Solo Class: Sprint Test

The agility instructor has all of the participants line up at one side of YTMA’s gymnasium, and presses the play button on his portable jam blaster. The voice filtering through the loudspeakers explains that this test is a “beep test”, in which trolls must sprint to the opposite end of the gymnasium before an alarm sounds, and after every 10 beeps the pace will increase. The agility instructor pauses the tape to let you know that passing all 100 stages will mean a “pass” for the first class.

Mechanics
Roll 10D10. If a 1 is rolled, the sprint test is failed and you must re-roll. If no 1’s are rolled, your troll is considered to have passed all 10 rounds (100 lengths total) of the test and completes the exam.

Group Class: Relay Race

In a large, enclosed track the agility instructor passes out a relay baton to each group participating in the race. The rules are simple – one troll at a time will complete a stretch of the course and pass the baton until the last member of your team passes the finish line.

Mechanics
Find partners and create a group of 2+ trolls to complete this relay race! Pick your running order first to decide who will be running and who will be standing by. When you are ready to begin, the first running troll will roll 1D10 until they reach a cumulative sum of 30. Each time they roll 1D10 their teammates can cheer them on by rolling 1D4, which adds the sum of that roll to their running comrade’s posts. Once the first troll hits 30, the next troll in line becomes the runner and the previously running troll stands by – and so on. The cheering bonus does not carry over to new running trolls once the previous troll has reached 30. Once the final troll has passed 30 the race is considered to be won and the class is passed.

Punkie took the time to stretch, reaching her hand all the way to her toes and back again, really stretching out her muscles. She spent her time on it, making sure to slowly bend until she felt the burn. She was determined, determined to succeed, if not for her for the glory of her wonderful Messiahs.

The orangeblood felt a stitch in her side, and she quietly gave a prayer to the Messhaihs above for another burst of strength. It wasnt working tho. The stitch in her side sapped at her energy, taking her speed with it. She made it to the end, but not nearly fast enough, and took a knee, panting. What was with this stitch in her side? Had she been eating too many punkin pies as of late?

The juggalo took an enormous drink of water before attempting the sprint this time. She was determined to make it, determined to preform at her best for her dear, mirthful messiahs. She needed this, needed to do this, for her faith and for her goal to spread Juggaloism across all of Alternia. If she could sprint, then maybe she could save souls as well.

Punkie was getting upset. Why wasnt she able to do this?! Why was this giving her so much trouble?! The juggalo wanted to cry out, up, to the Messhaihas, asking them why, but they worked in mirthful ways. They would reveal the answer eventually, sometime, when they felt it was right. For the moment Punkie was left by herself, to continue her struggle and fight back tears that would ruin her makeup.

The wind whipped through the juggalo's hair as she sprinted with all her might. It was hard, to keep coming back and doing this, even if she had failed the time before. Each time she was understandably more exhausted, and tho she took breaks to catch her breath, it felt like nothing was working! The juggalo finally got to the finish line, once again too slow, but she got there.

It was just one step in front of the other, she could do this, couldnt she? The juggalo felt her chest constrict as she doubted herself for a minuite. Was she going down the wrong path? Was life trying to tell her something through this sprint through hell? With renewed gusto Punkie expelled these thoughts, and gave it her all, again, again and again.

She couldn't give up, she wouldn't give up! Never! No matter how much each loss hurt she refused. It was hard, sometimes, to keep up this level of determination, but it also felt rewarding. When she finally did manage to pass the relay race, well, she would be on top of the world, and wasnt that the whole reason for it anyway?

Punkie worked hard to get her determination back up. Each time she failed, it felt like she was hit with a bag of bricks. But she had to get up and try again. The juggalo ran, sprinted down the path, sweat streaming down her face and utterly destroying her make up. Finally, she passed the finish line, and smiled. She had made it in time, she was done.

The juggalo flopped to the ground, exhausted and so happy she had done it.

Sephos watched as Punkie ran back and forth, back and forth to the tone of the bell. He frowned (more than usual) as somehow she kept not making it. He hadn't understood the rules as explained - the trainer had decided to go into absurd detail - but Punkie made it seem pretty darn clear.

He walked over to her to check on her when she finally - successfully - completed her run. Her makeup was all messed up but she was breathing. He would have asked if she was ok, but the training troll was already shouting at him, and he felt it was best not to bother her.

All his watching, though, and ramblings through the woods, apparently paid off. How, he didn't know. But every time that bell dinged, he was there, at the other end, and running back again.

By the time he was through, he was breathing heavily, but he was a hearty guy.

Punkie watched open mouthed as Sephos seemed to just ACE the sprint, in one shot. She felt herself flush in both embarrassment at herself, and pride in her friend. The juggalo exclaimed as her friend seemed to pass the sprint test with ease. She gave him a pat on the back and a big grin. "Well i dont think your gonna have a single ******** problem with the next one, the goddamned relay race!" The juggalo exclaimed. "So do ya mind if i go first and get this s**t out of the way?" Punkie said hopeful. She wanted to make her friend proud as well.

Punkie pulled herself up from the ground where she had just tripped and frowned at her scuffed knees. She saw orangeblood start to appear but ignored it. She had to make Sephos proud! And the Messiahs and her lusus Carver, and herself as well. She wasn't gonna let this small trip-up get in her way!

Something was fueling Punkie's legs to go faster and harder than ever before. She would call it the gift of the Messiahs, but maybe it was just determination, or a second wind. Either way, she was on fire, going faster than she had even gone for her sprint test.

Sephos went back to the water crate, only for it to suddenly occur to him that Punkie might want something that wasn't water.

She drank Faygo.

It wasn't hard to find - Sephos didn't even think about the 'mirthful' in the name of the YTMA - And he picked up a few cans (various colors) of the flavored drink. It wasn't his thing, but if Punkie needed it he might as well set it up at the relay point, right?

That was practical.

The glitter of cans welcomed Punkie to the ending of her race... Just a little more.

Punkie grinned as her friend waved a few cans of her favorite beverage at her. Oh Faygo sounded so good right now. She should have been focusing on getting to those wonderful cans of beverage, but instead her mind went into faygo heaven, and the memory of the bubbling chemicals distracted her.
