Tyiva's cheeks flushed as her finger's latched around Karo's hand, "We'll see about that." She replied quietly as she allowed Karo to lead her. Honestly she was already looking at one of the best things....the thought quickly resulted in another deep flush and Tyiva was thankful that Karo was looking forward and not at her companion. Despite being in Belrea, with city streets surrounding her and not the looming trees of Jahaur, Tyiva couldn't resist keeping her free hand near one of her blades. She knew the people here so far hadn't meant them harm, but her protective nature continued to press her to be on edge. The last thing she wanted was to let her guard down, especially if it could put Karo in danger as well.
Still it seemed that there would be no exciting fights or creatures to break through the buildings towards them tonight. Instead Tyiva found herself studying the large structure with curiosity, "People...bathe inside?" She asked with a slight frown. All of her life she had only ever ventured into rivers, streams or even natural springs of hot water on occasion. This....well this was completely new to her. It made her feel a bit antsy being placed inside one of the constrictive buildings, but thankfully she did not have to lower her head to avoid this doorway. It seemed that whoever designed the building wanted to give it height. Perhaps to let out more steam? Her taller Sisters probably would have had to duck but Tyiva found herself striding comfortably, well as comfortable as an Alkidike could be indoors, after Karo.
"I hope so as well." The less Belreans to stare at them the better. Not that Tyiva would really mind. She was used to bathing with her Sisters and never seemed to shy away when it came to simple tasks like cleaning one's body in a river. It was just tiring after a day of being gawked at by strangers. Karo perhaps not so much compared to herself, but Tyiva definitely stood out in a crowd. Thankfully a crowd of women seemed more than ready to leave especially when the Alkidike came into the room, "That's fortunate." She commented softly before glancing back towards Karo, "So do we just slip into the waters?"
She had never seen a pool like this before. It large and the stones perfectly put into place, a mosaic of different shades of blues and greens making up spiraling patterns along the floor outside of the bath. Tyiva tugged at the short teal blouse that rested above the leather leggings that she had acquired for their journey. Especially now that the bathhouse appeared mostly if not completely empty, Tyiva was more than willing to just prepare herself to slip into the warm waters.

“Well I mean you have to get undressed,” Karo frowned slightly, a growing blush spreading across her face. She’d bathed with other people before, but never with someone she actually liked. There had never been an issue before, everyone was born into the world naked and it was nothing. This felt awkwardly very intimate for the Oban. Tyiva and her were close but they’d never been this close before and Karo had never seen her without some clothing before. Still, it would do them well and there would be a few other people just as naked as they were who would also be there.
Karo continued through the halls until she reached a larger open area. There were shelves to one side where belongings had been left and the other wall held some chairs and other shelves with some other items that patrons might want. The furthest wall was open into a wooden deck area and beyond it was the large body of water. The palace entrance wasn’t too heavily steam dup, but where the water was, you could still see but it wasn’t as clear. Karo was thankful for that, many of the occupants in the water probably wouldn’t notice them that way.
Karo went to the shelves and placed her items on top before crossing and getting both of them a towel. She extended one to Tyiva. “We get undressed, and washed up over there where there are buckets of water and then wrap up the towels and head into the baths without.” To her knowledge Alkidikes didn’t really wear clothing so probably this awkwardness was only on her part. Karo didn’t want to show that such a little thing bothered her, so she went back to the selves where her items were and began undressing.
“Should be fun,” she said to Tyiva, but she couldn’t bare look at her and focused particularly hard on her task.

"Ah, okay." Tyiva nodded thoughtfully. Of course bathing would require undressing so why was Karo suddenly so flushed? Tyiva had bathed with her Sisters countless times before in Jahaur and had even teased Karo about it when they first met. Oh, OH. Things were slightly different between her and Karo, especially now. It wasn't exactly like bathing with her Alkidike sisters after all. Was that the reason that Karo seemed suddenly so different?
It was very steamy. Tyiva's antenna flicked in curiosity, their sensitive nature highly alerted by the change in the steam filled air. Was such a place truly safe? It was indoors and so far Belrea hadn't shown them any harm. Tyiva bit the inside of her cheek thoughtfully before taking the towel from Karo, "So this material is to protect us while we walk into....that?" Should she call it a spring or a...bath? Such a strange concept to place water inside a building instead of just enjoying what nature had to offer them. Perhaps in Jahaur where it was typically humid and hot the Alkidike had never considered needing warm water before. Was that why the earthlings did this? To help keep the waters at a pleasant temperature? She shrugged at the thought. Whatever the reasons, it was definitely something strange for her to experience.
Following Karo, Tyiva moved next to her and quickly slipped free from the restraints of her earthling clothing. Her tribal attire had been a bit too unusual, especially aboard the airship which had gotten chilly winds, and so she had swapped to more casual Sautian wear before they left to go overseas. Needless to say it was relieving to be feel the material fall from her shoulders. It looked like others had placed their clothing on those shelves so Tyiva followed suite. Reaching over Karo, in an attempt to be considerate of the shorter earthlings, Tyiva easily slipped her clothing into one of the shelves right above the Oban. Her arm brushed against Karo's shoulder, the touch of bare skin almost causing her to freeze, before she pulled away again in a smooth motion with a flush decorating her cheeks.
"Fun indeed. I'll see you at the giant pool of water for bathing." Her Alkidike accent clipping at the words, Tyiva opting to say pool of water over bath. Bathing was a verb, calling something a bath just seemed strange especially from her cultural perspective. Still, she moved to give Karo some space as she followed the earlier instructions. She had seen soap before and was thankful for the familiar object that she grab and begin scrubbing her skin with. Now that she was growing accustomed to the steam it did seem rather inviting and her body yearned for some relaxation. If she could ignore the walls then surely she could imagine that this was similar to the natural springs of hot water that she so loved back home.
Tyiva found herself at the edge of the giant pool of water. Slowly, ever so slowly, she allowed the towel to slip away from her body, "Karo?" The Alkidike warrior called out quietly into the steam before slipping into the warm waters with a light splash. It was definitely relaxing. Tyiva stretched out her legs and allowed the tension to leave her body. This was nice. She could spend time with her dear friend and refresh before they headed into the Belrean mountains tomorrow morning.
