"Haki" is a power that lies dormant in all the world's creatures... "Presence", "fighting spirit" and "intimidation"... It is not different from the things that humans can naturally sense such as these... 'The act of not doubting'. That is strength!
        XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXSilvers Rayleigh

Haki [覇気 Haki, literally meaning "Ambition"] is a mysterious power that is found in every living being in the world. It is not that different from the normal senses. However, most people do not notice it or fail to awaken it. Broadly, there are two types of Haki common to everyone, given the proper training; however, there is a third type that only a certain group of "chosen ones" are said to possess. In simple terms, Haki is an ability to sense spiritual energy and overpower enemies.

Haki is dormant in every living person, but it's rare for most people to ever awaken that ability. Intense training can awaken it, as can extreme shock, such as with Coby during the Battle of Marineford. Two known people (Aisa and Otohime) were born with the ability.

Due to the fact that Haki originates from an individual's spirit and not their body, even if the user's spirit is transferred into another body, they are still capable of using Haki as if they were in their original body.

        Oвтαıиıиg Hακı

Once a character's Spirit stat is at least 150, that individual will be able to awaken their Haki and thus make choose your specialization. Any character can utilize both basic forms of Busoshoku and Kenbunshoku Haki, but in order to use the next levels, they have to pick that Haki as a specialty, allowing them to master that Haki.

The third type of Haki, Haoshoku Haki, cannot be obtained by normal means. This will be available when more information is released.

RPCs with the Anti-Devil sub-race automatically specialize in both types once Haki becomes available to them. However, posting here claiming both Haki is still necessary.

        Bяαи¢ħıиg

You have one more option as well. If you wish to delve into both, you may choose the branching option, which enables the character to obtain both Intermediate levels of Busoshoku and Kenbunshoku. However, they will never be able to master either. Additionally, using each level of Intermediate will cost more Spirit than normal, and extra 10 Spirit per use.
**Anti-Devils have no need for this option.

        Hακı Cøšтš

        • Under normal conditions, all Haki costs are as they appear in the corresponding technique.
        • When a character branches into both Haki (without being Anti-Devil), the cost for Intermediate is raised to [30].
        • Anti-Devil RPCs purchase all Haki at half the listed cost. I.e., Basic costs [5].

        Hακı & Sρıяıт

When Haki is used by an individual, their Spirit stat is not lowered. However, to prevent access to infinite Haki, it still serves as a gauge for how many times Haki can be used in the battle, and the uses still stack as usual. In effect, the individual continues to retain their willpower throughout the battle. This also applies to similar techs of the user's that would normally lower the Spirit stat. Note that the opponent can still reduce the user's Spirit via Spirit-reducing techniques.

        Current Spirit Stat:
        Specialty in Haki:

This allows the user to create a force similar to an invisible armor around themselves. This type of Haki also has the ability to bypass the powers of a Devil Fruit user, touching the "substantial body" beneath whatever protection the fruit provides, such as the case of body-altering Devil Fruits such as Logia users. With training, it can be further honed into a weapon with which to strike others. It can be used to augment the user's own attacks, projected ahead of the user as pure brute force, or imbued in weapons to increase their effectiveness. Any attack enhanced by Busoshoku Haki hits immensely harder than it would normally without it.

Tħe Bαšı¢š øf Bυšøšħøκυ Hακı

        1. Busoshoku Haki is able to enhance the user's offense or defense, depending on how it is used. The power of Busoshoku Haki is ultimately determined by the level used, as well as the amount of spirit placed into it. By expending a certain amount of points from one's Spirit pool, they are able to boost their offense or defense. Each use of Haki lowers the user's spirit pool by a certain amount, which varies from use to use. All three types of Haki share the same pool.

        2. When using Busoshoku Haki for the sake of defending against an attack, it will count as a defensive technique and will be based upon the users full Endurance plus any boost from the Buso if applicable when mitigating damage.

        3. Busoshoku Haki may be penetrated by an attack that is stronger than the total defensive power of the user. This applies to cutting and puncturing attacks by nature.

        4. If penetrated, it will weaken the force of the attack that breaks through as per its defensive strength, but the user will be susceptible to wounding, injections, or other effects reliant on penetration or direct contact with the skin or body from that specific attack.

        5. Busoshoku Haki does not, and never will, erase any Devil Fruit constructs simply by coming in contact with them. All it does is enable the attacker to bypass Devil Fruit powers in order to touch the substantial body of the user, beneath the protection that the fruit provides, as in the case of body-altering Devil Fruits such as Logia and certain Paramecia (Gomu, Bara, Sube, etc.). It does not, however, prevent them from using their abilities.

        6. While Busoshoku Haki can block temperature, it does not block oxygen/ atmosphere, nor sound.

    Technique Name: Basic Busoshoku Haki
Description: The user may cover a single part of their body (arm, leg, hand, foot, head, or torso) in an invisible armor for a single post. It is activated by the user, thus is cannot be used if the user is caught off-guard. Basic Busoshoku Haki can be used to increase the user's offense or defense by [50] points. This level of Busoshoku allows the user to touch the tangible body of a fruit user, as noted above. Basic Busoshoku can be applied to weapons the user is holding, but only for as long as contact is maintained. Furthermore, the weapon or object takes the place of the body part; i.e., Busoshoku will be applied to the weapon, not both weapon and hand, etc. Basic Busoshoku Haki can be used without the boost, but with the other effects stated in the technique, by expending [10] Spirit.
    Requirements: Obtainable at 300 TSP

    Technique Name: Intermediate Busoshoku Haki
Description: This level of Busoshoku Haki possesses the same qualities as Basic Busoshoku Haki, as well as new additions. The user may cover their entire body in invisible armor for two posts at a time; it extends to the weapons the user is holding at the time. It can be used to increase offense or defense anywhere from [100] to [200], depending on the amount of Spirit paid. Intermediate Busoshoku Haki defends against the harmful effects of elements, such as the intense heat of the Magu Magu no Mi, or the frigid temperatures of the Hie Hie no Mi; i.e., it prevents the user form being frozen, melted, or from succumbing to the effects of temperature, etc. Intermediate Busoshoku can be used to coat projectiles or any object that leaves the user's body. This means that the attack/ object in question must, at some point, be in contact with the user's body or the weapon they are holding. Anything coated in Busoshoku Haki gains the same properties that the user gains. Intermediate Busoshoku Haki can be used without the boost, but with the other effects stated in the technique, by expending [25] Spirit.
Requirements: Obtainable at 600 TSP | Basic Busoshoku Haki

    Technique Name: Advanced Busoshoku Haki
Description: This level of Busoshoku Haki possesses the same qualities as Intermediate Busoshoku Haki, as well as new additions. When applied, the user's body or the object in question becomes more formidable and lessens the effects of seawater on a Devil Fruit user's body. This may be done up to two parts of the body (see: Basic) at a time, for one post. It can be used to increase offense or defense anywhere from [200] to [400], depending on the amount of Spirit paid. Advanced Busoshoku Haki causes the body part or object to become extremely dense, like a mass of iron, turning black and shiny in the process. It is possible to equip weapons or ordinary objects with this level of Busoshoku Haki, turning it black and giving it the same properties as the user's body; however, weapons will not physically become iron, nor will they lose durability if made of something better, like steel. Advanced Busoshoku Haki can be used without the boost, but with the other effects stated in the technique, by expending [40] Spirit.
Requirements: Obtainable at 1,200 TSP | Intermediate Busoshoku Haki

Kenbunshoku Haki, also known as Mantra on Skypiea, is a form of Haki that allows the user to sense the presence of others, even if they are concealed from view or too far to see naturally. With enough skill, one can use this Haki to predict an opponent's moves shortly before they make them, thereby making the attack that much easier to evade. This prediction appears to the user as an image or brief "premonition" of what the opponent will do in the user's mind's eye, and the damage the user will take if the attack actually "hits". It appears that the more killing intent the enemy has, the easier they are to predict. Although, more skilled users can predict future moves whether there are ambient murderous intents or not.

    Technique Name: Basic Kenbunshoku Haki
Description: For a brief moment (one post), the user gains insight to the hidden world. They are granted the ability to sense the presence of hidden individuals within a bounded, spherical space whose radius is determined by the user's Spirit stat divided by 10 and represented in feet. Detection, however, is not equivalent to understanding. Kenbunshoku must be activated during the post. Basic Kenbunshoku Haki can be used once every [50] Spirit the user has: i.e. someone with 150 Spirit could use Basic Kenbunshoku Haki three times a fight at this level. All Spirit costs for Haki abilities stack, meaning with 150 Spirit, one cannot use Basic Kenbunshoku Haki and Basic Busoshoku Haki three times each.
    Requirements: Obtainable at 300 TSP

    Technique Name: Intermediate Kenbunshoku Haki
Description: For a duration of two posts, the user's prediction skills are enhanced by using Intermediate Kenbunshoku Haki to bolster their reaction stat by a set amount. By spending [100] to [200] Spirit, the user can boost their reactionary speed stat by the amount paid for 2 consecutive posts. Reactionary speed being an increase to not your actual speed, but the ability to react to something much faster than you, normally. For example, a person with 250 Spirit could use Intermediate Kenbunshoku Haki anywhere from 2 to 5 times a fight. All Spirit costs for Haki abilities stack, meaning someone with 250 Spirit cannot use Intermediate Kenbunshoku Haki five times and then use Intermediate Busoshoku Haki five times as well. Kenbunshoku must be activated the post before it is used.
Requirements: Obtainable at 600 TSP | Basic Busoshoku Haki

    Technique Name: Advanced Kenbunshoku Haki
Description: The user retains both abilities from Basic and Intermediate Kenbunshoku Haki, only now the ability to sense others is greater and the user's ability to see things coming is more refined. The radius of Kenbunshoku's detection ability is increased to 1/4th of the user's Spirit measured in feet and the reactionary speed stat can now be boosted anywhere from [200] to [400] points, depending on how much Spirit is paid for 2 consecutive posts with a 1 post cool down for this level of Kenbunshoku immediately after. An additional ability is granted at this level of Kenbunshoku Haki. Once per activation of Advanced Kenbunshoku Haki, the user is able to predict a movement or action of the opponent's. This prediction appears to the user as an image in this minds or a brief premonition, enabling them to act before it occurs. However, stats must still be taken into consideration, as do other factors; simply seeing the move doesn't guarantee understanding. Kenbunshoku can be activated during a post.
Requirements: Obtainable at 1,200 TSP | Intermediate Busoshoku Haki
