[PRP] Dainty Desert Discoveries [Akkira + Barius]

A hot gentle breeze blows over the dunes of the outskirts of Chittentown. Not too far from the city, but just far enough outside that plants and flora grew over the wasteland. The wind picking up small little waves of sand which float through the air. Amongst the dunes and the sand, Barius is slowly trudging through the dunes eyes wandering over the landscape. His goggles placed over his eyes, just in case a sandstorm picked up. That way his delicate troll eyes were protected. He is also carrying a shovel with him, which he uses as a walking stick to help make it easier to walk up some of the higher dunes. He knew this desert fairly well, but it still took him a while to get where he needed to go with his small legs. He wasn't going to stop though. A few days ago he had wandered out just to wander and had happened upon a new cactus he'd not added to his collection before. That's what he was on the hunt for. He could vaguely remember where they were it was just getting there. He was just hunting for his landmark.

The desert was fairly quiet today, other than the gentle wind blowing over. He supposed he was used to that though, that's why he enjoyed it out here. The marketplace in Chittentown was always bustling, and full of chatter as merchants talked to customers. Trolls talked to each other. He had gotten so used to living out in the desert with Panpapa that he was used to the quiet. Though if Panpapa found out he wandered out alone again, it wouldn't be quiet in his hive anymore. Just loud with chirping and grunting of Papa scolding him. He wondered if other places were this quiet though, but he imagined they weren't. Seeing as there is possibly more wildlife in those areas. Maybe even the great terror beasts his Panpapa spoke about. It filled him with wander and lust to journey out more, but he couldn't go too far from Panpapa. Papa still needed help. That's why he was happy just settling with wandering the desert wasteland and find more cactus friends for himself.

As he reached the top of a dune, in the distance he sees the oasis, a gentle small crossing his face. it was covered in palm trees and different types of flora. A colorful green patch in the middle of the desert.

Akkira hadn't really meant to make it such a huge trek through the desert that night. She just wanted some, quiet place to practice her new piece for her next show. Her audience had grown some in the last little while, she was becoming more well known amongst chittentown music goers. Because of this, she was determined to write a brand new song. As she plucked the strings of her guitar, she thought about the missed chance for the newest idol thing or whatever. She could have tried, but also... what would that have meant for the initiative? Autumn was up there, it would probably be bad to have two rebels up and in the limelight.

The redblood stretched her arms a bit. "He listen to this, tell me what you think!" She said to one of the ghosts she'd asked to come with her to the oasis so that she could find a way home. She cleared her throat and began strumming the guitar. After a few seconds of just guitar, Akkira began to hum and sing her new song.

The young troll trudges through the sand, but as he gets closer he hears the strumming of a guitar and then the voice of another. He perks up in surprise. he'd never expected to hear anyone while in the middle of the desert like this. for a second he hesitates for worry that he could interrupt, but he really wants to see where this voice is coming from. So, Barius trudges on getting closer to the oasis.

As he gets closer he slowly moves through the plants and then hides behind a palm tree. He peaks out from behind it to find where the voice is coming from. He sees the red blood, and stares at her a bit. She was dressed so strangely, another person who wears such long clothing in the desert. He supposed if she was comfortable though that's cool. He stands and listens mesmerized by her voice. Maybe if he actually introduces himself she wouldn't hurt him...she was a red blood and he met one other red blood and he seemed to be nice. He gulps softly and gently speaks up when she pauses. "U..Uuuh..Uhm y..You're voice..i..is gorgeous." he says softly, but slowly steps out from behind the tree to come into her view.
