Alejandro didn't much care for the actual dance so much as he cared about people watching but he didn't realize there was going to be games.

How could he resist them? He could be a bit competitive so it wouldn't be beyond him to want to wreck a game or two...

Did he say wreck? He meant win.

No, he meant wreck.

The vampire quietly lurked around the Pavilion and looked for things to do, or places where there weren't too many people in his way.

Alejandro loitered a bit around the white walker whacking game. It looked pretty fun to beat things with a mallet but it took him a moment, while alone, to finally get himself to step up.

"Don't know what a white walker is.." He murmured to the gnome almost inaudibly. Still, he wanted to hit it.

He took his mallet and poised at the ready as the began to pop up. The first was too fast and got missed, the second got a solid hit, the third too before the rest seemed to appear and disappear too much for him to manage to even glance. He ended up beating the empty spots with a fanged hiss until the gnome told him to stop.

"You won, kid!" Alejandro looked confused, as he'd done so badly, but accept his golden dragon prize anyway.

Alex moved along to the next booth, right beside the whacking one, where he saw small bows and targets. Lafe was always better with archery than he ever was but it didn't mean he didn't know how.

At the barker's urging he picked up a bow (it was a toy and made him frown) and with careful aim fired a steady shot.

"Not bad-" Said the gnome. Alex frowned.

He was bolstered by the fairly good introductory shot but perhaps he'd gotten over confident. Without spending nearly as much time on aiming he fired once more. He didn't even hit the rings this time and hissed as his arrow bonked harmlessly off the straw and fell into the grass.

The gnome's pained "Oooooo..." Was not encouraging.

Alex once more put a concerted effort into his shot. No more screwing around. The gnome was given a sharp look too, one that shut him up and had him holding his breath until the vampire teen was finished.

His arrow pinged and stuck, wobbling on an inner ring and the gnome let out his breath and laughed, "You win!"

Alex hung back a bit from the hay bail booth, curiously listening to th gnomes and Sludge argue. He wasn't familiar with them or what they were talking but about but it didn't seem too hard to go rooting around in some hay..

Except there was a lot of hay and he definitely underestimated that when he embarked on his hay bale searching.

Without much of a plan he dove right in and rooted around. Nothing. It was rough and scratchy and it smelled strange but he kept trying.

As the vampire emerged with nothing in hand, they stopped him from trying again.

"Only once.." The gnome said solemnly.

Alex was on his way back to the Whack A Walker (because that had been easy) and he was still picking hay out of his hair when the masked person grabbed him and whispered about trouble makers on the dance floor.

He didn't care much for dancing but he definitely could rough up some trouble makers.

What he wasn't expect to find was pigeons nor was he expecting that the red light shining on the disco ball would suddenly turn him into a dragon.

He was a dragon. HE WAS A DRAGON!

Thoughts of pigeons melted away as he leapt onto a square and roared!!

Until the color changed and he realized he'd never been a dragon at all on he was just yelling on an empty patch of floor.

The disco ball spun once more and as red light hit the dance floor again Alex felt himself swept up. He was a DRAGON!!

The square next to him was leapt upon and the pigeon who resided there made a surprised noise and flew off. There was a roar of victory right before the man in charge tugged him off.

His mind cleared and he was again embarassed about the dragon thing but he was handed a prize. Turned out he'd won.

Alejandro found himself back at the Whack a Walker. He'd been on his way when the strange pigeon man ambushed him but he made his way back again. There was nothing quite like smacking plastic monsters with a hammer to get the dragon out of your system.

The gnome gave him the hammer and snickered quietly as the young vampire smashed crazily at the table, missing on every singe hit except for the final to.

"Well it wasn't a good job," The gnome handed him a golden dragon, "But you won."

Alex drifted past the hay bale again but the gnomes were still arguing about the lost ring. Hadn't anyone found it yet?

He almost didn't offer, considering how they'd chased him off last time, but they were possibly getting more desperate the more time wore on.

The vampire boil once more stepped close and began to search. He started up to his elbows, rooting around, before again just diving in headlong to the hay bale. Again he emerged covered in hay, uncomfortable, and even sneezed once before they shook their heads at him and waved him off.

The masked figure once more ambushed Alex while he was picking hay off of himself. He continued to whisper how the feast was in danger and the vampire, not keen on being a dragon again, didn't really have the gumption to deny him regardless.

He was shoved towards the dance floor as the discoball spun and Alex froze and waited for the light to turn red and have him roaring... except it didn't happen. Instead as he hopped onto a square of floor, it turned green and revealed a pigeon right beside him.

The fanged boil leapt and scared it away! It was a success!

Alex, at this point, had gotten curious about the haystack group and drifted around one more time. They still stood there, arguing, until he stepped up. Having tried several times he was a little more comfortable drawing their attention.

"I'll try again.." He said low, before being waved on.

Unfortunately he hadn't changed his tactics in any way. Alex dove headlong into the hay bale and rooted around. When he emerged moments later he was grumpier, covered in hay anew, and still lacking the ring.

Alex actually rolled up his hoodie sleeves as he approached the Whack A Walker. He was determined to get more hits than he had any time previous. It seemed the vampire's own worst competition was himself.

As soon as the game began he seemed to have improved. Walkers were nailed in succession and he only stumbled a moment before landing another solid whack and the game ended.

"Winner!" Said the barker and handed him his dragon. He had, at the very least, gotten better.

Alejandro wasn't sure why he kept following the masked man to the dance floor. The pigeon chasing was fun, but the disco ball always did something weird..

He skirted the edge of the dance floor quietly, trying to peer through the lights to see where the pigeon minis pecked around. As soon as he took a step the disco ball went blue and very suddenly he was... a zombie.

An ice zombie. He was cold.. and he felt a strange need to raize the south.

He had to be pulled back before being told he'd actually won!

Alex drifted past the Whack-a-Walker after a healthy lap and a moment to regroup. He was ready, once more, to tackle the game and strive for a perfect score.

The gnome who ran it looked amused, "Ain't no perfect scores kid. You won every time already!"

Alex scowled and pushed up his hoodie sleeves as he went at it again. The first three walkers were deftly smashed, then he missed a couple before scoring one more hit. As the game ended, he'd definitely improved but it wasn't the perfect score he'd hoped for, even as he was handed his prize.
