space to me!" Philip pulled out his handy pocket sized notebook! A proper detective never left home without one! Feeling around in his pockets, he frowned as he was lacking the second tool for the job, however.
"Urm, either of you got a spare pen I could borrow?" Glancing at her symbol and his horns, between the Avvisi and Kwelin one of them was bound to have something, he mused to himself with a chuckle!

Tzofia had been following along behind Philip as they reached the site they'd decided to help work on, but she'd fallen behind when an older military uniformed troll had started barking orders and instructions. Pausing uncertainly had led to catching their attention, and from that point she'd had no choice at all but to stop and listen. Several awkward glances towards where the detective had gone later, the instructions were done. She was handed a set of blueprints and waved off.
Immediately the purpleblood scurried towards Philip, coming to a stop and taking a little moment to catch her breath. As she heard him ask for a pen, she reached for her bag to where she kept her own journal and pens only to pause as one of the others spoke up first. Blinking, she paused and took a closer look at them. Kwelin got a little smile of recognition, but when she finally took in exactly who Avvisi was, she gave a little gasp.
"Oh!" It wasn't terribly hard to recognize her out of costume if one was really trying, but so far no one had taken that close look just yet, as far as she could tell. Avvisi, though, had interviewed her out of costume that first day of the competition. If anyone was gonna know her on sight as Peachick, it would be her! Glancing uncertainly at the cameraman, she gave the tealblood a smile as well anyway. "It's good to see you again! You've um, you've got a camera this time."
A little flustered that she'd only really managed to state the obvious there, she offered up the blueprints to the group as a whole. "They want us to help work on this, I think." She glanced at the tape measure again as well. "If we're finished with measurements?"

The minute she heard she'd be helping space travel occur, Gwenyn joined to help out the military in excitement. Unfortunately, she couldn't do much as a child, so she was forced to help out from the ground and... Attempt some sort of help on her part. Admittedly, the greenblood was not one to actively pursue hard labor, but she did enjoy watching others do it for her. So when she happened to spy a group of young trolls working on building some sort of contraption, the greenblood shuffled nearer and watched them as they worked for a good minute, quiet, analyzing. They seemed to all know each other. Or at least, seemed jovial about hanging with each other. Great, this meant their interactions would prove more unique, more interesting. The greenblood crossed her arms, tilting her head from one side to the other, ponytail bobbing behind her. Her lips curled into a neutral frown, eyes seemingly disinterested. She still had not said anything, but her eyes were carefully analyzing the things the rest of them did.

Honestly, Gwenyn was a little startled when the blueblood went directly to her and actually offered her a place with their group. She had not expected this, had not considered this. She had expected them to think her strange and brush her off. Had expected it so heavily, in fact, that when the area was deemed finished, the greenblood and settled on maybe leaving, or just bumming off there and not contributing. Her slightly thicker eyebrows lifted in amusement, small smile on her face as she glanced at the other friendly trolls. Maybe if she went with them it'd make it seem like she was doing more than she was actually doing? She was mostly in the area searching for any dead beasts and/or animals, so covering more area was fairly beneficial to her. She hummed to herself, pensive. "Sure." She murmured, finally, eyes boring back into the others unblinkingly before moving to look at the trolls behind him, actually a little excited. Her lusus was off somewhere, probably searching for her, but it wasn't like she was in danger. She could probably off these trolls in her sleep, anyways. "You guys seem to be working hard." She commented, lips curling into a smile as she walked ahead to the wagon, hand fiddling with the bracelet on her wrist.
