It is the home of Curly Dadan and her gang of bandits. It is one of multiple mountains in the kingdom, as Higuma also came from one of these mountains. After Ace was born, Garp took Ace to Mt. Colubo to live with Dadan. Twelve years ago, after Higuma's death and Shanks's departure from Foosha Village, Garp took Luffy to Mount Colubo as well.

How does one go about destroying an entire mountain?

An old man would laugh as she would eye him down with a gripping stare while he'd proceed to eat away at his chicken. The commonfolk here had their fair share of bandits and pirates among other issues of the world. To be asked silly questions as this was merely tickling them for the time of day to converse. While he worked hard to hunger for the white meat of his livestock, Ahn hungered for something different.

It's been nearly a year since in counting where she was brought to a town such as this to recover. Some considerable amount of damage was recalled, remembering a blonde Marine and a small child of power that cracked her sword and has since been fueling her memories. For a time she was recuperating and assisting the people who had aided her. Eating, sleeping, and counting the nights where she felt not all herself on the inside. Awkward among the people as the woman with little to no memory about the events of the past year trickled her by with enough tolerance to allow her some work here and there.

Only except ever now and then she wanted to break this feeling of walking along a slow treadmill.

Her hand resting over the wagon of wood blocks to mill and stalks to lumber. Given her considerable strength it had been an easy feat. In the red zion eyes encapsulating the old man who'd wave her off at her question, she felt it. The familiarity.

At once she'd raise the wagon and release the rolling blocks down onto the man, effectively making crushed cookies out of his legs as she would walk past him and all the audible agony. The door he always kept open. In there a familiar novelty he kept. A claymore--rusted by the prior blood it tasted and was drenched with hung by the mantle in poor taste. The smell of it was faint to most but not to her. Not the way it reeked like her memories of using it. The grip settling comfortably into the worn rotten leather as she held it up like one would raise an umbrella.

The image of passably kind people turning into a collection of greedy skeevy bandits disguising themselves within the community built upon this mountain. It was so quick, how the foundation crumbled and pitiful that their faith laid on Ahn not remembering and how they confused her lax nature for complacency. It was an interesting bargain however they had gotten too comfortable. She had eyes, ears, limbs, and a mind. With all of those, stealing back what was hers and what else possibly more she could not care enough to fathom.

She'd pick up a denim jacket hanging off the wall and go outside to face the mob that gathered around one of the bandits former lieutenants. Her expression to the pointed weapons making her smile as snug as pinching an overripe peach.

"And once again, I've nothing to lose. But you all do." Spoke she, the Witch with the blade. The eyes of Satan gloss and lips of pink sapphire paired to deliver a sweet desert for the ages to see. The mountain green lush dipping into fire and blood. One swipe of the large claymore and it would cleave the current flock like paper and hay of all people alike. Somewhere along the way fires dripping off from the local smithy's drizzling the bed of the land as everything with a door would be opened to a new terror. Rooms thrashed, doors slain, houses toppled, people scattering faster than the flies would gnaw on the bodies already flung about. Letting the small few survive and giving her, the perpetrator hope that it would perhaps bring along some better adversaries. Preferably the same strong marines again if fate was generous. The mountain purged out of homes and innocents. Another mob slaughtered, another building toppled. Vultures soon to visit the mountain as the fortnight would burn into a new dawn.

Her collected beli total, even after discovering it in an old dented safe, mattered little to her interest. Her only desire was to fight someone of worth. Sitting ontop of the verdant hill with the same pangs of hunger only the scream of her muscles would sate. Looking down with wistful furrowing as her lips pursed an inch into a smile. "I hope it doesn't rain on those paths below. I'll get terribly lonely otherwise.."

"I really cleaned up, well... time for the next town." Bhiko said as he began on his journey towards the mountains. He had noticed a huge comotion up there and wondered if some super strong fighter had managed to make their way up into the mountains. The thought excited him to no ends. How strong was this guy, would it be the strongest fighter in East Blue, did he have devil fruit abilities too. Would he need a handicap? Bhiko began chuckling from the sheer excitement. His body shivered with each step closer to the mountain. He had been so focused on his path he hadn’t realized he was about to be ambushed by several bandits. Before he knew it he had a sack over his head and had been knocked unconscious. Three men surrounded Bhiko carrying his unconscious body away. When Bhiko woke next, he was in the dark. ”So uh, I know there are strange people out there, but I just want to fight, fist to fist, nothing else. You coward walked and got the jump on me. But uh, since we’re here why don’t you untie me and let’s get to it?” Bhiko asked as he began twisting his wrist trying to untie himself . ”Give it up, Bean. You owe and we’ve come to collect. A voice from the darkness spoke. Bhiko immediately recognized it. ”Oh, it’s you! Listen man, I was gonna pay you a visit, but uh... I didn’t. No hard fe- Doh!”

Bhiko was struck before he could finish his statement. ”Guess not. By the way... your sister hits harder than you.” Bhiko taunted the mystery voice. ”Yea, well let’s see if she recognizes you as a woman.” The mystery voice returned. ”s**t!” Bhiko thought as he felt the presence of a man’s hand reaching for his man’s hand. A bright light would envelop Bhiko causing the men to back away from the blinding glare. As the light dissipated there stood Bhiko in regular fashion, pulling the bag from his head. ”You were saying?” Bhiko asked as he stepped forward. ”Huh, uh extension?” Bhik smirked evilly as he yoked the bandits up and shook them down for every cent they had. Bhiko would leave from the area he was in which seemed to be a wasteland of wrecked homes and dead bodies. ”I wonder who did this.” Bhiko said to himself as he began walking around picking up coins, trinkets, and money along his way. ”Their dead, they won’t need them anyway right?” Bhiko thought as he began rummaging through every villager’s personal belongings taking only what he believed would make him the most money and would leave afterwards.

┠Don't Underestimate A Person's Will To Live┨

So much for a breath of fresh air. A non-volcanic mountain was set ablaze the amber of destroyed homes and trees fell from the sky like rain. The empty dock filled by a single medium size ship docking. The savior of the people of Colubo Mountain? Not exactly. Aeson was a mercenary and while their job did require them to take down pirates there wasn't any obligation to it. It was made clear to him a year ago that combat wasn't his specialty when a no named mercenary took the bounty he was after. A humbling experience for sure but not one that he planned to repeat any time soon. So why arrive to an island in distress with no plans on stopping the criminal who attacked the island; simple he was paid to repair whatever the pirates destroyed during their attack. Money. That was their only motivator and if the people were no longer believing that marines could keep them safe. They were forced to deal with the Cartel to get help and the Cartel sent their mercenaries; that was how Aeson found himself walking up a mountain.

Walking was a generous term for his staggered walk: his head lay low, his eyes scanning the ground, with an arm holding his stomach, and the occasional muffled cough. Of all the places for a pirate to attack it had to be the one area with a mountain and bandits. Bandits who were taking advantage of the chaos and were going around raiding the homes that hadn't been destroyed. That was none of his business until they decided that mugging a sickly man was a smart idea and in most cases it was. However this sickly doctor had a few tricks up his sleeves.

"Give us yo-" Hidden in the trees a trio of bandits attempting a surprise attack not realizing that yelling their demand gave away their position. They didn't get past the third word before a tree branch swung underneath them. In a comedic fashion they hit the branch before stumbling and falling on their face. The look of confusion on there face was priceless with a grin on his face Aeson chortled. "Sch sch sch. I'm here to repair your home so why don't you guys go back home and have a nice cup of coco" Everything is made better with some hot coco; a sentiment that the bandits didn't seem to agree with. Composing themselves and attacking once more the result was the same. Strands of grass wrapped itself around their ankles and once again they would fall on their face. Even nitwits like them would start realizing that something strange was at foot but that may be giving them too much credit. The grass slithered around their body the grass and held on tight while Aeson strolled over to them. A predatory hawk gawking and three trapped bunnies. "I don't like repeating myself. So how about going home." With a menacing tone before knocking them down the hill; hearing cries of pain and sound of bones cracking. What a bunch of crybabies they wouldn't die from a few broken bones.

With that distraction out of the way Aeson could finally get down to business if only he didn't spot a bag of goodies left by the rolling bandits. A branch helped lower the goodies to his feet. Rummaging through the bag there seemed to be a pattern to the items besides the obvious money value that all items had. The bag was full of sentimental value with most of the items being family heirlooms and portraits. Looked like the bandits were just stealing everything that homes had to offer. It wasn't even worth carrying around but making good public relations was one of the Cartel's top priorities.Looks like there was a new Santa in town.

With the bag on his back and his red hair he did have a little Santa theme going on. However his mask and darker clothing sort of ruined that imagery he was going for looking a lot more like Krampus. A woman sprawled in the ground with her husband; they were in each other's arms. How disgusting. Whoever passed by wasn't looking to leave any survivors that or they were looking to make a name for themselves. Didn't really matter to him all that mattered was cleaning up the mess that they made. Well hoping for the best Aeson placed two fingers on their necks and they were dead just like they looked. "Such a waste of human life." Reaching inside the bag he placed a flower pendant on the couple. Tree roots sprouted from beneath the ground, consuming the couple. They were much more useful as fertilizer than Halloween decorations. They would want their deaths to have some greater meaning...or not they were dead after all and dead people don't have needs.

A once luscious mountain was now becoming a wasteland of burnt homes and dead bodies. Aeson had done his part dealing with the dead bodies and burnt homes the only thing left was restoring the flora of the island. Years of cultivation would have to be done before they would even see a single tree in the burnt soil. But with a little bit of blood, sweat, and a devil fruit Aeson would get it done with a snap of his fingers. Any fires were isolated as the trees moved themselves away from any other plant life. When the fires finally put themselves out he start dropping seeds in the charred land. The trees and plants would grow, rot and die as they essentially fertilizing the earth before growing again. It was simple to make a plant grow in the area but over time it would die from lack of nutrients. With the rotting plants and corpses left from the pirate attack the land would continue bringing life.

What a tiresome day. Spending so much time today burying dead bodies one would think he was a undertaker. A soft chuckle as he tapped on his mask. Maybe getting a different wardrobe would help with looking less like a killer and more like a doctor.

Late and it was all her fault. She had been leading the ship and they had arrived late! So late that when they got there, the people thought that something else was going to attack them. The people came to their ship, looking at them with fear and respect. She looked to the others confused, unsure of what had happened at first. The ship docked and she looked to Xandria.

"Did we not just get an alert? What..." She asked aloud, stepping off onto land quickly after.

There was no sign of the pirate who had done anything here, but there was a sign of marine work here. She could see the work of the ground being shifted, trees reformed. She wondered who it was, more having a bit of suspicion but letting it go for now. She needed to gather information, like a look or anything about the man who had attacked. They had missed a pirate, now what were they going to do? They needed to keep pirates from causing more problems, but images of Guzma flashed through her mind.

                                                  "Ugh..." She muttered.

                                                  She turned to the group.

"Any thoughts?" She voiced, wondering what they thought

They needed to do something, needed to keep going. Where else would they go after this? The blues seemed to be on fire...How could they put it out?
ooc: Didn't know if you were still in on this Pengu. So I quoted you.

As they came to the island she expected to see some wreckage or some people hurt but instead there were none, she looked at Michelle the same time she looked at her. Xandria had a confused look on her face as she would hear what Michelle said; at the same time Xandria was setting the ship to port to join her. "Yes we did get that alert, I was right next to you when that happened senpai." Walking besides Michelle she looked around to see that there wasn't any trouble around here at all, she looekd over at Masae then at Michelle, when asked for her thoughts Xandria spoke up. "Well if theres no trouble here, maybe we should move onto the next island, like you said all the blues been on fire lately, I'm sure the next island over will have some trouble and will need some help. Masae san, where do you think we should go next?" Xandria asked Masae wanting to get her opinion on where to go next. Xandria then looked over at Michelle and asked. "Uhm senpai, can I ask a semi personal question? How old are you? Also Masae san I would like to know your age too. I'm 21 myself." Xandria asked wanting to get to know her a little more, seeing that they will be traveling together. When Xandria first saw Michelle she thought they were the same age, but the more she got to know her and travel with her Xandria started to know that Michelle was older than her, but not too much. Xandria then turned to the ship as she noticed someone else coming from the ship, someone she didn't recognize (Azusa), stopping in her tracks she turned to face him and asked. "You there sir, who are you and when did you come onto our ship? Also whats your name mister?" Xandria asked wanting to know who he was since she didn't know who he was.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxTheme: Blue Bird (Remix)

After receiving word of another war torn area the group sailed their way over. Along the way there had been little time for pleasantries before each of them were hauled away by a superior. for the brief time he had he'd eyed the group over, including a dark haired woman who introduced herself as one Masae Ueno. He'd give a bow but was ordered to get ready before he could make an introduction of his own.

Once on the island, however, things had been different. Instead of being met with chaos and destruction they were greeted with people slowly rebuilding after a long stranger came by to aid them in their recovery. While it was wonderful to see, it made Azusa feel as though they hadn't been doing their job properly; late to the scene without a single culprit in mind.

This time, instead of remaining in the background, the older man had joined the motley group and perked up when the emerald woman asked the group for their thoughts on the matter. He still remained silent, his presence was that of air even when visible. It appeared that the blonde perked up and spoke first on the matter, following up with a personal question and then a couple more to Azusa himself. The man had been standing there at the rear of the group several paces back.

Bare arms were folded over his chest, a mural of ink tattooed along the left side of his body.
"Hmm...souka." He mumbled. A coo escaped his lips finally as he nodded to himself before speaking. "It worries me greatly that you all have not noticed my presence until now. Had I not been an ally you would've all been slain already." His voice was stern, his accent a clear sign that he'd been a foreigner. Despite not wearing the usual Marine garb, his badge was still pinned onto the chest of his top. "You may call me Azusa Yumi and for the past several islands I have been observing you all. And while your hearts are in the right place, your methods are flawed and clumsy." It felt more of a scolding than an introduction. There hadn't been any animosity in his tone, rather, general concern.

The man looked them over in wonder, stroking his salt and pepper beard. Again, he hummed silently under his breath is if in thought; analyzing them one by one.
"Tell me, is this your first time together as a group?" He questioned, his head craning mildly to the side.

It seemed they were supposed to capture a pirate, but they had merely missed him. She could hear Michelle talking, Xandria reassuring her. The maiden, however, kept glancing over at Azusa, the male whom she had introduce herself to earlier. It seemed he was a marine despite wearing their clothes. She thought about why, and pondered at the thought. If he had joined them from their last reimbursement, it meant he saw them at Ridus. The village was notorious for their hushes, and perhaps being a marine in the spotlight wasn’t so bright. She didn’t think about that, and now she was hitting herself for being so clumsy. Rubbing her forehead, she sighed, and began to walk over to Azusa when Xandria had asked her a question,

                                                  “ Hm? Twenty.”

She answered arriving at the male’s side. She inspected his features for a minute, then nodded,

“ You really did blend in back there, fellow companion.”

She said, then heard Xandria asking who he was. Masae turned to her, and smiled,” He’s a friend! He helped us out during the last reimbursement.” She began, patting Azusa’s back gently, with a big smile,” Don’t worry, he won’t bite your head off…yet.” She reassured, then turned back to the male. The maiden had yet to capture his name either, but while she waited, she leaned back to look at Michelle who was still flustered,

“ Don’t worry, we cannot rush to capture someone. For now, lets continue to hit random places to see if they need help so we don’t set off the pirate’s suspicions. We can keep tabs in the meanwhile.”

Masae began to walk along the beach, inspecting every nook and cranny. Since they were there, they might as well as patrolled the area for awhile. The female wanted to converse more, but being a bit shy, she kept to herself...for now. The maiden found a few shards of broken glass, and a necklace that a pirate had dropped a long time ago. It seemed they were becoming more and more active, but why? Was it somehow connected to missing Marines? Perhaps if some weaker comrade met a pirate face to face and lose, they were taken in? Masae's face was plagued with worry as she continued to patrol the area. When nothing else was amiss, she returned to her friends and urged them to check out the rest of the area instead of just sitting around. They needed a break from visiting villages and having to worry about confronting sad and weeping villagers. Perhaps this patrol was needed, to ease their minds, and calm their hearts. There was a soft ocean breeze that gently caressed her hair and brushed it off her shoulders, as if to show off her wonderful features. To who though? No one was looking, so she cared not. Masae stood underneath a palm tree, her eyes hovering over the horizon of the vast blue sea. She loved this, she loved the peace. She wanted to keep it that way, but with pirates running amock...it was hard.

His gaze peered over towards the upbeat woman, giving her a grin and a nod. She seemed to have a good head on her shoulders, a bit headstrong like the others but a little more modest. For a moment Azusa rubbed the back of his head before opening his mouth to speak again.
"Either way, you lot may be in need of leadership. One who can teach you how to serve the cause without being a slave to it. What you lot did back in Ridus Village was dangerous. In situations such as those it is key to blend into your surroundings to avoid suspicion. It is neigh impossible to gather intelligence on an island of mercenaries and criminals by simply flashing your badge." He'd explain. A rant he felt necessary to get his point across.

Again he cooed before shaking his head once, turning his gaze back towards Masae and then towards the ship.
"Masae was it? You are correct. We should continue forward as looking back will only slow us down. Come. There is no ground to be gained here. Let us go. We may have to spread ourselves further to aid all of those in need. I would like to train with all of you individually to see what you are capable of, starting with you." He pondered aloud, gaze turning to the dark haired woman as he'd address her. With a glance over his shoulder he'd motion his hand for those that wished to follow him to follow, heading off towards his ship to sail off to the next war torn island.

Masae listened, and when she failed to catch onto his name, frowned. It seemed he wanted to remain mysterious for now. She could respect that, even if it was odd. However, when he began to turn away, Masae looked between Xandria, and then at Azusa,

“ It would be a good lesson to tag along with him, but I think I’m gonna convince him to hit Orange Island because theres been a raid there. You guys can hit another. Put out more fires.”

She reasoned, waving at the pair as she followed behind Azusa.

They had been late, something she still couldn't understand. How had she been so late? She became lost in this moment for a bit, thinking of what to do next. They could go around reimbursing, but they needed to capture the pirate or pirates who were doing this. They couldn't just stop, they needed to just put these pirates in jail. this was a mistake, and she bit her lip, dreading to hear what she would have to deal with next. She heard a question poised at her.

"Twenty three, or four. I can't remember. I've been doing too much in the last year to remember exactly."

It is, concerning that she doesn't know her birthday like that. She has worked too hard to be in her current position that she doesn't even care for her age. It is but a number that vanishes with time and rank. She did not ignore the new man, she just asked him something earlier and he didn't respond. The question would be if she could defend the team against him. He seemed strong, dedicated and what not. He knew Mease would enjoy her time with the other guy. She didn't speak because splitting them up would be best. she was slow, and she took up time. They had missed one, it would be best for her to go with someone who could be faster. She also felt highly sluggish.

"Ask more questions Xan...We have time on our hands." She whispers, sitting down among the docks. She lets the water hit the tips of her heels. She rather not be bothered by work right now.
ooc: Didn't know if you were still in on this Pengu. So I quoted you.

          [major destruction, again]

It starts with words. So unreal. Watching the healing take place as she watched them go yet like Volcana they abstained from the peak. The plumes watched from the upper eyre. A good number of them focused on salvaging while few in number made any changes to the environment itself. Perhaps one, with the cherry malt hair with a twisted appearance. To her eyes it looked like a Crow had risen from the grave with a dire story to tell. Head cocking like that of a magpie after spotting the soft of a bug. Witnessing something interesting. Sorcery. Power beyond that of average and in less than an hour the dead land breathed new life. Greens running lush and buildings slowly being rebuilt. Then her attention drifted to a looter, very much a hyena and no more for her to stay interested in. Then two more joined the fray and then some. Still she waited and still the giving tree gave little. A swish of impatience rippling in the ripe pink ruby orbs as none of them rose to the occasion. They were only treating the symptom and not the disease. She'll just have to remind them once more.

Lowering her grip from her claymore. Up she rose off her throne of bones. Picking up the riches that went unclaimed. This made her learn. Perhaps money of this amount wasn't good enough for higher alerts. Her eyes looking off from the peak to a distant ocean side. Of course. If not wealth...then power. Control. A country. Yes. If that was the prize then surely the ambitious would come. That's what it should be. And for Ahn that was a lovely vision to behold. Pirates, Marines, Revolutionaries, scavengers. She didn't care. The urge was throbbing now with hints of licorice spreading.

Licking her lips as the bare feet stepped over the now verdant ground. Gliding with the wind as though it had not yet realized she was of demonkind and not of seraphim. The roasted lashes of cinder sizzling over the sculpted land. A swing, a whistle, and the winds would whip before it would roll down the mountain. Breaking fissures into the ground before the large sword would raise like a child's favorite shovel. Dismantling the mountain from it's core, likely sending brief magnitudes. Explosions of raw power severing and scattering the newborn trees without a thought. Timber. Sending the broken earth back down to cascade an early sign for those to still---run.

          They were all within sight.

          "Run, from me, darling~"

She wasn't a horrible singer, her mother was more of the songstress type. The dark orchid beauty would look on with a lilt to her voice. Catching sight of a troubled looking girl with green hair. Her speed was faster than lovers could whisper so much so that she reappeared as a passing woman with scant winds dressing her shoulders. Slender fingers softly passing through the tresses of green before they'd slip like raindrops from her hand as she was walking on by. "You...better run....for your life.~" An song to sing while chaos of similar destruction was following by. Her sword gleaming like a darling under the sun as if it had not been the cause behind it all.

The witcher would make her way casually to the base of the mountain. If they wished to stop her, they could.
