In a dusty corner of the dance hall, Toki sits behind a desk (clearly filched from an unused classroom). A hastily-scribbled sign reads "PHOTOGRAPHS FOR SHINY OBJECTS". Beside it is a beat-up camera, hideously decorated in diamante. The whole thing looks incredibly suspicious.
There's a small photobook tucked away behind her. The label says "FOR PERSONAL USE". It's more than a little unsettling. Is she quietly keeping copies of people's photos for herself?

In the distance, she can hear people discussing "prom outfits" and whether they suit the medieval theme. Unnerved, she digs around under the table, pulling out what looks like a rug, and hastily drapes it over her shoulders. Seemingly satisfied, she turns back to face the dance hall.

Disproportionately pleased, Toki drapes the bracelet over one antler, where it is clearly not meant to be worn.
"A customer! And so quick, too!"
The camera makes a disturbing whirring sound, and almost instantly, the polaroid is dry and ready to go.
"Thank you for your patronage!"

Earrings had never really been Charmian's thing so she offered them up without even a hesitation. They were really quite shiny and would have looked amazing on someone who had more human-like ears. "Is this good enough? I'd love a memory to keep with me. And I sure am not that fond of these silly things."
Without waiting for Toki to take them she drops the earrings on the little table. Obviously she is trying to force the issue.

Toki snatches up the earrings. They both hang from the same antler, completely wasted on their new owner.
"So shiny! Today is a lucky day indeed!"
The camera whirs again, seemingly not long for this world, and another polaroid is spat out.
Tanita was holding a shining rock she'd found, that looked almost like a piece of pyrite. She was curious what pyrite was doing here, but pondered putting it somewhere safe. It might not be a REAL treasure, in her mind, when she saw the photographer's table. She glanced at Efreet, and gave him the gentlest of tugs. "Hey... Let's go get our photo taken. I can give here this." She showed him the rock, and started to head over.

Kane had been wandering around prom for a while now, almost desperate for fresh air but still trying his best to behave because he had promised his parents that he would go out and at least try to meet his peers. Still, he'd been trying and coming up almost empty for most of the night. Which he wasn't sure was a bad thing since for the most part he didn't even really want to be there.
He shuffled along and found a little corner, a bit surprised to find that there was a little table set up there. Another game, maybe? The boil glanced back toward where he knew most of the games were and dismissed the idea, then turned back to get a look at the little set-up for just a little bit longer before approaching. There was a rather harmless looking girl behind the desk, who he sort of just blinked at for a bit.
"Um..." he started to say, then eyed the camera and the sign and it kind of made sense. "Prom...souvenirs?"

Description: He looks like an average high school kid--a little lanky and with messy hair. He usually has a very small camera on him and a little notebook for taking notes, and is otherwise a very, very quiet kid. Another customer! Toki beckons him over, rattling (why does it rattle?) the camera invitingly (it is not an inviting sound.)
"My friend! Welcome! Would you like a photograph? Do you have anything..."

Aisha wandered close, curious about this little side set up. She was bopping to the music, as she always was if there was something playing, and swirled in her prom gown as she plucked up a shiny decoration.
With a smile she presented it, a sparkling snowflake on a string that had clearly fallen off of the decor.
"Winter is coming or something.." She laughed lightly, trying not to be in the way of anyone else.
"Winter! Indeed, what a medieval thing to experience!" Toki exclaims, forgetting that China is both an ancient and seasonal country. She wraps the snowflake, string and all, onto an antler, and now jingles with every movement.
The camera whirs and flashes. A few diamante gems fall out, and are quickly and surreptitiously swept away..
"Come back again! Remember to bring your friend - and most importantly, remember to bring something shiny!"

Her excitement was confusing but Kane walked over anyway, but slowly because this all looked a little sketchy. "Any...thing?" He eyes flicked to the sign and then he made an "o" shape with his mouth when he realized what she was asking for. The boil fumbled around in his pocket, the one that wasn't full of gold coins, and soon procured a very well-kept but non-working little pocketwatch. He'd found it while exploring the grounds quite some time ago, and while it wasn't a personal treasure he did rather like how it shined and shimmered very nicely in the light.
"Um...i-is this...good?"

The customer is nervous! Toki puts on her most reassuring expression.
She also puts on the pocket watch. Wrongly. It now bangs against her head every time she tries to talk.
"It most certainly is good, dear cust-- fellow student!"
The shutter clicks (it rattles), and the polaroid comes shooting out, skidding across the table.

He was a little sad to see the pocket go, but he didn't have that much time to lament the exchange. There was a sudden click and rattle and before he knew it he had a polaroid of him looking pretty stellar in his suit. He picked it up and flicked his eyes between the photo and the photographer, who he noticed put the pocketwatch on wrong (and he would have said as much, but couldn't get himself to say anything because she looked perfectly happy with all the stuff on her antlers), and then put the photo in his pocket.
"Th-thanks..." he managed to say, then gave her his best smile (which wasn't that good at all) before walking off to try and see what else he could do here at prom.
