▐ ▐ DEUS EX MACHINA PERSONNEL FORM ▐ ▐
“It’s no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then.”
<< The Hunter >>
“It is better to be feared than loved.”
Name: Frederik “Feed” Roswell
Nicknames: Feed, Roswell, Hatter. Never Tweedledee or Dum
Feed gets his main nickname from the tattoos on his knuckles, the left stating "Feed" and the right stating "Drink" with the word "Me" tattooed on both palms and periodically renewed. People tended to find his choice of the word feed rather than eat somewhat amusing and remarkable, some used it sarcastically as a mockery of his absurd obsession. Roswell, rather obviously comes from his surname.
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Category:
Sun - Fred is very inclined towards violence by nature, prone to bouts of it without much warning. Spending a lot of his time before the island involved in crime, he is very easily capable of turning his skills and sneakiness to good use elsewhere. Learning to deal with a more formal form of authority will be harder for him but is certainly not impossible.
☀
Personality: Decadent, though not overly lazy, Fred is a very flamboyant and unusual man with an equally unusual sense of style. A self-proclaimed philosopher who thinks he has everything in life figured out, he enjoys reading and consistently tells himself that he is intellectually elevated above those who do not. As implied by this he is pretentious to a fault, with a strong thread of arrogance and pride running through his decisions and in a lot of situations limiting his life. This pride results in a man who breathes violence and cruelty after a lifetime of looking out for only himself, but who is also not stupid enough to use it against his own better interests. Most of what he does is centred around alleviating his boredom with the mantra “why not?” behind many ill-founded choices. Overall, unless you cross him in a very sensitive situation (for example burglarizing your house) he will primarily be pleasant and amiable. It is when paths cross in the wrong place that problems truly arise. He is exceedingly vain and focused primarily on the value of superficial things. He loves clothes, carnal satisfactions and carefully curating a specific image.
Despite his personality, he and his brother both enjoyed a very successful career carrying out organised crime jobs ranging from burglaries to deliveries. He is entirely capable of following orders when they come from on high. He won’t lash out against the people who keep him fed and paid unless pushed to do so.
<< The Weapon >>

Former Species of Weapon: Black Rabbit - Legion Demon - Black rabbits are born from the fear of both plague and plagues of animals such as rats or rabbits. He is essentially a legion demon.
Description: Myxie talks in many voices in unison but is one single entity with a capricious personality. Overall he is a complete nightmare to have in one's head.
Type of Weapon - Odachi He is a jet black Odachi, a rather ridiculously unwieldy weapon for someone used to using small flick knives, guns and other portable weapons. Its runes are a grey so faint it is almost dark, like a dying light
Gender: Hermaphroditic
Personality: Capricious and a bit temperamental, most of the time he is calm but sometimes he quite goes off the handle. His voice varies depending on what his tone is, sometimes female, sometimes male. He enjoys inflicting pain on others and encourages all forms of hedonism.
<< History and Reasons >>
“And if you go chasing rabbits, and you know you're going to fall.”
Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter?
Feed is a man without much attachment to anything, spending his whole life flitting from crime to crime, his time in prison spent watching television and networking with larcenists and ne'er do wells. He dipped into LSD use but would find himself weaned off of it every time he was imprisoned until he tripped into the much harder sort of drugs. After that it was an endless cycle of self-destruction which he didn't mind. The shadows came and went but they didn't bother him much, dismissed as simply a side effect of whatever excess he was into that week or as echoes of a rebellious conscience. It was only when he crossed an unspoken line and maimed his brother that he realised how far he’d gone and quit all drugs completely. It was too late to mend his relationship with his twin and people wouldn’t even believe him that he was clean.
When Deus made an offer to him of another life elsewhere, he had nothing left to lose and thought it would be as good as anything else to follow the white rabbit off to another Wonderland.
<< Character's History >>
Fred grew up in the UK, born to parents who had nothing to do with his upbringing and he was placed immediately into care. His only companion was his identical twin brother Tom who endured the foster care system with him. Some of the foster families were borderline abusive, frankly in it for the money and nothing else while others truly did care. Fred found the ones who cared harder than the ones who didn’t. For many of them, two boisterous young boys with a tendency towards delinquency were too much to handle and more than one family was forced through circumstance to send them on. He learned very quickly that no one was ever going to look out for them but themselves and that nothing persisted.
Eventually the two boys were adopted by an American family, taken to a whole other strange and new country, whisked away from the prior “bad influences” of their life. The family were staunchly Christian and believed they were giving two youngsters a chance to get on the right path. Both were forced to attend Christian schools, bible classes and an enormous amount of extra-curricular activity to try and raise them better. Fred hated every single moment of it, it no longer allowed access to the music, books or other hobbies he enjoyed and forced to deal with corporal punishment as his new parents were strong believers in the “To train up a child” philosophy of child care. He acted out relentlessly at any given opportunity he got and determinedly tried to do everything their new family told him not to. By the time, he was in his teens he’d managed to graduate from petty acts and got himself and his brother involved with organised crime. Things simply progressed on from there, the more his parents tried to bring him into line the more he acted out.
Eventually, when he was old enough to scrape together funds for Tom and himself, he ran away, moving into the very heart of New York to be nearer to the criminality he enjoyed. The two brothers were indistinguishable from one another in those days and it was very difficult to pin anything solidly on one or the other.
Weapon Ability
Gambler's Chance- A Thousand Enemies- Feed uses his charge which sends a strange buzzing haze of fear smog in the direction of the opponent, it harms on contact.
<< Appearance >>
“I'm afraid I can't explain myself, sir. Because I am not myself, you see?”
Physical Description: Design wise he is based upon -
[This design here]
[And this one here]
Eye Colour: Light blue but he wears red contacts a lot of the time because aesthetics are important.
Hair Colour/Style: Short, choppy and dyed very white fading to pink at the ends. Naturally dark.
Skin Colour:Light
Clothing Style/Colours:The most remarkable thing about Fred is that he is covered from head to toe in tattoos, all of them themed distinctly after wonderland, with the white rabbit in particular taking pride of place on his oft-exposed midriff, he has full sleeves, a full back piece and on his chest bears a large realistic heart tattoo with spreading veins twisted in and through all of his others. Most of the time he wears short or elbow length shirts to show off his tattoos but other than this dresses very elaborately, with a bit of a flamboyant flair. He really enjoys hats and can often be seen sporting various custom made hats and coats.
His favourite colours are dark reds, deep purples and monochrome, utilising plenty of card motifs, clock symbolism and other little nods to his favourite things. If he wears a suit it is painfully fancy. His hunter coat would likely resemble a cape.
He has a large scar on his face across his cheek and several more in various other places on his body from his lifestyle pre-island.
In build he is both very short and of middling build, with deceptively lean muscles under his outfit, very fit and used to plenty of exercise.
He might wear his scarf in a bow arrangement but I haven't decided yet.
