His thoughts were troubled as of late, not because of any action on his part. In fact he had probably done a great deal of service to the small Tah he had happened across. He had escorted him to what seemed to be a very safe encampment and had taken his leave but kept close by. There was a reason he was in this place, it was torn apart, two halves of a whole that had yet to come together. He was uncertain of what caused everything to become so negative, but he was doing what he could to help those that had been affected. He felt a calling to this place and so he would stay, at least for now.

The paroo at his feet glanced up towards him and cocked it's head slightly as it peered about. Had it heard something he had earlier missed? Viti looked about and it wasn't long before another B'alam came into view and it would appear to be it was a Nan. He wondered if she was just wondering around much like he was. He remained where he stood, waiting for her to come to him.

Despite the fact that Hitomi had woken into such a troubled tribe, a plesant smile had rested on her maw for some time now, conveying a sense of serenity to those that saw her. She felt like she had found her place in the world, like she understood what the Weaver had intended when he wove her. With so much strife within the tribe that had caused so much pain, there was a need for those that lived to alleviate that pain. Such was her purpose, she decided. This was how she wished to live her life, and she would do exactly that.

Her ears perked up at the distant sound of claws clicking against the stone, and a scent followed soon after. Another b'alam, it seemed, with some kind of animal as well. All the b'alam she had met so far had been amiable, and she had learned a great deal from all of them. Without hesitation, she continued forward to meet the other. Soon, the Tah came into view, with a little bird-like creature beside him. She bowed her head to him before she spoke. "Good evening, sir," she greeted, her voice soft and sweet. She tilted her head at his animal companion. "And to your little friend as well."

The Paroo wasn't what Viti would call timid but he was staying close to his side for now. Usually it would go and do it's own thing and that was fine, he wasn't going to restrict it. "Good Evening." He replied with a small nod of his head, his shawl swaying a bit as he did so. "The Paroo is Leukos, I'm called Viti," he gave a look around before continuing, "What is your name?" He didn't think she was from the Capitol, she seemed too nice to be from there. From what he had heard almost everyone within the city had an air about them.

She seemed carefree and full of light. It was refreshing given some of what he had heard and seen first paw.

"Paroo?" Her curious gaze rested on the Tah's companion. "Is that what these creatures are called, then?" She returned her attention to Viti, smiling meekly. "Forgive me. I'm still rather new to this world. My name is Hitomi."

She could not help but continue observing the paroo, her smile widening the more she did so. She continued to be blessed with good fortune, for this b'alam and his pet also seemed to be kind. She knew she would run into unsavory characters one day, but she was glad that today was not that day. They were fairly close to the Phoenix camp where she had learned about the divide in the tribe, so he could be part of their group or like her and be on neither side – not that it was not possible for a member of the Dragon army to be found out here. She wouldn't know; she was too new to this place to know much of anything. Still, this Tah did not unsettle her, and she imagined those other b'alam would leave her feeling apprehensive. "Pardon me for asking, but are you a member of one of these tribe factions?"

He gave a nod of his head, "That is correct. And everything will come in time. The Weaver gives us the knowledge we need, when we need it." He expressed to her in a soft and friendly manner. Her soul seemed light and pure to him and this made him happy, especially with all the chaos that was running rampart in the world right now. She was like a breath of air.

Giving a shake of his head he took a moment to look around and then returned his gaze to her. "I am part of neither, I find it best to stay as neutral as I can with this matter. I find there are those on both sides that are in need of spiritual guidance so who am I to stake claim to one side or the other when both need my help." He hadn't meant to make it sound as long as it did but he felt strongly about his cause.

His words came as a comfort to her. She had been avidly seeking knowledge about the world, trying to figure out her place in it. Being told that she would learn what she needed to know at the appropriate time was soothing, and she nodded in understanding.

"I feel the same way," she replied after he explained his position in the war. "For a while, I really didn't know what to do with myself, but who does, really, when they just awake? Two travelers – who are also neutral – told me about the conflict, and it came as a bit of a shock to me. It was a lot to absorb; it still hasn't quite sunken in, haha." She paused, gaze falling to her paws. She hadn't been exposed to the true horrors of the war, and she was grimly aware of that fact. A part of her wondered if she would regret her decision to leave the comforting embrace of ignorance which still held her; however, she was resolved. It brought her great joy to help others, healing the injuries the strife wrought. She firmly believed this was her purpose, the reason she was woven at this time. "I, too, wish to help others," she began, finding the gaze of the Tah once again. "I believe I can do a lot of good for others in this trying time. I want to heal. I don't know too much about spiritual care, but I can alleviate physical pain, at least, and I'm sure that skill is needed right now."

He was pleased to hear she felt much like he did about things. He wasn't sure he'd ever actually choose a side, even if he was forced to. "I sorta found out about it from a small cub who had seen some terrible things." He said a little solomn about the whole thing. It had been greatly distrubing and had hurt his soul to see the poor cub like he had been. At least he had been able to be some sort of a guiding light for him.

"I had taken him to the phoenix army for further recovery." He commented. He listened as she spoke and gave a small nod, perhaps the two of them could do some good together. "I'm fairly good with spiritual help, not so much physical healing. Perhaps the two of us can pair up and help others?" He suggested.

Hitomi could hear the sadness in his voice as he spoke about a the cub. Her gaze fell to the ground as the walked, musing over the anguish in which the cub must have been to affect the Tah so greatly.

Her ears perked up at his suggesting, and she raised her eyes to meet his with a smile on her face. "I think that's a wonderful idea." The two of them complimented each other greatly, and could help many a B'alam in need in their own ways. "We could certainly provide complete care to those that we find." She was well aware of the fact that they could only do what was in their power, but could very well help on both physical and spiritual fronts. She imagined that many B'alam needed both in this trying time.

"At this time, are there any B'alam in your care that require assistance that I could provide?"
