"Forty one, forty two, forty three..." Polair counted each and every firework she gathered. Forty three, not enough, she needed more for her experiment. The seadweller had swam home to fetch a certain necklace she'd been too scared to try. Rianon gave it to her and now she was a wanted criminal.
If only she had gotten more details about it. Was it because of the metal? Usually you needed a license for such things and Polair always made sure to have her papers in order. Whatever, if she ever got the chance to ask then she would. Right now, there were more important matters to attend to.
Polair sat down after counting over and over, making sure that she had that number of fireworks. She "looked" at the necklace, feeling it against her pelm as she wondered what would happen. Her brain could fry and that was her best asset.
"Fireworks are a class of low explosive pyrotechnic devices used for aesthetic and entertainment purposes. What could possibly go wrong if I gather more?" She said to no one in particular. "Besides burns anyways."
Eh, she couldn't go blind so that was something that wouldn't happen again. "I could probably try to arrange them by color... But that will be harder than it looks."She would need a set of eyes for that. Maybe ask for help? The very thought of appearing weak made her shiver.
"There's that factor, but who would want to help arrange these by color-producing compounds?"
