For the last round of the Drill, V'kenti had decided he would switch things up just a little bit. He'd seen how each individual was doing and part of him still thought that some nerves (or maybe over confidence) was getting in the way and he wanted to end the drill on a positive note. On this last pass, a greater count of thread would be falling, the rest of what they had to be exact and it would be a chance for everyone to flame and do the best they could. Takarath dutifully relayed the instructions for the last round and V'kenti hoped this would help things.

OOC:
Okay guys! This last round is going to be a little different. I'm going to roll 5 d100! The ranges will be amended and you'll want to roll WITHIN the range but NOT the exact number. Each player will also roll 5d100. Each roll will count! If ranges happen to overlap, your roll will count for the highest scoring. Once again, disregard the total number!

V'kenti watched from above as most everyone did exceedingly well. Notably, Hurricane wing excelled, with Kit and A'dras flaming quite a few threads and getting the most points for the round. Only G'lin and Neiveth failed to dodge everything this round and took a direct hit. After giving the signal to land, V'kenti looked over everyone. Some had dye marks all over them while others were relatively mark free. Overall, he thought the drill went well and was pleased with the outcome. "Good job everyone, thank you for all the hard work today. The results are as follows:

Tornado Wing: 78 points
      20 points || Wingsecond: Al’ndru & Bronze Alucarth
          6 points || G’lin & Green Neiveth
          13 points || E’dan & Blue Galxath
          19 points || Lucayr & Brown Tikth

Hurricane Wing: 104 points
      26 points || Wingleader: A’dras & Bronze Gareth
        15 points || Ay’ril & Bronze Yffengeth
          17 points || Ashlyn & Blue Gyafrith
          29 points || Kyt & Green Rath

Golds: 22 points
        17 points || Lestenna & Gold Uridith

Hurricane has gathered more points this Drill. Thank you, Hurricane wing, for taking the time to Drill with us. Lestenna and Uridith as well, I hope you both gained some experience. This concludes today's drill, good work and see everyone next time."
And with that, V'kenti dismissed the wings, he would stay around, of course, if anyone had any questions or comments but the riders were free to go.

OOC:

Thank you to everyone who participated. And a big thank you to Hurricane wing for joining Tornado. I hope everyone had fun! While this wasn't necessarily to spur any rivalries, let me know if any of your characters feels this way and maybe we can do a thing!

If you wouldn't mind, please fill out the form below! As it's my first time running a game of this nature, I'd like everyone's feedback! I'll be including spaces for IC and OOC, feel free to do one or the other or both! If you played more than one character they can be included in the same form, just note which is which!Thank you much!

What are your general thoughts on this Wing Drill?
IC: G'lin holds his head in his hands and is like 'OK, I clearly need more practice'
OOC: THE DICE HATE ME SO MUCH. But it works since most riders aren't allowed to ride in a wing until they're 16 so G'lin is hella inexperienced.

Which round form did you prefer? The dodging/flaming different role round or the multiple thread dice round?
IC: G'lin is perhaps a little too bummed out to have a real opinion
OOC:I kind of liked the dodging/flaming more because it was a little more straightforward in terms of the dice rolls?

Any suggestions for the game in the future? Feel free to include any additional thoughts here!
IC: hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngh
OOC: Experience modifiers! A dragon with little experience (Hi, Neiveth) obviously isn't going to have as much skill as a dragon that has been practicing for 5+ years with a wing in a Weyr.

What are your general thoughts on this Wing Drill?
IC: "It is very important to get practice in, the Drill showed it. No matter how much we think we know, it is important to remember that even the best need to hone their skills. Gyafrith and I see that we need to work on our flaming, it wasn't the best during the drill."
OOC: I think it was really fun, even if the dice did not seem to like me much during the flaming portion. Did alright with the dodging, dice need to learn to give us some credit lol

Which round form did you prefer? The dodging/flaming different role round or the multiple thread dice round?
IC: "I personally preferred the multiple thread round because we seemed to do better during it"
OOC: I would say the dodging/flaming because it was pretty straight forward what we needed to get or avoid.

Any suggestions for the game in the future? Feel free to include any additional thoughts here!
IC: "Something more to be done as a team, would be very nice. Since when we are in a real situation, we have to rely on our Wing dynamics. We work as a team, so we should practice more as a team."
OOC: I agree with Pach, some kind of modifier depending on how much experience the rider/dragon pairs have. Also, as my character pointed out, some kind of team aspect would be cool.
