Scorpa'd had enough.

'I'm going to pay you back double this hell.' Dark eyes glared as she wiped her blood off the metal jaws before shoving it back in it's hiding place. Continuing on, she slithered into his hive, carefully poking the ground ahead of her with sticks now out of paranoia. He could be home any minute and she wasn't going to discovered fixing another one of the damn traps. Successfully inside, her eyes examined the main entrance tunnel with confusion. Damn, he hadn't left her with much to work with. Well, she'd deal- heading on into the cobweb infested room, she searched for a good hiding place until she finally found one.

And then she waited.

I read he has a ton of booby traps so I hope I reflected that well. Especially the back-up of back-ups part of him. Also in case it's confusing, as a reminder this is set after the Flydra Pupils PRP. I'll try to keep it vague what happened in there until that RP gets further along.

Dragging the fresh corpse of a howlbeast behind him, Kursha trudged through the snow back to his hive. After a full night of tracking, he had finally caught up with one of the pesky beasts and put an end to it. The others had gotten away, but no matter. If he had yet not struck fear into them already, by the time he finished making an example of his this one they would not dare to come within ten miles of his hive. Still, it was slow going. The beast was nearly as big as he was, and after hauling it for several miles, he was exhausted. He would have to put aside the rest of the work for tomorrow.

When the silhouette of his hive appeared against the rocky mountainside, it came as a huge relief. He increased his pace, eager to be out of the cold and relax. He was not in so much of a hurry to cross directly to it however. Skirting around to the east, Kursha approached his hive from the side to avoid the mine field. It had been too long since he had planted the explosives, and he had no idea where they were or if they were still active. It seemed wiser not to tempt fate.

He had opened the gate and was just about to pass through into the courtyard when something made him pause. On the ground there was a small, barely noticeable spatter of yellow in the snow. Someone had come visiting. Suddenly cautious, Kursha peered around the courtyard. It was as barren and dreary as it ever was. He pulled the dead howlbeast inside and closed the door as quietly.

As he made his way across the courtyard, he spotted a few more traces of blood. Gold. A lot like...

“Eli-bug?” Kursha called, entering the main hall. Inside it was dark and quiet.

What was that? Straining to hear what he'd said, Scorpa did not understand what Kursha's question meant. Instead she took it to mean perhaps his hive was infested with bugs. GROSS. What the heck was Lorata doing admiring someone so nasty? She'd do her best to take care of this greenblood quick and then move onto the next one. Austri would prove a bit trickier but it'd be worth it in the end. Lorata all to herself! And Flydra, of course.

'Closer... closer...' She waited for him to near her trap. Once his foot crossed into her target, a blur of black hair whizzed through the air.

"Hraaaah!" A troll burst down from the ceiling through one of the thicker cobwebs. She'd had to improvise a hiding space with such a barren hive! It was disgusting but had allowed her to set up an ambush. Headbutting straight at the greenblood's stomach, her arms wrapped around him to try and stop him from being able to pull his gun. She needed to disarm him quick!

“What the fu—oof!” As a pair of pronged horns caught him in the ribs, Kursha felt the air rush out from his lungs. He staggered, knees buckling. The tiny, yellow bundle wrapped around his torso like a vicious (and decidedly uncute), baby slothbeast, continuing to scream with vindictive rage as it scrabbled for his gun. Gasping for air, Kursha tried to wiggle free. It had a grip like a vice. So he did the only thing he could think of: he fell forward.

With his assailant pinned beneath him, the greenblood had a moment to catch his breath. He ignored the struggling demon trapped under his weight, as sweet air filled his lungs. Then their grip around his arms began to loosen. Kursha wrenched his shoulders free, and lifting himself off his captive, reached for something slender enough to throttle, ideally a throat.

"You- ********> Scorpa snarled as Kursha, well, crushed her. Unable to lift his weight at her current age, the yellowblood strained to keep enough space so she could breathe and let go of his arms. He eased off for a moment and she gasped for air and a chance to change tactics, only to find his hands around her throat. The yellowblood's eyes widened as he began to choke her. Crap she had to do something fast and had limited options. His gun was out of reach, as was his head. She was a growing girl but her arms were shorter than his. The best she could do was reach his chest. Kicking to try and knock him off, Scorpa felt herself running out of air and energy. Maybe if she-

The girl reached up and dug her nails into the flesh on his chest, clawing along the scar. She didn't know how old it was but maybe the trauma of whatever had caused it would come in handy. She had to try something!

Captain Kursha Vidari

“Son of a...!” Kursha arched his back with a snarl when he felt the nails rake across his chest. A few drops of green blood painted her finger tips. Growling, he seized the yellowblood by the shoulder and flipper her onto her stomach. He wrestled around with her for a few seconds more, before he managed to seize her arms and pin them behind her back.

Panting, Kursha glared down into the back of the yellowblood's skull. He held her to the ground with his knee in the middle of her back. “You have five seconds to tell me who you are and why I shouldn't hang you out for the howlbeasts,” he said.
