Moonlight streaked through the trees of the Four Fronds, dolloping the underbrush with patches of light. Buffel avoided those patches as he made his way towards the designated meet up spot that Rianon had set. What was initially meant to be a full Little Busters training session had become a one-on-one when Akkira suddenly couldn't make it. Buffel wondered if they were simply going to spar, or maybe tussle about trying on combo moves for size? No matter what it was, he was excited at the prospect of hanging out one-on-one with Rianon. Group hangouts were fun, but the young yellowblood preferred the quiet atmosphere of shared between two trolls alone woth each other. Just felt more homey, in his opinion. He reckoned it might have to do with the solitary way The Spirit had raised him. Buffel assumed the tricksy howlbeast was close behind somewhere in the shadows, silently looking after him. Thankfully, Buffel could find his sense of direction well enough all on his lonesome. In fact, clearing away the leaves ahead of him, he believed he could see Rianon’s training site, a patch of clearing in the dense forest. Buffel heaved in a breath of air, puffing out his chest, and then confidently strode over towards her.

Buffel had indeed spotted the little witch's clearing, however, the greenblood was not one to take training lightly. She had learned over the sweeps that one must always be prepared for anything, and Buffel was just making too much noise getting to the clearing to be missed.
As soon as the yellowblood made his way through the brush and stepped into the opening, something snagged his ankle out from beneath him, tripping the boy.
Rianon giggled, then "tsk tsk tsk. Buffel, I could hear ya coming from yards away," she said, looking down at her friend and offering her hand to help him back to his feet. "Ya gotta always be prepared. Especially in these woods."
The clearing had a smattering of stuffed troll dummies, crude weapons strewn about, and it wouldn't be surprising if there were a few booby traps hidden here and there as well.

Buffel tipped galley-west as a foot was snuck 'neath his own. Flopping inelegantly to the ground, he found himself face-to-foot with a familiar greenblood's trippin' apparatuses. Stupid leaves, he thought. As the girl giggled and chided him, he brought himself up on one knee. She extended her hand out and he grasped it gently, before suddenly taking full hold and pulling her down with him.
”Yer quite right, Rianon, and you gotta be prepared for the counter-attack!”
Chuckling, he brushed himself off and sitting up, taking in the surrounding training area. Seemed a standard training area. Rianon was a powerful troll if he’d ever seen one, so their training would be greatly advantageous for him. Just had to make sure he didn’t get roughed up too bad! He sat up cross-legged and face her, his posture straight and his face aimed forward toward her.
”Now then, what’s on the docket for today’s training regimen?”

As she felt the tug toward the ground, Rianon tried to resist, but only managed to let a boot slip and tumbled forward, doing her best to miss the yellowblood as she fell down with a squeak. She used her momentum to roll into a sitting position, quickly pulling twigs out of her hair as she tried to maintain her appearance.
"Well I doubt the enemy will be offering you a hand, but way to stay on your toes none-the less," she said.
The witch was glad to have some time to train with Buffel. Akkira was great, but perhaps not quite as serious at times. She was quite excited about this opportunity. After making sure she was satisfied with her hair (battle was no excuse to look sloppy) she folded her hands in her lap and looked at Buffel.
"Well, the forest offers a unique environment to practice stealth, one of my specialties. I have training dummies and some traps set up just so you don't get too comfortable," she grinned and winked. She may be sweet, but she obviously had no intentions of going easy during the training session. "We can also try and practice some team fighting. If you can acclimate yourself to my teleportation, we could easily gain the upper hand in sticky situations by giving you the most opportune ranges to shoot."
