Scotty vs. Han Solo

Scotty vs. Han Solo in a fist fight over who's ship is better.

I'd bet on Scotty, I mean he's already beat up a klingon because he insulted the Enterprise. I know this isn't completely Trek, and it's a crossover with Wars, and I hope that's okay for a Trek guild sweatdrop ...
Anyway, if it interests you, who do you think would win?

Well.
It's not really a question of who will wim, but whose friends would stop them first.
Luke, one one hand, would probably sit back and laugh at Han Solo getting the crap kicked out of him.
Either that or he'd awkwardly fumble around with his light saber and make a valiant effort.
Kirk, however would beam Scotty up to the Enterprise, or Spock might do his Vulcan neck grip thing on Han.


Basically it's all a matter of whose side you're on.

Then, of course we all know that The enterprise is lightyears ahead of the piece of crap Han solo rides.

Though the two are generally incomparable, considering one is science fantasy whilst the other is science fiction, I would definitely see Scotty kicking the hell out of Han. (Sorry guys. sweatdrop I've had too many fist fights over this one.)

I'd say Han takes this one.
Han Solo got a lot of cardio.

He ran ALL OVER the Death Star,
and had hair-trigger reflexes,
shooting Greedo thru the table without telegraphing his move.

If you read the books, Han's also had a number of
adventures that relied on his fist-fighting skills,
like "Last Man Standing."

Scotty can brawl, but he won't end up at the top of
a dustup by himself.


Now, as to which can overhaul a ship better, I'd give
that one to Scotty any day of the week.
Han's good at keeping the Falcon flying, but not the BEST.
Scotty's written the book on the Enterprise.
(Literally-see "Relics". "Who do you think WROTE that?")
Both were able to tell you all about their respective
ships just from their feel in flight.

Oh, and for the record,
even Scotty explains this wrong.
Scotty didn't hit the Klingon for calling the Enterprise
a garbage scow.
When he did, Scotty got mad and said
"Don't you think....you might...rephrase that a bit..laddie?"
At which point, the Klingon responded:
"That's right.
I didn't mean to say that the Enterprise should be
hauling garbage.
I meant to say the Enterprise should be hauled off
AS garbage."
THAT's when Scotty hit him.
You can see it in "the Trouble With Tribbles" (TOS)
and "Trials and Tribble-ations" (DS9).
And in the following scene, Scotty explains it wrong,
of course.

I see your point... but you can't rule out Scotty's temper either, lol... oh and I didn't say Scotty hit the Klingon for saying that the Enterprise was a garbage scow, I said he hit the Klingon for insulting the Enterprise. Yes I remember that line quite well, thank you. And as for Scotty explaining wrong, well it's an interesting fact, but I wouldn't put on you list of top inconcistencies if I were you. That's just something that happens sometimes, even in real life, when someone is re-telling a story.
