6 tHE handsoME oNE 9 ▆Appearance![User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.](https://graphics.gaiaonline.com/images/s.gif)
Blood Color: Blue. A lovely shade of #3B60B8.
Gender: Agender
Symbol: The Leviathan Cross. It's original meaning was related to the concept of the equality of life, but at some point was adopted as a Satanic symbol. It's the alchemical sign for sulfur, under which practice it was used to treat a variety of skin conditions.
Appearance: Reisio and Oisier are nearly identical in appearance, with only minor differences night to night. Overall, their appearance is soft and somewhat reptilian. They have long, flat noses and symmetrical fangs which sit perfectly on their oval faces. The two sport a bowl-cut with the back trimmed into an undercut. While they have a mop of a hairdo, the two lack eyebrows, which calls attention to their one distinctive difference and prominent feature. Both children have a lazy eye – one on either side. This eye is inactive and hangs above their working eye, which affects their eyesight. Reisio’s working eye is their left eye. Their horns are pointed and curve gently outwards, shifting forward at the tips somewhat.

6 oUR wonderfUL liFE togethER 9 ▆Personality
The Mirrim twins are a duo to behold. Both trolls have been inseparable since hatching, literally and figuratively. Upon their wiggler trials the two depended on each other for survival. Not quite physically or mentally the strongest of the grubs, they relied on a very special power that would determine their future together: genetic osmosis. With their identical DNA and the ability to partially merge together, Reisio and Oisier do not consider themselves two separate beings. Rather, they are two equal halves of a whole – a perfect being greater than other “individual” trolls on Alternia. This idea shapes their entire existence, and at this stage of their life there is practically nothing more important than their relationship.
Reisio’s life so far has been defined by their role as a twin (or rather, a part of a greater being). They are most comfortable living life inside the confines of the rules that have been established, especially if those rules have been created by their doting lusii. While this directly relates to their unique belief system, it also corresponds with the hemospectrum and Alternian society. For Reisio, everything must be in its right place. A troll must fulfill their duties wherever they may fall on the hemospectrum. The greater system of society relies on complete unity of the populace, and without that solidarity the system will weaken and the troll race itself will be endangered. This patriotism and code of honor gives them a strong passion for the military and Alternia’s destiny to conquer, though Reisio’s main concerns are with shaping up the Alternian public from a gaggle of wigglers to true soldiers. They are easily frustrated by apathy or do-nothing responses to calls to action (even worse, active rebellion), and strives to represent the “good guys” to compensate for the failures of others and showcase their superiority. Reisio comes across as the more forward twin of the pair because of the compulsion to uphold these strict standards, and unfortunately treating people this way has done nothing for Reisio’s ability to make friends. While they expect the best from those around them, efforts that fall short can mean a quick loss of respect.
Reisio considers blood color to be the determining factor for a troll’s duties on Alternia, but tends to disregard other stereotypes based on caste. However, because of the constant preening from their lusii and powers, they generally view all “individual” trolls as less than themselves and Oisier regardless of hemotype. So, while they may be inclined to stay in line, their lack of tact and firm belief system can spell insubordination if they deem an authority figure “unworthy”. This boldness tends to show most when the two are united, but even when Reisio is apart from Oisier they can be testy with others should they disagree with them.
Attached at the hip (but most often, the torso, back, and most everything else), Reisio is by far most comfortable with their twin. The two do everything together, and are entirely convinced that their destinies are entwined and perfectly identical, just like them. In their childlike ideas of how their future will play out, Reisio is entirely convinced that the two will share quadrant mates, a hive, employment and rank for the rest of their lives. Change may be an inevitability, but Reisio is entirely convinced that they and their twin will simply change together. They are stubborn to a fault concerning this fact, and when challenged or in the event of a possible division between the two, Reisio will become aggressive and shut down the possibility for conflict.
Furthermore, without Oisier around, Reisio reveals their uptight side. They are more withdrawn, lacking an emotional buffer that helps them mediate their temper. Flatparent is no help in the matter, suggesting that Reisio does not need friends to alleviate their dependence on Oisier. Instead, Flatparent enforces the idea that Reisio should assimilate Oisier’s “relaxed” attitude into their own personality.
While the twins both have unique interests, they always make sure that these interests are compatible in their nightly activities. Reisio particularly enjoys exploring and treasure hunting around Alternia. They find the fragments of the past and even hidden secrets of the present to be a part of Alternia’s greater story, and their fascination has resulted in a curiosity in pre-modern Alternian civilizations, architecture and anthropology. Without Oisier around, Reisio generally sticks to quieter locations for fun such as museums where they will read or do research, but their restless attitude also brings them to the gym for training! These locations are prime targets for the troll because they can go about their business uninterrupted..

6 tWO heaDS aRE bettER 9 ▆Strengths and Flaws
▆▆▆Strengths:
Principled Reisio follows a strict code that’s practically compounded by the influence of Alternian culture. They are put together around others and makes sure that things are just right, as they should be. Reisio is willing to lend a hand to honorable trolls, and uses their best judgement to do right by the world which can help them get ahead.
Confident Growing up with constant affirmation has given Reisio the idea that they are justified in their actions, and agreeing with Alternia’s culture at large helps this as well. Reisio is not shy in acting towards their own benefit or the benefit of Alternia, and is a go-getter when making themselves more comfortable or successful in their daily life. They don’t pay much mind to those who oppose them because of their strong beliefs and very rarely doubt themself.
Productive Constant activity is a necessity for Reisio. Even if they aren’t out and about or physically active they must be intellectually stimulated, and this has lead to Reisio using their time wisely and efficiently. In their interests and tasks they are very industrious, and their practical skills and proclivity for learning help them tackle new tasks and challenges..
▆▆▆Flaws:
Co-Dependant Both twins consider themselves made to be with one another. For Reisio, Oisier is a balancing force that binds them together as one – and without them they feel quite vulnerable. Reisio’s aggressive tendencies become amplified when Oisier is either threatened or out of the picture entirely, and when in conversation Reisio is reliant on their twin to back them up. Reisio gets quite frustrated when Oisier and they do not see eye to eye, and because of Flatparent’s preening considers this a fault of their own. The fact that they cannot simply see the other’s point of view and absorb it completely is a personal failing and lack of character, and even minor miscommunications can be met with aggression and a hit to Reisio’s self-esteem. At this point Reisio still believes they can assimilate with Oisier and just hasn’t learned how yet, which contributes to their clinginess.
Dour Neither twin is particularly “high energy”, but Reisio’s mood is particularly stony. They are focused to a fault, so committed to their goals and beliefs that their mood is stubborn with a side of sourness. They can be quite off-putting, feeling no need to interact with trolls who they would ordinarily ignore, and have can shift into irritability quickly. With Oisier they are tempered somewhat, but even then their resolute attitude can be kind of a drag.
Demanding Reisio demands the most out of life, and as a highblood those demands are usually met. Unfortunately for others in the crossfire of this spoiled troll, common mistakes can be seen as crushing errors. The Alternian Way is meant to be upheld, and those who don’t follow simply don’t belong on the planet. With only one thinkpan between them, after all, it’s likely that most trolls on Alternia just won’t get it. Responding to Reisio quickly and correctly will only earn you temporary points in your favor, but making a misstep will be remembered and repeated behind your back between the twins. Unfortunately in the echo chamber of twinhood, gossip can grow into harsh condescension. Reisio has a very difficult time forming friendships and alliances for this reason, and at this point in their naïve youth doesn’t understand why more trolls can’t just think like them..

6 oUR perfeCT parenTS 9 ▆Lusus Naturae
Reisio’s lusus is one half of a large flatworm with remarkable regenerative properties. Flatparent’s origins are nearly as unique and bizarre as that of their charge: during their struggles in the wiggler trials, the twins relied on each other to escape from danger. When they were finally chosen by lusii, the two creatures (spurred by their competitive rivalry) fought violently, resulting in one of the lusii – the original Flatworm lusus - to tear clean in half. The battle was hardfought, however, and the other lusus was forced to retreat. As a result, one creature became two – an entirely suitable lusus for two gifted youngsters. This incredible coincidence has further cemented Reisio and Oisier’s firm beliefs in their one-ness. Having a singular parent with a plural form is not only symbolic but obviously superior to creatures that are unable to regenerate in a similar way. Reisio has a very deep relationship with Flatparent – from the very beginning the lusus has been supportive and active in training their charge to be a responsible citizen. Resourcefulness is something that Flatparent strongly advocates for, especially in the use of Reisio’s powers. Being clever and taking action is an important aspect of a productive troll, and Flatparent sees that combination in their charge when they are around their twin. Flatparent highly recommends the two stay dependent for their combined strengths, thinking their ability to balance each other’s personalities as a superior mode to being separate.
Being a simple organism on the high end of the hemospectrum, elegance and etiquette are set by their own standards – along with social interaction. They have trained their charge to ignore or bypass any troll who isn’t worthy of their time. Reisio follows these rules diligently, taking the lead of what they know rather than chancing being “incorrect” should someone lead them astray.
Because of their lusus’ individual bond to either of them, the twins can tell the lusii apart and feel more connected to their respective parent. However, Reisio and Oisier get personally offended at the thought of someone considering either of their lusii to be the “original” or “alpha” lusus.
