Evie was slightly put off when Shinda didn't respond, she was probably tired. She looked tired, impossibly so. Her steps were heavy and fatigued, Evie could tell. Oh well, she sighed, and pulled her attention towards the people closer to her, Ciri and Yuki who were plotting something. She wanted in! Who knew Yuki could stoop to Evie's level, the winter witch had always thought the angel to be miss goody two shoes. That didn't last long though, just when she was about to jump into their convo with boat-full of ideas, they just stopped like that. Then both of their attentions were drawn towards the girl in the back that Evie never saw before. She was quite a looker, Evie admitted.
The uncomfortable churn in Evie's stomach returned two fold when Evie noticed the girl and Ciri were exchanging looks. The winter witch frowned, what was she feeling? She clenched her jaw and forced herself to look away. Why was she mad at seeing the two of them getting along? She was being irrational, that's what it was. Xerxes was playing around with her again. The stupid wraith, she thought. Her hands balling into fists on the desk. The searing cold was rising to her head, snowflakes were falling all around the winter witch, signaling the drastic change of her emotional state. She could barely hear Mr.Kaz introducing someone..She couldn't hear very well nor see. Her vision was clouded by blue fog, obscuring her vision. And in the distant recesses of her mind, she heard Xerxes laughing.

The door had opened again, and this time a man stepped through, there was a certain air of... feral-ness to him. He was biting his lips, Elizabeth didn't know how to interpret that gesture. Elizabeth pursed her lips, unsure how to proceed. Was this man a student? He was awfully old to be a student. Perhaps a teacher, then he was awfully late. Elizabeth tapped her foot, waiting for the man to start. It didn't take long for him to regain his senses and started to regard the class with a loud voice. He had introduced her to the students, clearing up Elizabeth's earlier assumption. So the man was truly the lecturer. Her eyes lit up, suddenly recalling a certain name from her list of lecturers employed by Videl. Kazima Dragunov. Or Mr.Dragunov. Russian, it would explain his distinct accent.
Before the blonde could ask Kazima anything, he had strode off to a piano. Her favorite instrument and leaned against it. There was no need for her to hog the class anymore, so she moved to the far back, leaning against a wall.
Wait.
Did he say he was going to play a song for me? Elizabeth had perfect memory, and it told her that he did in fact, said just that, much to her chagrin. Despite wishing she could drop inside a hole right now, she was curious what kind of song the teacher would play. Something from Beethoven perhaps? or maybe chopin's nocturne? That was her favorite. Her thoughts were interrupted by the sudden drop in temperature. It was starting to snow. Was this a part of the show? They were going extreme lengths to welcome a new teacher. Well, there goes Elizabeth's plan to politely decline the offer. They had clearly invested a nice sum into this play. So she crossed her arms, and waited patiently for Kazima to start playing.

Xerxes voice was booming in her mind, loud and incessant string of whispers at the back of her brain, calling for her to do things. She was tempted, very much so. Why did it hurt so much? Like a sudden pang in her chest, heavy and heart wrenching. That look the new girl sent Ciri, the way she flustered and turned her cheek. Evie gritted her teeth, seething.
'𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒐𝒖𝒕?' She murmured, Evie could her Ciri's distant voice. Evie snickered. '𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒐𝒖𝒕...' She repeated, licking her cracked lips. A flurry of snow weaved around the witch.
Something was on her shoulder... Someone... It was warm... She turned her head, a hand was on her shoulder, she followed the black sleeved arm and her eyes met Elizabeth's? Funny, she looked so much like Elsa. Who was Elsa? Her brain hurt. She knew an Elsa though, that much was certain and Elizabeth looked so much like the lady she adored from a movie. She was shaken from the haze finally when she heard singing. Or more accurately, Mr.Kaz's singing voice, but that wasn't important. Nope. What's important was the song.' Do you want to build a snowman?', oh that was Evie's jam.
Evie beamed at Elizabeth, nodding in thanks. She forgot why she was angry in the first place, Evie was never one to get peeved easily. She balanced on her chair, '𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐒 𝐁𝐔𝐈𝐋𝐃 𝐀 𝐒𝐍𝐎𝐖𝐌𝐀𝐍!' She all but screamed, striking a pose with her staff pointed upwards. The snow began to fall at a balanced rate, instead of piling the room. 'ᕼᗩ ᕼᗩ ᕼᗩ!' She laughed, gone was the malice from her voice, replaced by the usual joyful tune. Yuki had retreated beside Shinda, and Ciri was probably telling her to stop the ice, her lips were curled in a frown. No one stops the Ice! The witch laughed again taking joy in the fun and displeasure she was sowing. Oh boy she hadn't had this much fun since a week. Or two.
'Oh fine.' She relented upon hearing Ciri's tone. She flicked her wrist, and the snow surrounding Yuki melted before eventually evaporating. 'There you go, a nice anti-snow barrier for you, Yuki.' And only for Yuki, because everyone else can go freeze. HA HA HA! Shinda and the new kid didn't seem to mind the cold, though. That's good. More ice for everyone.

Elizabeth felt awkward, queasy and just all around uncomfortable. What song was this? Is this kids' music? Why are they singing kids' songs for her? What does this song have to do with her? Questions ran in her mind, brows furrowed. Kazima had started the projector, it displayed lyrics for the tune. It was catchy, she gave it that at least. Snowmen... Running around the halls...
Oh, her face shot up, finally realizing it had to do something with her nickname since college years.
The Ice queen? That was it?
No that wasn't it. There was something bigger at play here, but Elizabeth didn't ponder too long, the air in the room--despite the cheery song--was heavy and oppressive and it came from the girl in front. The rambunctious bundle of energy the swordwoman called Evie. From what Elizabeth gleaned from Ciri's admonishment, Evie was controlling the ice. A fantastic power if you asked Elizabeth. She could finally eat ice cream without having it melt if she had that power.
The air began to shift and the ice was coming in heavier, there was definitely something wrong. Elizabeth decided to act quick, she waddled through the snow, her heels were making it difficult to trudge through the layers of ice. Upon getting close enough to Evie, Elizabeth felt the air was noticeably colder there, she wasn't bothered that much by the cold but she had her limits and she was fast approaching hers by sticking this close to Evie. Daringly, she placed her hand on the ball-of-energy's shoulder and instantly the wind died down, and the temperature began to stabilize
She offered Evie a small smile, that seemed to calm her down with whatever was bothering her. Like a bug changing it's skin, Evie's emotions made a 180 degree turn, from dour to her joyful if not raucous self. Things were picking itself back up then. So Elizabeth waddled back to her wall, it was easier the second time now that Evie was calm. Elizabeth winced when a loud shrill voice filled the room. As calm as she could be... Elizabeth sighed, she watched on. Peculiarly, Kazima was literally making a snowman. She bit back a giggle. It was odd seeing a built man doing something so childish.
Elizabeth found herself singing along at some point until she came upon the next lyrics. 'Elsa.'
Oh, so that's why.

That was eventful.
Elizabeth decided mentally, she shook her head, pushing herself off the wall and paced towards Kazima, the snow in the room had melted and disappeared as quickly as it came. And the once busy room was left with only a handful of people. She took this chance to have a conversation with her fellow colleague and ask a few questions. Elizabeth watched as Evie walked out of the room with naught a skip in her step like she did this morning. It was painful to see someone acting so differently than they had earlier, too drastic of a change for Elizabeth's liking. Hopefully, all will be sorted soon. Fortunately, the girl-in-black had quickly made friends with the swords woman, they hit it off quite well and dare Elizabeth say it? Fit each other like a puzzle.
Elizabeth had never sought out companionship mainly because of her busy schedule during college. Would that change ? Perhaps, her parents were beginning to drill her for a mate. She winced, who even says ''mate'' anymore? Oh that's right, Miss Recluse, Elizabeth Richter. 'Are they going to be alright?' Elizabeth asked, gesturing at the open door. She was worried, that was obvious. Unstable super humans were always something to be get worked up on. The snowman Kazima built was still up, she had a feeling Evie left it for a reason.
