(( This is what happened before Alpinely arrived at the prom's dance hall venue /and this puppy has more backlogged RPs to well RP ahaha >u<;;;;;;;; ))
Alpinely and Danirate: First Kiss on Prom Night
Alpinely thought it would be a rather complex hunt to see if she could catch Danirate somewhere. The last time she checked with him, he was still undecided about attending prom even though she suggested a number of possibilities to him such as being a stealthy participant in the festivities if that's what he would prefer to be on the occasion.
Luckily though, she caught sight of him surprisingly moving in the direction of the venue even if it was still some distance from the sighting's location. And wow, Alpinely had unconsciously held her breath at the sight of him with his hair stylishly combed back and dashingly attired in a get-up that was like his usual fare but undoubtedly different in a darker combo dominated by red and black.
"You look like you were on your way to drag me to the prom," Danirate addressed her with his usual composure as he led her with a gentle hold on the small of her back out of the walkway and beside a leafless tree on the sparse grass area.
The sudden widening of his smile to a toothy one lasted only a moment as he moved said hand up to lightly push her mouth closed from beneath her chin.
Alpinely grinned up at the taller vampire, ignoring her own blush as she mentally scrambled to keep coherent. "So, you are going to prom, aren't you?" she asked him and also curtsied like she had been practicing with him as she intended do so while mingling at prom. She actually ended up hopping a few times after that since she had stepped on the front edges of her dress in the process but at least didn't literally fall from a complete loss of balance.
"Yeah, I am; but do you want to have your first prom dance with me here instead?" Danirate asked as he, also like during the supposed practices with her, offered one hand to her while the other followed, moving from inside his pants' other pocket to behind him as he bowed his torso forward at a diagonal momentarily with his request for a dance.
"O-okay," Alpinely found herself pulled forward in slow motion a beat of a moment after her reply. And she also found herself wondering why so little time was passing yet she felt time seemed to have stopped at the same time.
The two of them swayed from side to side for some time, his hands at her waist and her hands on his shoulders. She let him seemingly move one of her arms to adjust into a more formal dancing arrangement like said aforementioned practices. He had actually given her more correct info about this at some point during the rehearsals so to speak, but at this time, Danirate let his palm meet hers the same way she had previously considered to have looked to be the proper hand position before his disclosure of what he had been taught was more formally correct.
She sent a curious gaze up to meet his eyes on her. And as she felt his fingers give way to her fingers weaving with his, she also felt him leaning closer to her.
And so, Alpinely's and Danirate's first kiss was at this moment on this prom night.
And that was followed by this happening: Alpinely was soundlessly stuttering for a second after this development.
"I-I should get to the prom venue first maybe," the once again blushing Alpinely finally managed to say.
"Alright," Danirate said in reply with a small smile of fond amusement since Alpinely had yet to ease her grip on his cape or untangle her fingers from his.
"I'll I'll see you there," Alpinely grinned widely with a lighter blush now as they slowly moved apart along with her being given his nod in agreement.
And thus, Alpinely did in fact eventually arrive at the official main prom venue from there and so did Danirate not long after her.
