Finn arrived home after his shift, alive but... very very tired. All he wanted to do was collapse into bed - but, unfortunately, there was someone else still in it.
Well, he had no one to blame but himself. And at this point, Finn was honestly too tired to care.
Bleary-eyed, he kicked off his shoes and his belt. "Hey, Alois," he said. "Don't freak out."
He stared, for a moment, at the pajama pants discarded on the floor, and then decided that on top of the covers was fine. "Hold still," Finn instructed, and began trying to climb over his guest to reach the section of bed beside the wall.

Perhaps Finn might find it fortunate that Alois slept like the dead. When the other man arrived back in his own bedroom, Alois failed to stir. Deep asleep was he, on his stomach, with one arm curled up over his eyes and the other left to wander the bed at will. Breaths still came slow and steady while Finn discarded shoes. Hardly had he moved when Finn elected to climb over him, and only to push away the offending foot near his chest in a haphazard, sleep-stricken manner. When the presence settled on his left side, he only grunted his disapproval.
It was his bed, his sleeping form asserted.
An arm stretched soon after, his form shofted toward his side, and fingers brushed against a texture so alerting that he pulled himself from sleep. Sunlight struck him blind at first and he breathed in his surprise, rubbed away the brilliant splinters discarded by the sun. There, in hued form, he found Finn.
„Oh,“ he started sleepily. „What time is it?“ Alois felt for the cell phone that he couldn’t find. „You’re home early, or?“
Carefully and cleverly he reached down to snatch the pajama pants off the floor. Slowly they slithered beneath the covers.

“Oh,“ Alois returned. „********.“ He said it halfheartedly, for prospects of something else to do in the day looked grim. Finding whever ‚home‘ was now would wait for him regardless of his interest in doing it.
„I don’t haf’ anywhere I want to go right now, besides back to sleep.“ Alois still muttered from the depth of the pillow. Finally he pried himself free enough to cast a glance at Finn, who looked much worse for wear after the long work day, before retreating to the confines of feathery goodness. „You look like s**t,“ he offered helpfully.
Arms stretched high overhead where shoulders popped loudly. Stretched muscles provided a thin, yet unmistakeable sound.
This bed is really comfortable. He’s not getting it back. Slowly Alois embarked on his plan of owning the majority of the bed, where changing positions left hands pressing against Finn’s side. He estimated they stood at roughly equal ownership of real estate here, but once he added his feet to the equation, he was certain he could shove Finn to the outskirts of the United State of Bed.

“Yes, you’re beautiful. To ze grunge crowd zat stalks Tim Skold.“ Briefly he wondered if Finn even knew who that was. He didn’t ask - if Finn denied knowledge of Skold, then Alois’ faith in humanity stood to crumble further. No, he would assume that Finn understood him there.
„No,“ Alois answered simply. „Sharing is communist. Zis is Amerika. It is ze opposite of communist.“ For better leverage, Alois switched sides and used his back to press into Finn. Eat the wall, ********>, he thought mischievously. The simple prospect of it brought him joy, nonetheless, where joy had been absent for so long.
„If you want more of ze bed, you can fight me for it. Ozzerwise, prepare to sleep on ze floor.“ Antoher push confirmed his message: this bed was a conquest, and Alois wasn’t giving up.
„Come on, Queen. Gif’ me your best shot.“

Alois' change of leverage sent Finn skittering towards the wall, and he braced himself with his toes and pushed back, a hard shove, shoulders knocking against Alois'. If he were more awake, Finn would have probably tried to talk this one out - but at the moment, he was very, very open to suggestion.
"Man, last time I do sumfink nice for you," he grumbled, but he laughed at the end, to show that he wasn't really that pissed.
And then he picked up one of his pillows and kind of flailed around with it, hoping to catch some part of Alois with it.
He was not a very well-coordinated assailant.

Finn held the advantage of leverage, for he had a wall to push against, and Alois had little more than the narrowly-defined edge of the mattress. The resultant shove given by Finn scooted Alois neatly across the bedding, where his hands and feet braced against air. He frowned, and cast a dreadful eye over his shoulder.
„Hej, don’t make fun of my accent. Zat’s low, you scat-hunting wildman.“ Still smirking Alois intended to simply climb over Finn in his new position and adopt the wall for his own leverage, but a pillow smacked him square in the face. A guttural grunt identified his dissatisfaction.
„You’re terrible. Hochnäsig and terrible.“ He couldn’t remember the word for it, and high-nosed seemed not quite accirate, so Alois settled on another frontal assault. Reaching back, fingers grasped for whatever they could find - be it face or wrist - while keeping his face away from the action.

Alois blinked a couple times when he heard Finn’s nasal retort. Giving the bridge of his nose a quick pinch, Alois’ hand retreated for fear of accidental booger wear. Briefly he inspected his fingers for contamination.
„I slept all day. Besides, tormenting you is more fun,“ he declared matter-of-factly. He considered slipping a hand up Finn’s thigh, an effective tactic with straight men to navigate them away from one’s holdings, but he wasn’t sure how it would stack up against someone in a definitively gay relationship. It would probably end in awkward.
But, on the other hand, it might be a fast track to getting laid. He couldn’t afford to be picky about gender when he couldn’t get a spark of interest from anyone.
What the hell, he decided.
„You just wanted to sleep wis’ me,“ he taunted, and committed to traipsing fingers up along Finn’s kneecap to his thigh.

His hand was smacked, predictably, and Alois waited for the brush-off, the objections and the light jokes to disperse any awkwardness created between them. Instead he heard what was very nearly an invitation. His initial reaction begged him to recoil from it, to dismiss the thought wholesale as one raised in a phobic Christian family setting often does, but he paused. If interpretations proved correct, Finn all but offered himself up as a sexual conquest. How often did that happen?
Half past never, Alois decided. Acquiescing meant shirking the v-card. It meant admission into a popularized club where most adults - and some teenagers - have often gone. Besides, Finn seemed like a typical good-natured guy, so the only potential user here was Alois. Potential consequences easily sidestepped.
Admittedly, Finn rivaled his strength, and would’ve overpowered him had Alois remained in Ashdown all this time. He had Ezra to thank for that, he supposed, so when he found himself locked in Finn’s grip he gave a few struggles to test the security of it. „Isn’t zat supposed to help you sleep better? If you’re after Aleksy’s approval, all it takes is a phone call. Wonders of technology and all.
„Unless you’re ze kind of guy who decided ze best part of waking up isn’t Folgers in your cup.“ For now, the fidgeting stopped, and he dealt with Finn squeezed against him. Luckily the pair weren’t facing one another, as he found such an arrangement unduly awkward.
Feigning a huff, he offered his best Disappointment Voice. „Fine, cop out and go to bed. Haf’ it your way.“

"Nah," said Finn, nuzzling his face into the back of Alois' neck - his struggles just made Finn more keen on holding onto him, for the sake of being annoying. "Gotta handle that kinda thing in person. It should go over well, but... man, I don't owe you this explanation."
But Aleksy wasn't tapping that lately, so maybe he'd be open to a proxy...?
He could only hope. The more he thought about this proposition, the more Finn hoped it happened.
"It'll be worth the wait," he murmured, starting to doze off again.
