Afternoon found Dorianus at his assigned chore for this day, mucking out the runner stables. It wasn't a chore he liked, he much preferred when he was tasked with cleaning the healer quarters, and even when he got to help out there thanks to his craft. No, taking care of these beasts was not something he cared for.

Slinging the dirt out of the stall and into the wheelbarrow that was sitting in the opening. There was one another candidate he was supposed to be working with at these chore and he hadn't seen her quite yet. The name he had seen on the list with his had caused a twitch to occur on his brow but he figured he should give the girl a chance, they had only really run into one another once, even though it had not gone very well, or with them getting along.

Putting those matters aside, Dorianus went back to his work, slinging another load into the wheelbarrow. His thoughts went easily back to the hatching that he didn't impress in and, unlike the other candidates, he didn't seem to care about it. It wasn't the end of the world if he ended up being aged out and he couldn't seem to empathize or sympathize with the others, though he could pretend.
