Ever since Chiara had installed her dance battle equipment at Underworld, the club had been even more popular than before. Cerpin watched the crowd from his position on top of the stage with a pleased smile plastered across his face. The place was packed tonight, partially due to a very special guest that was to show. The Sultry Star himself, here to get a little attention from his adoring fans and to promote the dance battles. Cerpin still wasn't entirely sure what the relationship between Chiara and Zindel was.

"It's the moment you've been waiting for, the most popularly requested dance battler is here for your pleasure. Please welcome, the Sultry Star!" Cerpin motioned to the backstage area for the redblood to make his entrance. Cheers erupted from the crowd, a couple of beetles and flowers thrown at the stage. Zindel was certainly well known by now after all the Superstar promotional work.

"Just to make things interesting, let's wager a little gossip, eh? If Underworld beats you tonight, tell us the dirt on your quad life!" The purpleblood grinned, clearly stirring up a little celebrity gossip to grab at the crowd's attention. "What do you say?"

The moment he was called, Zindel strode out from the backstage, always willing for another chance to bathe in the spotlight. Partly because he was now known to the world as the Sultry Star, but also because hey-- Who would want to see his face? "Here I am, all for you, Underworldians!" He didn't think the name would catch on, but hey, it was funny, at least. He walked near Cerpin, stance more like a practiced pose before hearing Cerpin's words. His brow raised, only slightly entertained.

"What do I say?" Well, it wasn't like he had one, now that Elidae wasn't returning his mails and refused to see him ever, and Chiara was just as distant. "Of-freakin'-course, Cerpin! In turn-- You owe me something just as steamy." He winked, pushing some of his hair away from his face before, posing in his staple battle pose. The cheeky redblood gave the crowd a dazzling smile but the next second, Zindel was attacking, seeming a lot more confident in himself since their last battle. He pulled out his daggers, throwing several of them at Cerpin with a quick flick of his hand before pulling back and swaying with the music. His heels clicked unconsciously.

The daggers hurt when a couple of them stabbed into his thigh but Cerpin wasn't going to let Zindel's first attack take him out of commission. He side stepped the remaining bunch and pulled one out of his leg. He hadn't been planning on using blades but if that was what the redblood wanted, that's what he'd get. The rockstar watched the movement of Zindel's hips and tried to anticipate where the boy would dart to next.

"You know me, I'm all about steam. I'm steamy and dreamy." Cerpin prattled on with his cheesy sleazy pickup lines. The crowd was not particularly picky about the type of stupid misbehavior people displayed here as long as they were confident. Cerpin lurched forward into a charge at Zindel, throwing the dagger at the boy's midsection. He was careful not to aim anywhere near the guy's back for fear of triggering bad memories of their last battle.

"If you win, you can ask me anything you like, live in front of all these trolls!"

"Steamy and dreamy, huh!" Zindel commented, jumping smoothly out of the way when Cerpin charged but managing to get hit directly in his midsection. He could be fast, but it was hard to avoid direct hits like Cerpin seemed to be good at. Zindel twirled and dislodged the knife from his midsection, holding in a grunt as blood spilled a little from his side and he sucked in a sharp breath. The grin on his face spread wider, and with a flick of his wrist he sent another dagger Cerpin's way-- Only to use it as a distraction and dart toward the purpleblood, slamming a heeled shoe straight into his stomach and using it as a way to jump into the air, twirl, and land smoothly with a straight, practiced pose. "Sounds like a plan!"

The distraction worked perfectly and Cerpin was sent falling backwards from the impact of the kick, crashing into a part of the stage. The purpleblood grunted in pain and staggered up to his feet, rubbing his stomach with a pained look on his face. He wasn't feeling good at all from that attack. Stumbling forward, the boy lunged at Zindel.

It was not Zindel's fault what happened next but Cerpin's own over indulgence prior to the performance. "Blegh-" Cerpin fell forward on his knees and not-so-gracefully threw up a couple of sodas he'd downed earlier all over the redblood's pretty pretty shoes.

Holy s**t. Okay, Zindel had expected the fall. He just did not expect the purpleblood to charge, stumble, and fall to his knees and-- His shoes. Zindel tensed to an extreme degree, shoulders reaching his neck as his feet stumbled backwards, away from the goopy multicolored wash spilling from his mouth. Well, goodbye shoes he'd owned since aging. They'd been his lucky shoes, and now they were his yucky shoes. Zindel held back a gag. He looked down at Cerpin with an expression of mixed disgust, nervousness, and confusion. He had no idea what to do, especially on stage.
He sorta wanted to help, but he didn't want to get dirty, but he also didn't want to look like an a*****e to his fans/sponsor/CAMERA. So he braved the smell and the disgust. He reached over and, wearing an uncomfortable expression, he sorta... Reached over. Carefully. He didn't want another rainbow of colors exploding from his mouth. Yeah, yeah, it wasn't-- Wasn't like he hadn't smelled worse before!! Yeah?? Yeah. Y...eah...

"Ngh... 'm fine. C'mon, the show must go on." Cerpin took Zindel's outstretched hand and allowed the other boy to pull him to his feet. He was a little embarrassed at what had just happened but this was far from the first time he'd ever thrown up at Underworld before. He wiped at his mouth and took a few steps back to fall into stance again.

"Let's dance." He swayed to the music again, this time opting to stay close to Zindel as they circled around each other. Hopefully that would make it harder for the redblood to throw any more daggers. He reached forward to grab at the guy's waist and aimed a careful stomp on Zindel's dominant foot. It wouldn't break any bones or anything but it would weaken further kicks with any luck.

Zindel was cautious when the other wiped his mouth and said the show must go on. At this point, the show was probably just reeling from the soda on the floor, but Zindel wouldn't oppose. He avoided the soda goop, clicking his heels several times as he carefully spun around, feeling a little nauseated from the smell on his shoes. In avoiding the goop, Zindel allowed himself to get caught off guard. He was grabbed, stomped on. Zindel bit down a curse, shoving the other away from him but recuperating and stumbling backwards-- Straight into the goop. He slipped. And fell. Straight into the soda. Zindel groaned. This was enough of a disaster already.

"Oh my Gog-" Cerpin watched Zindel slip, trip and dip straight into the pile of gross on the ground. He couldn't help but laugh at the ridiculousness of what their dance battle had been reduced to. By now they were a comedy act rather than a heated battle between two beautiful bachelors. Somehow, the purpleblood didn't mind though. He didn't have a problem being the butt of a joke.

It was a good thing too since he reached to help Zindel up and slipped in the goop as well, landing on his hands and knees.

"Damn, we're really ******** this up, huh?" His upper body shook slightly from the laughter he was struggling to contain. The crowd continued to watch, awkwardly unsure whether or not to laugh or boo.

Zindel wanted to die. They were both in it now, both waddling in the goop and disgust of Cerpin's insides, the smell putrid and killer. Zindel offered the other an attempt at a smile before ultimately groaning and shaking his head. "I was going to try to fix it, but I fell. Then you fell. And now I think I need a sweep long bath." He attempted to get up, only to slip and fall again, this time on Cerpin's back, shoving the purpleblood directly into the vomit. Cursing under his breath, the redblood released a louder groan of frustration. He was good at taking things in stride. He was good at rolling with things. But. Vomit? On stage? Possibly being recorded? Falling several times into it? Yep. This was it. This was where his career died.

Cerpin had not anticpated Zindel bodyslamming him into the floor, even if it had been an accident. All of the air deflated out of the highblood and he let out a mixture of a squeak and a squawk while the two them miserably tried to get up and away from that portion of the floor. Ugh, this was so stupid. He was glad that he had more than enough beetles to buy a new version of this outfit later so he could toss these clothes and never deal with them again.

"Geez, Zin, I like being Shiny, not Slimy. Cut it out." Cerpin glared at his friend, obviously unhappy with the smears of gross on his palms and shirt. He wiped his hands on his pants and hobbled to his feet weakly. The crowd jeered at the two of them, clearly entertained (which was the goal he supposed) but in sort of a cruel mocking way.

"Oh ******** off, like none of you have never thrown up before!" He tossed a couple of grumpy words at the audience, half actually annoyed and half acting the part.

"You think I want to be in this?!" Zindel asked helplessly, gagging as he finally stood up and shuffled away from the horrible smell. Now he was covered in sticky, goopy soda and he could feel it running down his pants and seep into his favorite sash. Well, this sure warranted a reluctant clothes change. He was sure Chiara definitely had some sort of a camera somewhere on his person or in this very club, which meant he'd never hear the end of it. When the crowd began to jeer at them, the redblood rolled his eyes, unable to keep his irritation down. It was disgusting and sticky and he just wanted to get out of it.

"Hey, how would you feel if you fell in soda-goo?!" He sounded disgusted, but it was mostly to keep up the act. For a second, Zindel glanced at Cerpin-- He really wanted that question they'd offered at first, even if they were both covered in Cerpin's disgusting insides. Also, the now frazzled Cerpin was just a little cute. "The show must go on?" He echoed, throwing a sticky dagger at the purpleblood and giving him a mischievous smirk. It was obvious what he wanted.

"Right, right. Let's rock and roll-" He nodded back to Zindel as the redblood coaxed him to finish the fight. Cerpin was honestly not feeling great and knew he only had a little juice left in him. The purpleblood stretched his arms before falling into stance and running at Zindel as fast and hard as he could. Reaching to grab at the other boy's wrists, he pinned him to the side of the stage. It would keep the other troll from throwing more of those daggers but Cerpin failed to remember that Zindel's legs were still unrestrained and capable of another kick to his stomach.
