Group Class: Historical Re-enactment

This class is on one of the soggy rooftop gardens. Trolls are getting into ridiculous looking outfits, hefting antiquated weapons, and yelling at each other in fancy olde speak. A list of famous troll battles, containing some you recognize from the previous class, has been pinned up on the wall. Apparently you have to pick one out, find a partner, and get your re-enactment jam on! (Trolls will not be given spaceships to fight in and must use their imagination instead.)

Mechanics
This is a standard battle rp, only with the winner/looser chosen beforehand by a dice roll (1d4, if the number is odd, the person who rolled the dice is the winner, if it is even, they are the looser) . For the battle to be a success, the troll who was designated the looser must hit 0hp first. Trolls can 'pull' their punches (deal half damage, rounded down, to a minimum of 1 damage), as long as the damage from the dice is below 6. (3,5 +1 from a weapon can be pulled, 3,6 cannot) If the wrong troll wins the battle, it must be re-done.

This can be used once per troll as a regular battle rp for growth. It has the same standard rp-each-post requirement.

"Hey, we get to fight next. Awesome!" Cerpin looked over the lesson plan and back to Tevini with a grin. He was much better at this sort of thing than he was at drawing maps. He could tell his partner was not looking forward to this the way he was but she had had her turn. Now it was time to get active and put their strategy tips to use in an actual fight!

"I wanna do the worm one. It's more like what we're actually gonna face, y'know?" He took a glance at the script again. "I'll even be the worm, cool? Come at me, let's go!" It would be fun to see how Tevini handled this kind of pressure.

Not only did she have to fight, she also had to act!

"Cerpin, I feel stupid." His partner was less than enthused. She could handle the exercise. She could handle memorizing her lines. She could not handle the stupid spaceship costume she had to wear to represent Battleship A. Holding her laser gun prop, the girl glared as they were called to the stage. Of course he would pick the role that appears for only a brief second and then disappears to leave her to act out a collision all by herself.

"Pfft." Cerpin hid 'off stage', watching Tevini stand there radiating grumpy waves of darkness and hatred that could probably summon a thunderstorm. Or at least, a very obnoxious drizzle. He covered his mouth, trying to muffle his laughter as she awkwardly pantomimed with her laser gun and bulky costume. He didn't really mind dressing up like a giant worm, Cerpin was used to playing the fool.

Anything for attention, really. He watched and waited, too entertained to bail her out quite yet.

"It appears we are nearing Ultronimox. I suggest we set course to continue approaching from the south east position." Tevini awkwardly stuttered. How did a person act like a battleship? Battleships were comprised of many trolls, who did different jobs to operate the machine. She didn't know what to do or say, especially because her only other partner on stage was a box painted like a space ship to represent Battleship B. It couldn't even move on it's own!

"Oh no, a ship appears to be approaching! It's trying to fl-flank us!" The redblood proclaimed. She stood awkwardly waiting for something to happen before realizing it looked like she was just saying random stuff. For this to work, Battleship B needed to move closer.

So it did.

Using her psionics, the girl tugged the cardbox box labeled B closer towards her and waited for Cerpin to come on stage. Silence filled the stage as he took his sweet time, likely to irritate her. She had to do something to force him.

"And then The Great Space Worm appeared!" At this, she used her psionics to pull a heavy looking gorilla statue prop to knock it into Cerpin's back hard to show she meant business. The impact would leave a bruise, sure, but her ego was already getting bruised plenty out in this ridiculous thing.

Cerpin lifted the box labeled Spaceship C from behind the scenes and ran with it out onto the stage. He was going to wear down Tevini slowly with multiple small attacks on both her body and her frustrated mental state. He slammed the box into her backside as hard as he could, snorting as the cardboard crumpled and warped in shape. These spaceships were not going to last long.

"Oops... hahahahaha!" An eruption of laughter sounded from his direction as he jumped back to get some space between them again. He was enjoying this too much.

"Ah!" She stumbled a little as a box crashed into her. Confused for a second, her mood switched to irritation at the sound of laughter from behind her. She could've used her powers to move the box representing Battleship C into place but instead opted to try kicking it, mostly to vent some frustration.

She did, however, use her powers to tug on the Cerpin's costume to remind him she was waiting. A little harder than she'd meant to. She was still trying to get the hang of them. The costume yanked in a downward motion hard, slamming his face into the ground.

Tevini tugged on his costume and Cerpin yelped in confusion as he ate floor. He had not been expecting that. Fine, he would get a little more serious. Nobody would be prepared for the spectacle that was Wormpin Sugall. He pressed a button on a boom box and set it down on the ground before taking a deep breath. He launched himself out, carrying the head of his worm high in the air.

"Hear me now, oh thou bleak and unbearable world, thou art base and debauched as can beeeeeee-" The music blared in the background as Cerpin began to run circles around Tevini with his giant worm ribbon puppet, leaping into the air to put on an impressive show. He continued singing the whole while, keeping sure to have distance between himself and the dumbfounded redblood. He used the stick that the worm was attached to as a staff to swing at her but his blows unfortunately missed. Maybe it would be smarter to attack from closer after all.

Tevini stood starstruck by his amazing entrance and this only spurred Cerpin on. He continued circling around her, knocking the other spaceships around as he made his rounds. His voice was a little ragged from the energetic leaping and running but it still had a passionate growl to it.

"Hear me, heathens and wizards
And serpents of sin!
All your dastardly doings are past,
For a holy endeavor is now to begin-"

He gave her a swift kick to the a** of her box and let out a triumphant laugh at her wobbling. He knew she was already incredibly annoyed but hey, they were supposed to both fight and entertain, right? He completed another spin with his staff, knocking her on the shoulder.

"And virtue shall triumph at last!"

"Ack!" Tevini yelped as Cerpin finished with a flourish of a kick. Glaring at him, she struggled with how to follow an act like that. Why hadn't she expected him to pull a stunt like this? It made absolute no sense at all, which is why of COURSE he would do it!

"There you are! I've been looking for you!" She raised her raygun with shaking hands. Remembering she was not alone, she used her powers to tug the other battleship boxes closer, trying to remember what orbit configuration to enter. Somehow she needed to end this before Cerpin started singing again! In her uncertainty, the boxes began to fly around and whacked him in the head. At least that's how she played it off. Truthfully she'd meant to do that. Jerk deserved a little roughing up for the stunts he was pulling tonight.

Tevini aimed and 'fired' her toy gun at Cerpin and he hammed up the impact from the 'rays'. Twisting and turning while sinking to his knees, he grabbed dramatically at his side. A hand reached out towards Tevini and he spoke with a rasp.

"You can't kill me with that thing, pathetic trolls. I am the great Wormlegedon. Nothing can stop me." He took the chance to rush her and knock her down.

Reaching down, he stole her gun, seeming to forget how the battle was supposed to go.

"You can't-" Tevini yelped as Cerpin ripped her weapon away from her. She swatted and scratched at his hands in the scuffle as he tried to pull away. In one final desperate attempt she reached out towards him, miscalculating and punching him in the face! Tevini was not the best with hand-eye coordination. She hoped she hadn't started a black eye for him with that. Now what was she supposed to do? It was like he was trying to screw this up so they'd have to do it all over again! No! This was humiliating enough once, she refused to do it twice! She'd have to beat Cerpin at his own game then if she wanted this to stop. But the question was how? Glancing around the stage she looked for any tools she could use.

Looking up at the ceiling hopelessly, an idea occurred to her. Maybe she could throw him off by...

She cut the lights.

She thought she could spoil his show by cutting the lights? Tevini had another thing coming. Didn't she know that stars only shone brighter in the dark? Noises indicated Cerpin fumbling around in the darkness for a minute before there was another click.

The track kicked in.

"Baby, when the lights... go out..." Cerpin began to sing along, well aware that this action would agitate his partner further. She'd had her fun forcing him to draw those stupid ******** maps. Now it was his turn to enjoy himself.

"I'll show you what it's all about!"

Of course. Of course this would happen. She'd forgotten he'd brought something along not hooked to the main power. Hands clutched curls as Tevini fumed at how she could miss something so stupid. Next he'd probably start glowing in the dark.
