The first level of Impel Down in which prisoners are kept. The level houses the least-infamous prisoners and contains a large forest of red trees. The leaves of the trees, known as Kenju (剣樹 bladed tree), are as sharp as blades, while the grass on the floor, the Haribarisō (針々草 needle grass), is as spiky as needles. Here, prisoners are forced to run through the forest while being chased by poisonous spiders and guards to experience all the pain from being cut from all directions. As a consequence of prisoners being forced through this forest, it is soaked in blood.

Prisoners sent here have a bounty of at least 15,000,000 and are sentenced for [ 7 ] days real time. At least [ 1 ] of those days must see one post, which the user types [ 200 ] words depicting the pain they've experienced. Either they can wait the time out and be released, bounty null'ed. Or they can attempt escape, requiring either [ 250 ] Strength or Power to break down the outer door leading outside. From there, they write a small description of [ 500 ] words on how they escaped and they're free to go.

However, if the breakout route is chosen, a marine of at least Lieutenant Junior Rank may respond and engage the criminal to place them back in their prison, restarting the process all over again from zero.

He had broken a large patch of the needle grass, making a clearing. Surely he was too powerful to be held in this level but here he was. The spiders avoided him, and the guards had all be captured and bundled together with their own cuffs and chains. He didn't allow the criminals to stay in this safe haven, they were evil. They were deserving of this torture. But he wasn't. He was a Hero. And he wanted what he wanted. Unsure of when the Warden would come, no doubt the video transponder snails had already recorded what the small boy had done. Not only to the beaten up guards, but to the bloodied mess of porcelain skin that lay to the far side of the clearing. A mass easily identifiable as himself, so why did he stand here with a new epidermis, and whoms body was it that lay disgruntled.

With a hand he would retrieve a den den mushi from one of the Guards and click it on. "OSHINO!" he shouted into the thing, ignoring any other words that came back through it. He didn't care, he was mad, he was upset and mad. Also a little hungry, and he couldn't eat poisonous spiders. "SHUT UP!" He howled at the clamoring guards asking to be freed. "SHUT UP!" He would shout once more into the transponder snail at the Guards looking to negotiate. "OSHINO!" He shouted once more to the snail. Escaping this level of Impel Down was childsplay, which was why powerful criminals would never be held here. He dropped the snail and while he wanted the voices on the other end to stop. The only way to do that was to crush the creature, and he wasn't that heartless. No, the child wasn't evil, his heart was just black.

"Is ... Is he not coming?"

Merlin looked to the secured guards, fear had left them, and in a way they felt sorry for the young boy. His eyes watering over. He tossed the key to the guards and began his walk toward the front of Impel Down.

"He ... He doesn't want me to be a Hero ..."

Marines stood aside as if to let him go. Or maybe his capture was just a formality for the rest of the world to see. Nevertheless, he bit his bottom lip until it bled, walking the length of the pier. His small feet caressed the wet cobblestone, his fists balling up in agony. it was never blood, he was just too young to realize how dumb he had been. Wanting to be a Marine like Crea, and all of the friends he had lost on the way. This Marine thing wasn't a game, and Oshino as well as Shio were not his family.

If they were, they would have came ... "But ... He was my ..." And with that, his cries erupted across the ocean waves, his eyes overcome with tears. Arms attempting to brush the water from his face, even though it didn't impede his vision. He fell onto all fours, frustrated at what was happening. Oshino never came. He would probably never come again, he had real children to care about. Riven, could have never really mattered.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

                                                                        [ E X I T ]
