These rules are set in place for a reason and they're easy to follow.
So, please keep these in mind when making a character and roleplaying.

Rule 1: Please follow the Gaia ToS! We'd rather not get in trouble and risk shutting this guild down because one couldn't follow them.
Rule 2: Violence will happen. It's inevitable, but please be subtle about it. No gruesome details. Some may be a fan of horror films and such, but we do not feel like reading someone's genitals being dismembered i.e
Rule 3: While Romance is encouraged, please keep your adult activities to a minimum in the rp. You may pm each other if you would like or add a time skip in the thread.
Rule 4: No god-modding. Please, do not auto-hit either. If you're planning some big even. IE: A public building bombing, a kidnapping, etc. Let one of us or those who it would effect know.
Rule 5: If you are going to be away for an extended period of time, let one of the modders and whoever your character is interacting with know. Post it in the Leave of Absence thread!
NOTE: Activity checks will be done on a timely basis to see who will stay or not.
Rule 6: Absolutely no text talk. We cannot express how much we frown upon that. For example: She wnt 2 the door n punched it 2 a mil pieces.
Rule 7: If you do not follow one of these rules, we will let you off with a three-strike warning system. If you proceed to break these rules, you will receive one strike. Once you get all three strikes, we hold the right to remove/ban you from the guild and kill your character off.
Rule 8: If you unexpectedly leave, we reserve the right to kill off your character.
Rule 9: If you're interacting with more than one other person, don't continue on without them unless they give the ok.
Rule 10: Please be active! We all know that feeling when we get really into posting and then someone disappears. It's saddening and we don't want that to happen. Posting at least 2 - 3 times a week may suffice.
Rule 11: As far as profile images, Artwork or Anime styled characters only. P.S. Try not to make too canon of a character.
Rule 12: Please do not advertise another RP whether it be guild or forum thread. I find it very rude. It would be like someone coming in and stealing your business pitch. Trying to get people away to join your thing. This is not a recruiting guild.
Rule 13: Do not force relationships. If you plot with someone and they have a history, cool. But don't expect everyone to instantly flirt or want to be with your character.
Rule 14: Limit one curse. We get that maybe you want your character to be a tragedy, but please. One curse per person, keep in mind that we have to read through it. Also that others will be interacting with them.
NOTE: There will be a limit for characters that have curses with similar aspects (e.g. demonic possession and multiple personalities). There will be a chance that you need to find another curse to expand your creativity (as long as there will still be limits and still adhering to the other rules). Please check out the Current Curses page to see which ones are taken for a better idea.
Rule 15: Please keep names realistic. This means that do not give characters inappropriate names, or names that generally people wouldn't have. Please keep them as realistic as possible. Any characters with inappropriate names will automatically be rejected.
Rule 16: Reserving posts before day change will start are allowed, but you may have up to six posts to reserve for each character, and keep in mind about Rule no. 9 a.k.a the posting order.
NOTE: The crew has the right to add or edit the rules as they seem fit.
