The night of judgment had finally arrived. Flydra looked over her beautiful punkin one more time, misting it with a spray bottle to give it a nice shiny glint. She had carefully picked out the best fertilizer, sprinkled the best plant food and had arranged a strict lamp schedule to give it the exact amount of (artificial) sunlight that she could. Watering it had followed a similarly rigid schedule.

"Her punkin will be far inferior. How could prayer out do a biologically engineered and nurtured punkin like mine?" Flydra couldn't wait to see the disappointed look on Punkie's face when the juggalo arrived to see how poorly her's paled in comparison. Flydra even had a little '1st' place ribbon to attach to her own once they got the durability test out of the way. She waited in the front lawn of her hive, with her prize sitting on a table. This way she would see Punkie the moment she arrived!

It was a little embarrassing to admit just how much she was looking forward to seeing the orangeblood again but thankfully, she didn't have to.

i'll start us off with a battle roll in my next post, just wanted to give punkie a chance to say anything she wants before flydra attacks her

Punkie had grown her gourd with love and care, paying special attention to all details. She had sung holy songs to it, made sure it was in the place the most optimal sunlight, which was akin to putting her gourd down where the Messiahs could smile down and see her hard work. The gourd grew, and Punkie's plumpbiscuit beat for the vegetable. Her pride and joy. On the day, the planned and prepared for day, the juggalo painted her punkin just so, tucked it into a little blanket lined nest in her wagon, and made her way to the meeting point.

She approached the other girl, her usual smile on her face, but she could feel the energy in the air. This was a competition, a fight for her holy crusade, and she was ready. The juggalo nodded her head in greeting to the tealblood, and maneuvered her wagon next to the table.

"It begins." Flydra's eyes flashed wide open for a brief moment of excitement as she triggered a stopwatch to start and then tossed it on a table. She was going to time just how long it took to destroy that pretty shiny little punkin in her opponent's wagon. It was going to be a pin cushion by the time she was done with it. Or better yet, a soggy mess of seeds!

"I'll take a look at that now." The tealblood bent down to peer into the wagon before using a quick motion to completely tip the entire thing so Punkie's precious gourd would roll to the ground where the pathetic plant belonged. Faith could not grow anything superior to her carefully monitored and genetically engineered masterpiece!

To really drive the point home, stood up and towered over the punkin, raising her foot above it... Watching Punkie squirm was going to be such a delight!

Punkie's eyes widened as the tealblood attempted to smash her holy fruit. She had no choice, she had to body slam the higherblood to get her away from her precious gourd. Once her punkin was safe she held it in her arms, cradeling it lovingly. She looked at the tealblood, a smile that hinted insanity on her face. She seemed to howl, and she went at the other's punkin. She was gonna body slam that girl's gourd.

"You b***h." Flydra let out an audible gasp as Punkie crashed into her, knocking the gourd out of the tealblood's arms. It hit the ground roughly, snapping the stem and visibly bruising parts of the plant. The doctor let out an angry growl and yanked on the lowblood's arms violently, trying to rip them away from Punkie's own punkin. When this proved impossible, she activated something on her prosthetic arm and her knuckles transformed into needles of some kind.

She pulled her arm back and punched it straight into the orange flesh of the punkin, puncturing it with her syringes. It had a satisfying feeling in the moment but she realized too late that her hand was now temporarily stuck and she herself now vulnerable.

It would have been the perfect chance, it could have been the perfect chance, but Punkie? Her plumpbiscuit beat for more than just a tealblood's tantrums. She roared, or more like honked, in rage, and grabbed her punkin from the doctor's grasp, essentially freeing the other girl from her trap. "Dont you touch my goddamned gourd!" She spat, actually spitting at the other girl.

"You... spat on me." Flydra stated robotically but her face was shocked and her body, frozen. It was an incredible insult and she didn't know how to process it. An orangeblood, spitting on her, a tealblood as if it was a perfectly acceptable thing to do. Her skin felt like it was burning.

"You've been a very bad girl, Punkie." Her voice was cold but her eyes glinted like lightning as she eyed the juggalo, stalking towards her. This lowblood needed discipline and she was more than happy to give it to her.

Punkie could feel her eyes tint orange as her juggalo rage seemed to consume her. The tealblood would not see the end of this. All of the juggalo rage in the world would come crashing down, delivering a blow so pow-

Punkie was stopped mid thought. Did... Did Flydra just say "You've been a very bad girl, Punkie."? Sure, it was said in a cold, angry voice, but, at the same time, that line. Punkie tried to keep serious, but she was a juggalo, what can you expect. The orangeblood held her breath for a second, keeping it inside, before exploding with laughter. "Ba-bad little ******** girl?!" The juggalo said between bouts of laughter. "What a-what a goddamned thing to say!"

Punkie was cute when she laughed. Her eyes crinkled in a sincerely joyous way that was only accentuated by the face paint. But it was not enough to sway Flydra into calling off the fight. Her gourd was simply the best and science would triumph over any form of faith, witchcraft or other nonsensical 'belief'. Punkie's guard was down and while Flydra ought to feel embarrassed (she had been trying to intimidate, not entertain), she opted to take this chance to strike rather than dwell on it.

She lunged forward and the metallic fingers of her prosthetic hand dug into the grooves of Punkie's punkin, latching onto the holes she had punctured into it earlier.

"Yes. An adorable little-" her claws ripped at the gourd, "mother-" rip, "girl."

She tore her hands out of the punkin and flicked the orange muck off of her fingers onto the ground.

Punkie watched as her punkin was ripped apart. It left her with an odd feeling. Surprisingly she wasn't mad, she wasn't sad, but it left her in a state of euphoria. Sure, Flydra was able to kill her punkin which she had given so much love and admiration for, but at the same time, the tealblood was seeding the ground around the two of them. Seeds that would become little miracles all of their own being.

The juggalo let out a mad laugh, then snapped her mouth closed, gritting her teeth. Her smile was a little manic as she took up the remains of her own punkin and proceeded to break them apart, spreading the carnage around more. Flydra's punkin would win here, but it would stay in tact. Its seeds would not spread across the world with their corrupt, tainted seeds.

Punkie broke out into a mad grin, letting out a crazed laugh, and basically went berserk on her own punkin. It was a rare moment of honest actual fear for Flydra and she hurriedly scampered backwards. The orangeblood was too much of a wild card that she could not accurately predict or understand.

"Ah!" She yelped, slipping on the slimy orange goop on the ground. Flydra fell to the ground on her a** in a graceless way and curled around her gourd in terror.

Maybe juggalos weren't as harmless as she had initially thought! Waaah, where was Scorpa when she needed her?!

It wasn't enough tho, to let the tealblood have even one of the precious gourds. Sure, the girl had covered it in toxic science and fed it lies and untruths, but it was still, at its core, a punkin. It could not be allowed to seed, but it also was too good for the tealblood. It needed to be completely destroyed.

It needed to be burned.

The juggalo grabbed for the corrupt gourd. She would help it seek redemption. She would bring it into the dark carnival and let it reclaim its mirth.

"No! Don't!" Flydra's breath hitched as Punkie grabbed her gourd away from her with the glint of murder in her eyes. There was something utterly terrifying about a fanatic hell bent on destruction and she felt a tremor run through her as the juggalo began her demonic ritual.

"I won't let you!" She tried to grab at the orangeblood's waist to wrestle with her but it was no use. The tealblood slid right off of Punkie's arm and stumbled to catch herself. Flydra glared angrily at the lowblood. This was getting too far out of hand and she didn't like not being in control.

Punkie took the gourd into her arms, completely ignoring the tealblood and her attempts to stop the juggalo. She felt her fingers bite the flesh of the vegetable, felt the rage that the Messiahs give her course through her. She was past words, if she were to open her mouth only a scream straight from the holy ones themselves would come out.

She held it high above her head, holding it so it blocked out the glare of one of Alternia's moons. As her eyes filled with its orange glow, she froze. She, she couldn't do it. Not to such a precious punkin. It didn't choose this life, it wasn't the villain here.
