"That's him! That's Xavier, he can sing and play the panflute! He's so talented, I just adore him." Amonee practically bounced in place, he was so happy to hear Calida say kind things about his moirail. Especially after all of the negative reviews thanks to the mustard mishaps. Nucleo was threatening to toss the bottle into the ocean if they didn't figure it out.

"Juice, yes, I'll grab that right away." The jadeblood hurried to grab the pitcher and a glass for the girl. She probably felt tired from a long day working her booth with all these ovens around. Though he also hadn't forgotten about that strange green flame he'd noticed earlier.

"Are you alright? You look a little flushed." Amonee put a hand to his chest in worry, unhappy at the thought of Calida working herself too hard. It was difficult to run a booth by yourself, that was why he'd collaborated with lots of his friends! Hopefully Caiden wasn't having a hard time managing Art Attack without him. The Nightly Blend would be fine with all of the clones though.

Amonee's energy and positive attitude made Calida excited too! Xavier sounded like such a great person and she really wanted to meet with him again. She accepted the glass and pitcher and poured herself some of the iced beverage before slowly sipping it until it was gone. She didn't talk much though as she thought of how to explain the fire power that she'd gained.

"Oh ummm!!!" the young greenblood set the pitcher and glass down. "Well, It's... sort of tough to explain," she brought her cold metal hands to her face. " when I'm surprised or scared, I catch on fire sometimes..... and you surprised me, so that happened... the fire doesn't hurt, I just get really hot and I need lots of water and stuff," she explained and smiled, "It's not your fault though you didn't know, it doesn't hurt me or anything. Actually, well, when I get scrapes or stuff like that it heals them up! but when nothing hurts it just sort of feels like I was standing by the oven too long...."

As Calida explained her unusual abilities, Amonee slowly stopped looking at the ingredients and turned to look the baker over with immense surprise. He had never heard of anything like this before in his life. He knew quite a few trolls with odd abilities, Nucleo being a prime example of that, but fire that didn't hurt was a first for him.

"That's amazing. Does it work on other people?" His eyes were bright and shining at the idea. What a truly wonderful power to have! On a planet so obsessed with war and violence, the mother grubs were still blessing the population with beautiful healing powers. The thought was very comforting and he offered his hand towards her, palm-side up.

"Would you be willing to try it on me? It sounds so interesting."

Cali was more than a little fond of having grabbed Amonee's attention so thoroughly. She couldn't help but feel more than a little proud of herself, she did like making a spectacle of herself once in a while. But it turned serious when Amonee offered his palm to her. "Hmm... I don't really... know how to control it too well." she admitted a bit sadly. "And if I try to use it on things other than myself, like mami, my arms just get really hot and burn things... it's good for keeping hot chocolate and cookies warm though!" she said with a giggle. At the same time Mami lifted her head out from under her wing when she heard her name being called. "So you might just get burned if I try....But it doesn't hurt me, I'm fireproof now!" that was definitely an exaggeration, but she was just a bit less affected by fire and heat than the average troll.

"but, umm...when I make enough money, I want to get special arms that might let me use my powers on other people better," To some extent, cali also wanted to find a way to weaponize her natural fire ability. if she could get those arms to have some sort of interchangeable... something, converters maybe? Perhaps she could use her fire for healing and attack. Calida touched one robotic hand to her other. She couldn't really feel the action, which sent a pang of sadness through her. She continued to smile for amonee, "I would like to at least be able to use it on my friends and people who work with me," They could probably spare a few minutes from the cupcakes to keep talking, though not too much longer.

"I had no idea they made such things. That's a wonderful idea, Calida." Amonee was clearly impressed at the idea of prosthetic arms that could channel the girl's power to bring healing and goodwill to others. He wished he could help her somehow but he was not exactly rolling in beetles himself. The jadeblood would think on the matter and figure something out later.

"Well, I hope you achieve that dream soon. It sounds lovely." He started to fuss over which cupcake wrappers to use. It had to be perfect for Xavier after all. The other boy was too important for this to go wrong in any form. Although, Amonee knew the other jadeblood would honestly be happy to receive anything, bless his biscuit. Hmmm... he'd go with these pretty silver ones.

"It just takes practice to get better at something. My... friend is like you and he's gotten a lot of control by using his skills every night!" The amount of control Nucleo had over both his clones and his coffee was truly amazing to the painter. He had no doubts that Calida would get to a similar level of power given a little time. She was already off to a great start!

"I'm not sure if there are... but I'm sure someone somewhere is good enough to make them for me." Calida was confident that there was a specialist out there somewhere who could get her what she wants. She skipped a bit to Amonees other side and looked over those wrappers.

"Thank you Amonee!" she chirped happily "I'm not sure how to practice my power, but I'll work on it," the young troll clapped her hands together. She felt elated in that moment, like she was filling with the happiest air in the world. "Okay, umm... we need to get your cupcakes in the oven if we're going to get these to your friend decorated. I really" She took the silver cupcake liners. "are these the ones you want?"

He nodded as Calida took the liners from him. He helped place them in the cupcake tray. They had made enough batter to make an entire batch of them in case anything went wrong with a few of them. Amonee briefly considered decorating more cakes for some of the other important trolls in his life but decided against it. This was a special moment between him and Xavier and he wanted to give it all his attention.

"Thanks again for all the help, Calida. This is really important to me and it's great to have someone who knows what they're doing around." He flushed and laughed. On his own, he probably would have made a mess of the kitchen. It wasn't that Amonee was totally stupid but he was definitely clumsy. And maybe a little careless. He picked up the bowl of batter and started measuring out cupfuls of it to fill the wrappers.

Stepping out of the way, he let her handle any other steps she deemed necessary to get these oven-ready.

"So... what is it that got you into baking?" He asked curiously. It was always interesting to hear people talk about their passions. He could certainly blab on and on about painting if given the chance. The same way Xavier mumbled dreamily about how to properly cut a crystal and Nucleo cozily droned on about different blends of coffee. Calida was bound to have some interesting stories to tell while they waited for the cakes to bake!
