"Come come! This way!" she was being dragged along by a man his fingers were wrapped tight around her wrist as he led her through crowds of people dancing this way and that. The long braided tendril of rope trailing behind her waved wildly in the air, occasionally hitting unsuspecting dancers as she was tugged along. They stopped after a few minutes and the man would bend over breathing hard as she would look unphased, "Ne? What are we doin' here?" she questioned staring at a large tube that had a single door, "T...there!" he choked out pointing to the door, "Go." he'd state almost curtly, Ai would nod and easily skip forward, opening the door and stepping into a dark room. Ears perked up in utter alert as she would hear a strange whirring noise as she entered, the door closing shut behind her loudly and leaving her locked in the room, "Eep!" she squealed as she would turn around looking confused as the darkness became more encroaching. The sound of the bass booming wouldn't be able to overwhelm the quiet sounds of machinery working and then she'd feel movement under her. The jerking motion of the floor shoved upwards at first before slowly raising her up, the sound of something spraying reached her ears and she would duck in fear, "Ohmygosh." she squealed feeling afraid for her life as she would slowly see something opening up above her. Covering her head and ear she would shake and shiver up until the sound of the music graced her ears and the smell of crisp night time air. The platform would stop and she would find herself on a large spiraling tower by herself, other woman mimicked her on other towers leaving her to wonder what was going on. Treble lowered and the bass sounded louder as the tone of music changed, the woman parallel to her would notice Ai's fright and beckon her to stand up with a single hand gesture. Ai would stare at the woman before she would see the others start to dance, calls of excitement rang from down below, Dance! Dance! a group was looking towards her from the ground far below. Amber eyes widened in surprise as she would slowly take her stand to see not just the small group below were calling to her, it was a gigantic crowd of people.

The beat grew quicker and she would notice the women that were on top of the towers all dancing to the music that started. The resounding bass echoed around her and she would breath in before a large smile would grace her features as she would start to move. Legs spreading to widen her stance as she would let herself feel the rhythm of the song that played, as the bass faded and the softer beats escalated she would tense before she would start to move her body in time and start to mimic the woman parallel to her. Hips swaying from side to side as she would spin and play along the edges of the large tower without any fear in her body. Going as far as to hang off the edge once or twice before twisting her body to land back down and continue following the rhythm of the music as she would let her hips roll up while letting her fingers trail down the length of her torso and waist before dipping down and back up as light shined up from under her feet. Briefly it blinded her, but it would start to shift colors as she would continue to move to the beat of the music find herself more and more excited rather then tired. Smiling brightly as people clapped when the music slowly came to an end and she'd be bowing lightly before she would find herself being brought back down to the ground floor. Sweat pearled along her forehead and almost soothed her heated skin as she would find that the whole experience was absolutely exciting! Ai would easily open the door once she heard a sounding click to signal it was unlocked, people didn't swarm her or anything they just continued dancing to the new music playing while she would take to flicking off some of the sweat before joining into the crowd once again. Easily creating a small gap in people as she would reunite with the woman who had encouraged her to stand. The two would dance back to back as Ai would predict each of the woman's moves as she made them to look like they were almost in sync.

Mirrorball Island a place were people often go to party and act wild. Latch has never done such a thing but he enjoyed the music that played. The place was run by a couple of gangs of course this was all hidden from the public. Why was it that Latch knew about these gangs because like very stereotypical gang they were also racist. Trying to either kill him or kick him out if there were any witnesses. Still that had not stopped him from coming to this place, the gangs may be racist jerks but the music was still great. Just reaching to the island there was a soft ripple in the waves matching the rhythm of the whatever music was being played. The gangs knew what he looked like and would normally have someone watching the docks for marines or people of interest. Lucky for him he had already found a way to sneak in to the islands without being noticed. He even had his own spot where he just laid down in and listened to the music for hours. That's exactly what he would need after running away from that island with the girl. Did he really deserve to reward himself he had left the girl just to save his own tail but there would have been a risk if she came along with him. Being a mercenary marines may attack them or pirates, hell even their employees could betray them if they so wanted to. That wasn't the way a child should live their life...still no amount of arguing could justify his action. Latch clenched his fist before letting out a sigh. Sailing around the island he found a good spot to place his boat while he snuck in to the town. How you ask? Well like this. There had been a old sewer system that had been replaced with some new fancy one which Latch didn't know all too much about. The route he took had been cleaned up a bit since he took it quite often however he still had to crawl his way through it which wasn't as uncomfortable as one would think. There was probably a joke somewhere about the crocodile in the sewer but Latch couldn't think of any. Moving the sewer crater he would come out in to a dark alley. This was a good spot to listen to the music. Hidden from plain sight expect for those times were the mirrorball would shine at the direction of the alley however it didn't happen all too often and he could always run away like he had in the other town.

Having come to Mirrorball Island several hours ago, Vittoria was not pleased with her trip one bit. She hated the music as always and her contacts were their usual rude selves. Honestly how was one supposed to conduct crooked business when your associates were disrespectful troglodytes? It was a damn shame that they couldn't just handle their business with an ounce of professionalism. After all she was being nice enough to not seize their vessels out on the ocean and thereby cut into the profits further than the amount she squeezed from them. Was it too much to ask for a little damn courtesy when payday came? Apparently for these goons such a thing was too difficult for them to handle. A little strong arming and a small demonstration of her abilities however had gotten them to change their tune rather quickly. Even though her powers weren't really under control yet, turning somebody's favorite accessory into worthless ice cream was a pretty good way to get your point across. After convincing the ruffians that she'd turn them into chocolate next it wasn't too hard to get her money and despite having counted it in their office she was now recounting it within the confines of a dark empty ally just to be sure it was all there. However the loud noise coming from the removal of a grate caused her to quickly stuff the cash in her bag before readying herself for a fight. The biggest thought on her mind, wondering if the gang had double crossed her. Seeing that it was a crocodile man coming up out of the sewer she quipped, "Don't tell me, did somebody flush you down the loo?" When the light actually revealed her form Latch would be able to see that the woman was rather short, had tri-colored hair, and heterochromatic eyes. Her dress was stylized but bore no discernible markings. Thus it begged the question on what this tiny, non dangerous looking woman was doing all alone in this dark space.

No matter how much you clean out a sewer tunnel the stench will always stick to you. For him it didn't matter maybe he had done it one too many times and had messed up his sense of smell. One way or another he had a not so pleasant smell it sort of matched the alley so he didn't have to worry too much about being sniffed out. Maybe the alley had been too dark he had not seen the pink haired woman standing there with a bag. The sound of someone asking if he had been flushed down made him chuckle. Looking up the light shined to reveal the woman in the alley. "Not quite..." Latch put the crater back in it's place. Towering over the woman he was curious about her hair. Had she matched it with her multicolored eyes on purpose? It looked nice to say the least. "What are you doing in this alley? It is cleaner than most so maybe that's why" Latch asked. When he had heard the voice he had been a little spooked believing that it was one of the gang members. Instead it was just a random woman, could she have been a member maybe but they normally didn't accept women. 'If you are already racist why not be sexist while you at it' was there philosophy apparently. Taking a few steps away from the woman making sure to have a decent distance he sat down. Putting his head on the wall his hand tapped with the beat of the music. "Name is Latch, nice to meet chu I suppose" Latch wasn't really one for small talk he was sort of doing basic introduction things and just whatever was in his mind. None of which this woman had to listen to or answer especially this question. "What's in the bag of yours? A body?" Latch said jokingly.

She was still wary of the large reptilian man but relaxed a little since she'd never seen him around here before. Such a fact meant that he more than likely wasn't part of the gangs she been strong arming as of late. Though due to his size and just plain ol bigotry she did keep her guard up. Never could really trust strange men in a dark alley, let alone large reptilian ones. "Though it's not as if I need to tell someone like you, my bag contains makeup and some feminine products." Though by feminine products she meant her marine badge, some cash, and a knife or two rather than any sort of item used for hygiene. Those were really just details in the end, details that Latch didn't need to know about. "Since you were polite enough to tell me your name I suppose I can tell you that around here I'm known as Trinity." It was obviously a nickname of sorts, the hidden truth behind it was that Vittoria never used her real name when working with criminals. One part of that was a safety precaution and the other was because they tended to respect you more when an easy to remember name could be pounded into their thick skulls. It occurred to her at this point that she'd never answered the question about why she was actually in said alley. It was also apparent that she had no reason to tell the man such a thing since it was looking more and more like he was an outsider or some sorts. "You honestly probably wouldn't believe me if I told you why I was here, but then it's also probably far less interesting than why you're skulking around and emerging from the sewer in quite a stereotypical fashion.

'Someone like you?' Was she referring to him having coming from the sewer or was she talking about him as a crocodile person. There was racism in the world but he shouldn't assume the worst, a lot of bad things happen because a simple misunderstanding. "Feminine products? You wouldn't happen to have perfume on ya?" Why Latch himself couldn't check how he smelled he knew that sewer smell wasn't all to pleasant. There was an abandoned building that had a working shower but it would be rude to just leave the woman while they were having a conversation. Trinity was her name. It was probably a code name maybe it would have been smart for him to do the same he hadn't thought of it. The name Trinity rang a bell he heard from a few of gang members passing by that she had been one of their contacts he didn't know exactly what she did for them but... any relation with the gangs meant there was going to be trouble with him being around her. Latch no longer relaxing and listening to the music he would stand up and have his back against the wall. If things went wrong he could simply climb the wall and run away. When she didn't explain why she had been in the alley and seem to wonder why he had come out from the sewer a wave of relief washed over him. "Not allowed here by some certain people so I have to always sneak in just to listen the music that plays" Latch admitted it didn't occur to him that she could have been acting clueless on purpose. There had always been this trust he gave people maybe because he wanted to find someone who actually deserved that trust and showed him that not all humans were bigoted or racist. "Ack" Latch said stumbling forward, a lose tile from the wall fell on his back normally it wouldn't have hurt at all, and falling down to the ground. The disco ball once again shined a light in the alley to reveal that his clothing had rips in the back. Three holes next to each other in different places on his back while the wounds in each hole weren't bleeding he clearly hadn't gotten any medical attention. Pushing himself back up, he tried to keep his breathing steady as he laid his back against a wall.

"No I'm afraid I wouldn't, though it would be a very dishonest lie were I to say you didn't need it." His stench was actually rather dreadful when she stopped to smell it. Hopefully it was because of the sewer crawling and not because all crocodile men simply smelled that way. Though if they lived in swamps like their animal counterparts that really wouldn't be too shocking as far as she was concerned. If it was so, Vittoria would scarcely wish to associate with one again.

His stated reason for the aforementioned sewer crawl seemed quite silly but then she'd seen people do worse things for even poorer reasons so it wasn't as if she really cared all that much. The tidbit that he wasn't wanted here was interesting however. Perhaps he'd be worth some extra money if she turned him over to the "authorities" on the island. Hell the idea of getting a purse or perhaps boots out of it seemed quite nice too. Although going through with such a thing would require a little bit more substantive information before she'd attack a random stranger. If he was just a nobody with a debt problem or something his death probably wouldn't even be worth it.

The sudden stumble, cry of pain, and the crashing of a tile to the ground clued the young woman in on what had just happened. What a s**t hole, I really need to find better crooks to extort. If this is the kind of upkeep these people can maintain than I scarcely think I'll find them of value for very long. While her arrangement with the gangs had produced a nice bit of extra pocket money perhaps their usefulness was running out. Indeed, maybe a sweep from the Marines was in order soon. "You don't look all that well, are the sewers here really so bad?" she joked knowing full well that he'd just been hit.

"Haha...yeah I thought so. Do apologize for my smell. Maybe there is a less stinky way of sneaking in to this island" For having done this for the past eight years of his life, sneaking in, you would think he would have a better way to sneak on to the island besides the sewers. There were but those were usually more dangerous there had been a event that had caused the gangs to hate him even more. Which didn't have to do with race. One passage that he had found had actually been a secret trade route the gangs used to trade slaves for beli. The slaves were probably people who couldn't pay off their debt or people who got too drunk. The deal would be interrupted by Latch who for the first time of him sneaking by would attack them. That was when they had realized that he would actually be a problem if he decided to try and attack them. Believing he was aggrrsssive by nature even though all his previous actions had shown otherwise. Literally he would always run away when they confronted him the worst he had done was shove them before they had done that single encounter. Honestly the town was as nice as it seemed there were a lot of dirty business happening hidden from the public. Unknown to Latch the sound of footsteps would be getting closer to their area a group from one of the gangs were coming to jump the woman who kept giving them horrible deals but because of how strong she was they weren't able to do much. They believed a surprise attack would give them the edge after all she was only a woman. Latch was too busy talking to this woman to pay attention to such a subtle detail. This woman was quite the jokester, a lot of people would had found it rude to joke about someone who was in pain but he didn't mind. It helped keep his mind off the pain. "Wasn't the sewer...had a town run me out....there is sort of pattern in what is happening to me. Guess most people don't like me must be the smell" Latch made a quick joke on his expense. Standing back up he decided he would go and take a quick shower seeing how he should try and rest up a bit before heading off back in to sea. He had a few contacts around the area that wouldn't mind giving him a place to sleep for at least a day. "If you don't mind me asking. Had your eyes and hair always been that color? It's unique and looks nice on you" Now it was kind of funny that the crocodile was questioning the woman and the way she looked. To be fair Latch had always been a crocodile so it wasn't weird for him it's just you normally don't see many minkman away from where their home island. At least that is what he thought he was. Most people he talked to said minkman were furry creatures but he was a reptile and not a fish so he wasn't a fish man either. So Latch didn't really know what he was these thoughts had kept him up at night, not out of fear but curiosity.

"Well it was nice meeting you I've got to get going" Latch would say heading towards the street but suddenly a group of armed, purely melee weapons, men had appeared from around the corner making Latch take a few steps back. "Look who we have here. Latch long time no see. Thought we kept you out of here for good. Heard people talking about a seeing a giant shadow in alley's always believe it was you" One of guys would say looking at their contact. "Trinity what are you doing with him?" Her answer to that question would dictate how the next few events would go. If she choose to stand by him then the gang would have no choice but try to fight them both after calling for some backup. If she however choose to betray Latch they would expect her to take Latch down with him which wouldn't be hard considering his current condition. In fact they would be inclined to keeping the deal they had seeing how she helped them and give her a reward for helping them. The choice was hers. The gang themselves believed that she would go along with him so they blocked Latch's escape to the street and they continued to push forward while he started to move back. His back was against a wall he could try to climb it to escape but the wall itself didn't seem all to sturdy it was possible for him to fall back down.

The sound of footsteps caught her attention, a small group it seemed. Could be locals, or it could be gang members from her business dealings. She'd need to monitor that situation closely lest it get out of control. It wouldn't surprise her if they weren't happy about earlier, after all their relationship was fairly fresh and such things often had kinks that needed to be worked out. In this case working things out meant beating the living daylights out of whatever thugs they happened to send her way. It's not like they were her friends either so there would nothing held back in such an occurrence. In all likelihood she'd simply kill anyone they sent after her as a warning to not trifle with her. Before all of that would become an incipient problem however there was still some time to chat and apparently the gator man actually a question about her that could be freely answered. "I appreciate the compliment, and yes these colors are in fact what I was born with. A rare rather occurrence among us humans I'm told, but then I am also not an average human so perhaps it's to be expected that I'd carry rare features." After answering Vittoria could hear the foot steps growing closer, soon she'd know for sure who was coming.

Watching Latch get cornered was actually rather amusing to the ill moraled marine, it reminded her of the fox hunts her father used to take her on. Apparently they really didn't like seeing him around here, that made her a tad curious as to why they hated the man so much but then that was simply curiosity rather than a real care. It didn't really even warrant a question on te topic. "A chance encounter on my way to the docks. I stopped to fix my hair when he slithered up to me out of nowhere. Though if you don't mind I'll let you handle your own business." After saying as much Mirin stepped up to walk past the interloping group but if they didn't move for her she wouldn't hesitant to attack them.

Had that been a compliment, he suppose it was he had really just been saying what was in his mind. So the colors were natural however they seem to be rare among humans. Which seemed about right he had yet to see any human with different colored hair or eyes. Or any other species for that matter. In fact he had yet to see a crocodile minkman in his trip around the blues. Maybe they were past the grandline that would be something he would have to check at one point as soon as his parents had a stable place to live in. With enough medicine and maybe a care taker. How much would one of those cost even. When the gang started to push him back he noticed the small chatter they had with the woman. So she wouldn't help him which he honestly didn't expect however she didn't turn on him either deciding to just leave the area. That was good he wouldn't want to beat up a lady who he got to talk to. When the gang charged forward believing that Latch wouldn't fight back, since he had been retreating, they would find that conclusion wrong. The reason for his retreat was to see if the wall would be able to hold him without crumbling however it had been too easy for him to sink his claws in to the wall, it would just fall apart if he tried. Which left the only option but fight them. As all eight men charged at him swinging their weapons at his legs, arms, chest, and head. Latch spun and smacked their weapons away with his tail, there was enough force in the swing to make most of the men stumble and fall down. Looking embarrassed they all stood up but instead charged in waves of two so they wouldn't all be stopped at once. So instead of being pushed away Latch would block one of person's swing with the bat using his bare arm and grabbed the other. Slamming the person he grabbed to the other until the last two were grabbed and slammed in to the pile of men. Latch used this moment of them being dazed to run from the alley. There were bruises on his arms where he had taken the hit but otherwise was fine. One of the conscious member of the gang would yell to Vittoria. "Catch that god damn lizard and we will pay you half of what he is worth. He is a mercenary so it may be possible to get a small payment for turning him...Trinity do it or ours deals are off!" The man had no real control over the gangs however if he reported to his higher ups they wouldn't like an ally not helping them. He even took out a small responder snail telling them about Latch and to make sure to alert everyone about him.

Latch knew that the guards around the island would be alert of his presence and the best thing he could do at the moment is try to keep hidden. However he was the only non human in the entire island and stood out like a sore thumb. Hearing some people yell at him he would rush inside a warehouse to try and keep hidden behind some boxes. The guards entered the warehouse and started to call out for him. "YOU LIZARD b*****d COME OUT HERE!" One would yell while the other added. "We have done some research on you. We know you are a mercenary and a lot of information about you" The other one would continue before saying something that would send chills down his spine. "We know you live with two humans! If you don't come out we don't know what might happen to them" Them having investigated Latch so much made it seem like it wasn't simple racism that caused them to come after him. He sort of messed with their business as they would normally sell humans off to slavery that was were most of their profits came from. However their ships kept being attacked, none of the crew died, but all the slaves were set free. Latch had sort of brought it upon himself to help the people they were kidnapping. The first time he had stopped them was an accident but knowing what they were doing he felt his conscious telling him to put a stop to them even if it was something minor. However to them it wasn't minor they weren't able to pay for their weapons nor pay their employees. It was also why Vittoria had been paid kind of poorly. They just couldn't afford it.

As Vittoria walked past the charging men she just smirked while thinking about how this all might go down. There were of course more of them than their target but it was a bunch of low class idiots versus a monster. With no tactics and probably little to now skills to speak of she was sure that the gator man would be fine or at least wouldn't die to them. Soon she could hear the sounds of pummeling as the fight broke out shortly before she caught sight of Latch running away over her shoulder. However At the sound of one of the barely conscious men making demands of her the woman stopped walking away and turned back toward the alley. "Is that so darling?" she mused out loud while reaching for her pistol. The sound of boots clacking against the street was only interrupted by the cocking of a hammer. However instead of immediately running after Latch she put a round in the head of one of the still conscious men. "What the hell are you doing Trinity" the man whom had called out before yelled at her. Instead of answering just yet she simply popped another one of his compatriots. "You crazy b***h!" Mismatched eyes narrowed in on the man as she loaded her pistol yet again. "If you must know, I don't like taking orders from the help. Well that and I'm not happy with our current arrangement. You see it seems like we aren't going to have a profitable relationship and since that's the case you would all look great on my service jacket." With her verdict delivered she shot the conscious one in the leg so that he couldn't go anywhere. Why wouldn't Vittoria just end his life outright? Well having grown tired of not being able to present her real self around the marines these men were going to serve as an outlet for it. To that end she wanted him to watch while she ended the life of his fellow gang members. Latch had spared their lives but she wasn't so kind. In the end the final gang member was whimpering and sniveling as he tried to crawl away from her and his deceased compatriots. "Tsk tsk, where do you think you are going Dan?" Her voice was filled with a mocking tone as she holstered her pistol and raised her hand into the shape of a gun. At which point the man on the ground began to laugh at her, "You really are a crazy c**t Trinity. You know that?" Following his taunt ice cream began to form around the two fingers that made up the barrel of her hand pistol. In a matter of seconds the tasty dessert took the form of a bullet with strawberry rifling. "Hmm I'm afraid you appear to be wrong about the crazy part. I'm quite sane you see." Before Dan could reply she fired off the tasty round into his forehead. With a satisfied grin she watched as his brains splattered out behind his skull.

With that goon squad dealt with she supposed it might be time to go find Latch. The man was clearly a capable fighter and perhaps he could assist her in ridding the island of its criminal elements. Finding him would be a chore but at least she could simply follow the screams from scared civies. The sounds painted a pretty clear idea of where the man was headed. Eventually the screams of random passerbys subsided and were replaced by the shouts of more gang members. Apparently they had the reptilian fugitive cornered inside some kind of warehouse. Slowly approaching the unaware men she raised her hand like a gun again and this time fired off several ice cream bullets one after another in quick succession. Unlike an actual gun these bullets were propelled by telekinesis so there was no bang, flash, or pop of smoke. To the gang members it would see as if several of their comrades' heads spontaneously exploded outward. Such a sight, the faces of people you know exploding outwards, was probably enough to sow confusion at which point Vittoria switched to her real sidearm to keep shooting since using her fruit was taking a toll on her energy reserves. The crackle of gunfire that came off her pistol soon alerted the others to where the threat was coming from and of course it did little to diminish their surprise. "Tri... Trinity!? What the hell are you doing?" one of them called out. "Enacting justice against your crimes. Wow that sounded really dramatic, was that too serious?" Some more shots rang out while she didn't wait for an answer. "Either way, as a marine I've decided that now is a good time to put a stop to your operation." By this point a few of them had mounted a counter attack and charged in close to her with knives and the like. However she was faster than they were and more experienced too, thus with a cool head she slowly picked them off one by one as they came at her. Suddenly standing all alone on an empty street save for the corpses Vittoria called out to Latch. "Lizard man, it's safe to come out now so you can stop cowering in there."

Latch

The door would creak openining slightly before Latch opened completely seeing how it was the woman from before. Maybe he was too trusting but the smell of blood had made him worried and curious of what had happen outside. He had heard gun shots from inside the warehouse they had pretty thin walls. Probably because people working in the warehouse wanted to listen the music of the town which seem to have gone eerily silent. It seemed like the scene he had come out to was one filled with murder and...ice cream? Or maybe it was just ice or snow. That would still be weird considering the island hardly ever snowed or got cold. It stayed a warm temptature letting people party without overheating or freezing to death. "Was not cowering. Been taught to only resort to violence when need be" Latch would say pulling out two men who seemed to have a iron pole bent around them like a rope. Both men were passed out with a bruise on their cheeks. The tone in Latch's voice seemed very annoyed, he didn't like to be called a coward. Because he wasn't one if he wanted to he could easily fight everyone that had passed by him. However he just chose not to at least not he didn't choose to do it anymore. "...did you have to kill them? Why not just tie them up?" Latch said looking a little pitiful for the corpses of the gang members. The two tied up members would have been freaked out if they were awake but they weren't. He didn't know why he bought the members outside he wasn't going to do anything with them. It's not like they had a bounty he could turn them in for they were just faceless goons. So what was it that had happen in that storage room? Well after hearing about them knowing his parents whereabouts he quickly gave them the one two before they passed out he tied them. If just two goons knew about it then that meant the gang might actually try something. He had to stop them right here right now before things got worse for his parents.

It didn't take long for the croc man to come out and apparently with guests in tow. Vittoria found the sight quite displeasing in addition to his attitude about avoiding violence. This world required violence to get anything done. In her opinion the entirety of the world government was founded upon violence and by the same token much of the world. From the world nobles who treated other humans as their play things to the most basic of low class pirate. They all resorted to, and employed violence as a means of maintaining power. Without power one might as well be an insect.

"I don't carry enough handcuffs for that sort of thing Latch. In addition to that fighting to not kill them requires much more time and effort. It's a fools errand. Take the ones you left alive back at the alley, what's to say that if they woke up they wouldn't hunt you or your loved ones down for revenge?" Despite her primary motive for killing them simply being not leaving a trail to herself there were ample reasons to simply execute the gang members rather than take them in alive. Hopefully the reptilian man before her would come to realize such a fact as well. Vittoria had little patience for idealists and their refusal to get the job done if it meant shedding some blood. "Besides breaking the law is a death penalty any way. If I brought them in alive, they'd probably just be hung until dead. At any rate I'm going to put a stop to the illegal activities going on here and I wouldn't mind your assistance since you have a personal stake in the matter, but I won't tolerate you interfering with how I handle things."

Latch
Str: 40 // End: 35 // Spd: 10 // // Acc: 0 // Int: 5

Latch looked at the two goons that he had taken out he did feel a bit of pity for how they turned out. He had let his anger control him now these two were badly beaten up. They would live but still his parents wouldn't be proud. Controlling his emotions was the first thing they taught him seeing how he used to be such an aggressive little crocodile. The teasing of children was probably why he would never mention because he didn't want his parents to worry about him. When she mentioned how it was more time and effort to take them down alive. When she mentioned a scenario of them coming after him and his parents he stayed quiet. Not because he was changing his view of the subject no. He knew better than argue with someone about morality it was a subjective matter and everyone had different opinions about it. So he shouldn't try to convince her that it as morally correct to not kill people if you have a chance. Honestly the gangs were really weak all they really had was numbers other than that they were just nobodies. Latch held the men and walked to the alley they had been seeing the piles of unconscious men had become a pile of corpses. There seemed to be even more ice-cream in this area. Was that woman creating this? She may be a devil fruit eater. He heard of them before people who lost their ability to swim to gain a mystic power of sorts. Placing down the two tied up down on the ground he wondered if the woman was alright. He wasn't a detective but these killings they weren't just done for self defense or to get the job done. Their deaths looked slow and painful, did she enjoyed killing them? Latch was a little reluctant to go back to the woman but he did anyways, he had to take care of the rest of the gang and she would be helpful. Coming back he heard the rest of her spiel about how they had broken the law and were going to be killed anyways. The way the woman talked it sounded like she was a marine should he be worrying about that. While he hadn't commit any crimes but he knew that bounty hunters were wanted as well. "I was planning on taking care of them. Working together would be the best option" Latch choose to not respond to her ideals there was no reason for him to make enemies with her. "They have a leader. If catch him they would listen to us" Latch informed unsure if she knew this vital piece of information. The goons looked up to this leader of theirs while Latch had never seen him or her, he had heard of the person.
