CONTINUATION FROM SEBRAEL'S HISTORY
↳ There was little point in continuing to protect the lands and creatures of Ulysion. Juramae knew this long before the thought had ever struck his younger brother Sebrael. The older angel was always very protective of the younger and consistently made sure to not be the one to shake his faith, lest they both fall from the graces of God. The world had abandoned their god and in turn their god had abandoned them, it all made sense to the elder. Juramae was old, wise, and powerful. He knew firmly that the only thing in this world he could ever trust unconditionally was his brother and that is where he put all of his allegiance. Had God told them to do something and Sebrael disagreed, Juramae would also disagree regardless of his understandings.
When Sebrael had finally given up hope for their god, Juramae was not surprised. He always found his brother to be wise beyond his years and knew that the horrifying truth would not pass his brother forever. But being younger made Sebrael more daring, curious, and adventurous than Juramae could ever be. Eons of learning and being an obedient dog to a cruel tyrant of a god were now woven into the every fiber of Juramae's being. He held far more fear of freedom than his brother.
Godless and directionless, the two brothers were able to choose any life they wished. However fearing their own desires the two took refuge within Ulysion and continued their lives there. Juramae did not care whether they stayed or left. His place was with Sebrael wherever those whims would take him. He had never tried to persuade or dissuade his brothers thoughts, feelings, or actions. Juramae simply did as his brother wished, for as long as he wished.
Many years after the world above them ended, Sebrael posed an idea. To venture to the surface and see what the world had become and make a new life there. Why not? There was nothing stopping them. It was only when they emerged from the depths of the earth into the chaos of the planets surface, after they were faced with the cruelty of what humanity and non-humanity had become, did they realize they themselves had no idea what to do.
Sebrael, cunning as he was, formed a plan for his brother and himself, and Juramae followed him like the obedient soldier he is.
