Family Facts:
The family originated in Pallet Town. They've lived in Pewter for upwards of 6 generations (over a hundred years)
Marcus is named after his uncle who disappeared when he was 10 years old.
After Alden's disappearance most of the family went into police and pokemon ranger work.
They also became incredibly close and protective towards each other.
Most of the family has brown and red hair.
Marcus and Lexie spend spends summers with them in Pewter.
Hanukah and the grandparent's birthdays are spent with the entire family.
As a bit of a family tradition, most of the family picked Charmander as their starter.

Personality:He's a quiet and mild-mannered man, he likes helping and doesn't really make a fuss about having to get a job done. He's a big softie when it comes to his grandkids.
Biography: Ephram grew up in pallet town the middle child of three siblings and started in his pokemon journey a bit late, at the age of 12 along with his brothers. Along the way he met up with Maggie. The two eventually came back to Pewter which was her hometown and settled down to raise a family. He has seen his kids and grandkids grow up and still resides in the same house he settled in after he married. He works as a paleontologist and tour guide at the Pewter City Museum.

Personality: She's a tough old lady who takes no nonsense. She's also fairly boisterous in contrast to her husband.
Biography: She's the maternal grandmother to Marcus Bennet. After going on her pokemon journey, she returned home and settled down to have a family. She works as a receptionist for the Pewter City Museum and is a seamstress on the side.

Personality: Serious and authoritative, she can be a bit severe.
Biography: She is the oldest child of Ephram and Maggie Zumbrik, older sister to Eliot, Alden, Matilda, Monica, David and Julia. Aunt to Marcus Lexie and all of their cousins.
She's the chief of police for the Saffron city police department, having gone into police work after her younger brother's disappearance. She's married and lives in Saffron with her two youngest children. Her two oldest are in Jhotho and Unova respectively.

Personality:He's a quiet guy who looks intimidating at first glance. Around his father however, he's a big bear of a man who loves to mess with his family and has a huge booming laugh.
Biography: He's the second of the Zumbrik kids. Eliot left on the same journey that cost his brother's life. To this day he doesn't speak of what happened. This motivated him to join the Ranger Union. He climbed his way through the ranks, making his way to Top Ranger. He has been unable to maintain a stable marriage and is divorced with one child. He is Marcus' favorite uncle.

Name:Matilda Bennet (nee Zumbrik)

Personality:Dtermined, good natured, frank and very causal with people. She has some of her son's prominent personality traits. She is a good somewhat doting mother but her animosity towards her husband can cause her to be absent and somewhat snide when Nick's around.
Biography: Matilda is the mother of Marcus Bennett. Born and raised in Pewter city Matilda like the rest of her family decided to go into the pokemon Ranger business. It was during her training that she met Nick Bennet. The two became friends and when his wife left him they started dating. After becoming his second wife she moved in with him and his two sons.
Matilda tried to take charge of the boys but met her match with the youngest, Harvey. Harvey also resembled his mother the most. When she became pregnant with Marcus she began to worry that all the stress Harvey was bringing would be bad for her pregnancy. It was because of this that she sent Harvey to live with his mother. This is something that contributed to her deteriorating marriage. As she and her husband have begun fighting more she's dedicated more and more time to her job and spends a lot of time in Kanto.

Personality:She's very motherly towards her family despite being one of the younger siblings. She's also slightly neurotic and high-strung.
Biography: Monica is the younger sibling of Matilda Bennet and Marcus' aunt. Growing up as the middle child she was often the one her siblings came to with their problems. This prompted her to get a degree in psychology. Wanting to be more challenged she obtained her degree in Anthropology and works at the Forensic unit in Saffron alongside the FBI and police department. She fell in love with her brothers partner from the Ranger Union, the two now live in Vernillion, a short comnune away from her work with their three children.

Personality: Level headed, analytical. He's probably the calmest of the Zumbriks. He's also the most sarcastic although he's amicable enough to take the sting out what he says.
Biography: He grew up in Pewter city with the rest of his siblings. He was usually the one in the least amount of trouble (and the one to get his siblings out of trouble) due to his calm and amicable demeanor. He opted to pursue a degree in paralegal studies and met his wife while attending college. After earning his degree he opted for a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice and now works as a Special Agent in Saffron's FBI.
