The main surface street that runs through the city- you must travel through this route to get to the shops and other locations on smaller streets in the city. One wrong turn and you will find yourself in the crowded 𝐵𝑎𝑐𝑘 𝐴𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑦𝑤𝑎𝑦

Seimei emerged from the back alleyways with a smirk on his face as he juggled a bag filled with gold coins in one hand. That had been his most successful heist thus-far. At first sight the man didn't seem to have much valuables but since the original owner was out of the house, the feline had let himself in, only to find a bag filled with gold coins hidden under the mattress. Seimei chuckled softly with a dark undertone before he leaned back against one of the walls and opened the pouch up again. Seimei then started to move the coins from the bag into his own pouches until it was empty and useless.
The old bag discarded, the feline then walked into the streets ahead and decided to just blend into the residents if any. There was no need to exhaust himself by going into stealth all the time. As he walked, Seimei looked around to see if he might be able to buy something here, or even find a room and rest to leave tomorrow. It wouldn't be good to just stick at the same place after all. To big a chance to be caught. The nekomata looked at the houses that sided the street and sighed a bit. None really looked lucrative.

Yuki stood against the wall of one of the roads leading to the alley, observing the people who pass by. He had arrived not too long ago and wanted to buy some food and look for a place to stay for the time being. Maybe find a part-time job as well and save up for future use when he decides to travel again.
And maybe do some picpocketing as well.
He huffed and continued his current activity. People walking by here and there, some looking at the shops for something to catch their interest, even a nekomata holding a pouch money. This went on for half an hour until Yuki sighed and pushed himself off the wall. Might as well look around the city if he wanted to do something.
I wasn't sure so just kept it open smile (He wouldn't just attack without due reason though, he is no longer a pirate, lol

The feline sighed a bit again after looking around him once more. He either overlooked it, or there was no Inn nearby where he was looking. He then shrugged and decided to just move on to the next area. All the while he kept his wits about him. Seimei knew there were pickpockets all over the land, he was one of them sometimes, and wasn't about to lose his recently earned fortune to any other thief. Sure he was known with an honor code among thieves, but this place had seemed something completely else. It wasn't long before he noticed someone was looking at him. A subtle feeling, perhaps they were just glancing him over, but nonetheless the Nekomata turned around and looked at the surrounding people that walked across the streets.
When his gaze found the male that had looked at him, they had just looked away again maybe. But the feline had noticed them now. Seimei tilted his head slightly as he watched them for a moment, before he moved himself in the nearest ally and started to observe the new person at first looking them over. He looked pretty fancy dressed for just a traveler, an adventurer maybe? Seimei could only guess there though. When they pushed off the wall and walked off to look around more, the feline followed them carefully out of pure curiosity. They were someone he hadn't seen here, or he had completely missed them.
He's being followed, he was sure of that. Yuki had just returned from a shop after selling the trinkets he found -and stole- during his travels when he felt eyes on him. The gaze held no malice, only curiosity, and that helped the wanderer relax a little. Yuki looked around and found himself looking at the nekomata from earlier.
Now why would he follow him, he wondered. Is it because he's a new face? Or maybe the way he is dressed? He had to admit it was eye-catching. He'll have to buy some new clothes later after he meets this boy.
Facing the nekomata, he spoke in a soft voice yet loud enough for the boy to hear, "Is there something wrong?" he asked. The wanderer is slightly cautious and alert in case the boy or anyone tried to do anything to him.

The feline decided to just silently follow this individual. Not with the intend to rob the guy, he had plenty to go around with for now and he had already done several robberies in a row by now it was getting old to do it as often, but indeed pure curiosity. Who was this guy that he was wandering around looking that flashy? It wasn't necessarily extravagant, but definitely much more fancy than others he seen so far. It had been Seimei's intention to tail this guy without being found out, though he didn't use his stealth skill. It would seem though that the nekomata had been a little careless and was found out.
At first he reacted a bit surprised when the other looked at him directly and spoke to him, but it didn't take long for him to regain his composure and he chuckled a bit. "It would seem I have underestimated you. I thought I could follow you without being found out." he spoke, quite calmly, as he walked out of the shadow and shrugged at saying the latter. "Nothing is wrong, you are just standing out with the way you are dressed. In case you didn't notice, most people here look colorless and downtrodden." he answered and sighed a bit. It was all quite a boring sight really. That Seimei preferred colors was seen immediately by his own outfit, not that it was much less flashy than the other's.
His black and orange colored short cape, fingerless gloves and harem pants were anything but dull. On the right shoulder part of the cape you could even still see a faded emblem of the pirate crew he used to be a member of. "Who are you? What are you doing here?" he asked curiously and to be fair he had gotten bored up until now. Though he didn't change his calm tune. Seimei stopped on a safe distance from the other, after all he didn't know them yet either. Who knew what they would try or how they came about such wealth.
Yuki watched as the nekomata stepped out of the shadows. He just shrugged from the boy's words. Having been watched for almost all his life made him sensitive to watching eyes along with his senses. He raised a brow when the boy commented about his current clothes, however. "I am aware of that." He said, examining him. Yuki would like to comment about the boy's choice of clothing as well but decided to keep it to himself. Instead, he just shook his head. "Although it is much better than wandering around wearing a sorry excuse of a paor of pants."
When the nekomata stopped a fair distance away from him, Yuki relaxed a bit. He understood why he would stay that far from him. Yuki is a new face and in the state of this world now, one is not always what they seem. The wanderer didn't move from his spot to prevent any more suspicions from the nekomata.
So with that, Yuki bowed his head slightly as he introduced himself. "My name is Yuki. I'm merely looking for a place to stay for a while before heading out again to travel." He answered. "And yours?"

Seimei wasn't sure if this man just made a remark back at his clothes or if he meant the sorry excuse for pants that you saw around these days, but he didn't really care. After all with his magic skills of stealth, it didn't matter that his clothes were the way they are. It would seem that keeping some distance was nonetheless a good choice however, as the male seemed to relax a little when Seimei stopped his approach. The feline was merely being careful. He had heard the stories about people being abducted and sold in filthy shops to the highest bidder and he would not submit to such a situation willingly.
It seemed like they had quite good manners as well, manners that felt alien to Seimei after his time with the crew on the ship. The feline grinned a bit when he was mirrored the question. "To be expected and your right." he said. "My name is Seimei and I have actually been looking for the same thing. I can tell you that it isn't easy to find a place to stay here. I have yet to come by an Inn." he replied, not feeling the need to use his last name or where he came from. Not that his last name held any meaning to him any longer. It wasn't used since he was a child. "You'd think that they would be around a lot to earn money in this desolate world." Seimei added and shrugged.
"It'll be another night under the open sky I guess." Not that the nekomata really minded it much. He even liked the scent of a campfire nearby and the warmth of course as a cat. He loved warmth. It would seem they were both looking for a place to rest but the way he had seen it thus-far, there was no such opportunity. Usually Seimei wouldn't really bother with being as social as he was now, but it wasn't to bad once in a while. Especially when he didn't need to watch for targets or places to rob.
Yuki sighed. Maybe he should have worded his comment differently and say it was his previous wear. A part of him wanted to correct that but the other wanted to stay silent, so he took the latter. This is why he didn't like being in a conversation.
The nekomata introduced himself as Seimei. What an interesting name. "It is nice to meet you, Seimei." He said with a small smile and looked around. He had to agree with Seimei, it seems finding an inn would be a hard task. Yuki sighed and scratched the back of his head. "Indeed, though I wouldn't mind staying outside." He mumbled and looked back at Seimei with something in mind. "Do you know of any shops that sells food here?"

It would seem something was bothering the other, as they sighed, but they didn't speak up about it, so Seimei wouldn't ask. He had no interest in the other's personal issues after all. Mere curiosity had driven him to follow this man and it was only fate that they ended up talking. Not that Seimei minded much, in this world conversation was scarce it would seem, let alone company. His ears moved forward in a curious pose as he watched Yuki smile and then speak again.
"Nice to meet you too, Yuki." he replied. After all it wasn't like you got overrun with people around here. When they looked around and then spoke again, the feline nodded. They seemed to share the same ideas as him at least. "I like being outside, at least the campfire that comes with it." he admitted. Hearing the question he thought for a moment about all the shops he had passed by on his haul and then nodded. "There is some that sell what they can grow, I guess it would make a good start to look for those. I have lately just been catching my own meals." Seimei answered and chuckled a bit.
"It's over there near the crossing of streets. I am not sure what they sell for food, but it smelled edible." he added and shrugged a bit. It was a strange feeling for Seimei. He usually was quite on his own, as he just trusted no one basically, yet it seemed that the desolate state of this world even made him alright with company now and then. It sure beat talking to yourself or something like that as you traveled the lands. Maybe it was time to find a more permanent housing for in between heists, he was used to being a free bird however.

The trip from the Barrens to the city limits and forward had followed the same general feeling as the one Dante and Siere had taken into his territory from the bar before. Mostly Siere’s body wiped itself of sensory organs except for eyes to lead them forward. Since he was wearing pants, no new legs bloomed and helped him along—he’d learned that lesson perhaps a year ago—and besides he wanted to stay at Dante’s two-legged pace.
And so, they arrived in Ozymandias, starting down the city streets. As they did so, with Siere taking several paces of the lead at first, Siere saw two other figures on the street they’d arrived at.
Starving as he was, long as it had been (his abstention due, in great part, to wanting to move forward as soon as possible with this new ally), he was tempted to approach and feed. Indeed, the temptation to do so was strong, horribly so, and long, spidery limbs, a multitude of mouths and eyes, blossomed on his figure before being pulled abruptly in to a more normal human-like appearance, hair still, maw on the left side of his jaw slowly pulling in, long tongue curling up and under until the skin was smooth.
Unsure what Dante might have seen or what conclusions the other might draw, he did not acknowledge any change in his demeanor but beckoned Dante forward, head turned carefully away from any other bodies around.

The mention of food being sold had lifted Yuki's mood a little. He wasn't a picky eater as long as okay. Perhaps he should follow Seimei's advice and do some cooking on his own. He found some things that could help and hunting isn't a problem. Maybe he should make something for the boy. As a gift or something.
Yuki already felt a friendship of sort to Seimei. Not much that he would feel comfortable with someone too close but it was getting there. He had been suspicious at first but after meeting and having a short conversation, Yuki found himself not minding Seimei's company.
His good mood faltered, however, when he noticed two people enter the area and looked at them from the corner of his eye. One seemed to be looking at them. Yuki would have ignored them when he noticed what just happened to the male. His hands twitched, itching to reach for his kukris. The wanderer relaxed when the guy finally walked away with his companion.
With that done, Yuki couldn't help but feel as if something was going to happen. Looking back at Seimei, Yuki wondered if the boy had seen what he just saw.

The regrouping commenced at the edge of Siere's camp, and it was moments later that they would begin their long journey on foot back to the city, past the bar where they had met. It was quiet, similar to that of their previous walk but filled with much less mystery and caution around the other. Instead of watching little glimpses of cautious eyes blinking in and out of the other males skin, this time the incubus took the time to look over the rest of his companion. It seemed as though he'd changed, clothing that is, and that in itself told the demon that this man had a sense of either hygiene, need for a change in look, or perhaps a reason to impress. He hadn't a clue what a creature like this entailed, but in his current skewed and hungry mindset he wouldn't have minded the last option.
Speaking of being hungry, it wasn't long before they found other life upon entering the city streets. It was so tempting. A shame even that he had to hold himself back for the sake of the other male and their intent to scout the area. It was looking in that direction just past Siere that allowed him to noticed the sudden reaction the other had when seeing the two figures. That was different, and much more sudden than the other moments where the man gained and lost sensory forms.
When he followed ahead, Dante closed the gap between them. "I don't know what kind your kind does exactly, but were you just eyeing those boys like a form of sustenance?" He questioned. "I wouldn't blame you, they looked delicious." There was a sense of lust that had begun to emanate from the incubus, something he couldn't help when his own mind was thinking about this question.
He knew that there were more pressing matters at hand right now, but boy was he curious. He wanted to know if this man had similar desires to his and he honestly wouldn't mind a little snack break. He was... distracted. Not enough that their main goal wasn't important, and he could be swayed back fairly easily, but distracted nonetheless.

Seimei relaxed a bit more now it was clear that the other wasn't planning anything. Sure he had followed them, but the feline had still been keeping it in mind. He smiled a bit even at the other, but the mood soon changed when they noticed the men at the other side of their street they were in. The nekomata immediately went back in defensive mode and kept an eye on them as they walked. The dubious duo only became more curious to Seimei when one of them seemed to change form for a moment, causing the feline to get in a more tense pose. If anything happened he would be ready to fight, run or jump aside at least.
The feline didn't like unknown people much, Yuki really had been an exception, mostly because the cat was curious to them cause of their armor. When the man changed back and the two seemed to go on their ways, Seimei relaxed a bit again and looked back at the other, whom he noticed was looking at him as well, causing their gazes to lock before the feline tilted his head a bit in wonder for a moment and then shrugged. "That was a strange man. But it looks like they move on." he said and then sighed a bit.
"I'm hungry too, why won't we go see if we can't find a place with food in these streets?" the feline asked. Usually he would stick to being by himself, but this one was interesting. If he wanted to know more, so if they could stick together for a bit, it would be in his benefit too. Even for companionship in an otherwise ripped world. "Maybe one place serves an actual meal, we can always check." Siemei moved his weight a bit and got set to walk back where they came from. Of course he didn't really need that meal for substance, he just liked the taste of it, his energy and feeding came from negative emotions. The feline waited long enough for Yuki to decide if they would join the feline or not, it wasn't like he was pressed for time.
