Zindel was definitely a lot more confident onstage then off. It was always nerve rattling before a Dance Battle, and while Chiara always made sure to give him some version of a pep talk, he always requested for her to to give him a few minutes to mentally prepare himself before each one. He liked having some personal time, and hearing the announcer begin the competition with a loud and drawn out heeeeeeeellllllo to the audience, he rolled his shoulders and stretched some once more. Chiara hadn't exactly specified who he'd be battling, merely that she was new but good. He supposed a lot of people were good after she discovered them, but he'd been the first, so why was the blueblood acting like the others she'd found were so much better? He'd tried not to let her words affect him too bad, but she'd teased him saying she'd replace him, and he'd taken it to pump biscuit. It was frustrating, but then again, that was Chiara for you.
"Our battle for tonight features the one, the only-- Give it up for our mesmerizing menace, the Sultry Star!"
He was pulled out of his daze when his stage name was announced, almost surprising Zindel before jogging in place and running on stage, crowd going wild at his appearance with a wide grin an extravagant bow. He winked at few trolls in the front before brandishing his jagged daggers extravagantly, twirling them in his hands before stopping with his feet together and an extravagant end pose. As the announcer geared to announce his opponent, Zindel couldn't help but steal a quick glance to her side, curious. It didn't hurt to peek!

Since scoring the best at Chiara's Dance Battle booth at Bloodfest, Elidae had since dabbled a bit in this new and rising challenge. It gave the yellowblood a good workout, and she had quite a bit of fun with it, too! The idea of a stage persona delighted her, though she often felt nervous at first, and this next one was no exception. She did a few gigs here and there, but she definitely knew this one was Big.
Chiara let her know that he was her first and best, but didn't reveal any other details. Of course not. Stretching her arms over her head, Elidae attempted to mentally prepare herself for what was to come. In a moment, a different switch would click on. Her stage persona had a little bit more flippant and wanton attitude than she normally had offstage. She heard the introduction of her opponent, a troll that went by Sultry Star. She giggled. The crowd seemed to cheer by his presence, denoting popularity.
Once she heard the announcer call her name, Elidae practically bounded on stage, donning the gold sparkly shorts and top of Glitter Bomb. She waved to the audience, giving them a wide snaggletoothed smile. Sliding her gaze to the side, she got a quick look at him. Whoa. He was cute.
There was a swing to her hips, and then she placed one hand on them and leaned forward a little towards her opponent in a rather playful pose. "Hey, there, Sultry Star! Nice to meet ya!" And with a wink, the yellowblood flashed the redblood a coquettish grin. In her other hand was an unusually large pair of ornate scissors that glimmered underneath the stage lights. Effortlessly, she twirled the weapon swiftly, unhinging the scissors into two separate blades in either hand. The ooo's and aaa's by the crowd went unnoticed. She was now fully engaged with her foe. "Ready to go?" Twirling one of her blades, Elidae gave the announcer an eager smile, pleading to start the battle.

"And next up, the newest but certainly not the weakest-- Here comes Miss Glitter Bomb, exploding into our lives! C'mon everyone, let's bring the house down!"
Well damn. A yellowblood, dressed as scantily as he was jumped in with a snaggletoothed grin and swaying hips. He could feel one of his brows lift as she approached him, hands falling to his sides as she placed a hand on his chest and greeted him with a wink. Zindel's expression could only be described as amused. "Heya, sweetheart. Nice pants y'got there." He grinned cheekily, eyes flashing with a curious desire as he turned his attention to the other and eyed her weapon of choice. Was that for show, or was that her actual weapon? He wasn't against it-- He'd definitely seen... Stranger... Things... But it made him chuckle. Still didn't look any less dangerous, though. "I'm always ready." He chuckled, getting in position and readying himself, not wanting to take her lightly. If she was as he'd heard from Chiara, he wasn't going to show weakness, not now.
"Alright, with both our battlers in position, let'ssssss GET THIS STARTED!" The wolf whistles from the crowd only added more fuel to his fire. "GET! REEAAADY! TO.... DAAAaaaaANNCEEE BATTLE!" He heard, the eager announcer seemingly too into the fight. Counting down from three, two-- The moment he heard start he was moving. The music was loud and blasting, and Zindel twirled and sped toward her with swift yet calculated movements. He swiped a jagged dagger at her before backflipping away, swaying his hips with the song and smiling widely, watching her every movement. He was excited to see her dancing style.

So fast! The redblood came at her immediately after given the green light, and Elidae stepped back, bracing herself. Unable to block him entirely, she swiped upwards to stop his attack just barely, but definitely felt it in her knees. Realizing he could overpower her, she jumped back in a backwards, performing a cartwheel to a safer position. Steadily, she slid down, extending one leg to her side, popping her head back up with her hair flying past her face.
"Nice moves!" Elidae commented, the saccharine tone coming from between grinding teeth. She could tell he was good. Of course he was.
