o A symbol that shows everything is connected within the universe and that each life feels like it has big meaning, but in reality it’s just a small part of a bigger system. It also holds true to revenge and war. When one person is killed, other avenge them and soon the cycle continues with more and more people seeking revenge, because everyone has at least one person that cares.
Profile/personality:
Valcia has 2 sides to her personality. She is mostly kind and rational, but there are times when she snaps, and she becomes impulsive and angry. That kinds of becomes trouble to those around her, and understanding her isn’t easy because of these mood changes. A little thing could make her flare up in anger for no apparent reasons sometimes.
She is seems very peaceful. At first, she always tries to find a peaceful way to end things, but that usually doesn’t end up happening. There is usually something that riles her up into being rather violent. The things that usually make her mad are injustice, thieves, and people who think too highly of themselves. For these reasons she prefers to have as less contact as possible with others.
She is kind and helps those who ask her for help that is if you ask her. If you don’t ask her she’s not going to help. That’s because she feels if you don’t ask then you must have everything under your control right? To her it isn’t too hard to ask for something. Humbling yourself to do so in return for something makes sense to her, after all it’s an easy thing to do.
She believes in equivalent exchange. After all if you do something for someone, it is only right for them to do something for you in return, not doing so would almost be like stealing. Giving something up in order to gain something to her is like trading or paying. Because of this, she never tries to be in debt to anyone, and if she is, she will pay them back no matter what. This is also the reason she hates injustice. For example if you took the life of someone, first why would you do that? Second how is that fair? Taking someone’s life and giving nothing in return. To her that is treacherous.
When injustice is done, she cracks, and becomes a different troll all together. What reason should she have to stay calm and think things through? Clearly something was done wrong and she had to fix that. At this time she becomes rather violent and may hurt others. That doesn’t matter to her when she’s like this. The only thing that could quell her would be having justice served. However it may seem she is going on a rampage of some sort, she tries to avoid destroying things due to the inner knowledge that she would never forgive herself if she did something with injustice either.
She hates lying. Lying to her is unforgivable. Lying is just giving false information in return for something that’s usually good. That isn’t fair to the person who gets lied to. The person who lied gets something, but the person tricked gets nothing at all. To her it is clearly injustice. Betraying is something else she won’t take easily either. It’s just a more severe form of lying, a group of lies to use someone then ditch them. How is any of that fair?
Now when she goes off, she tends to do some very destructive things. Not physical stuff, but she gets very annoying and stubborn and may yell at a person when there just doesn't seem to be a reason. She does end up hurting a lot of people's feeling that way. She can’t control herself when it comes to some of the weirdest things like littering, disrespect, or those times when people just give you work to waste your time. She really hates those things. When she accidentally gets herself in a situation, she knows she’s going to blow up when she has a tingly feeling all over her body. She gets light-headed and she knows what's going to happen next. She tries to stop herself, but so far has no success. Afterwards is a disaster. She has to go and apologize and do whatever she can to make up for her destruction. She freaks out and really tries to do everything for the person. It’s so against her principles to destroy someone else’s property. Because of this problem she goes outside less and prefers to stay cooped up in her hive. At least that way everyone is safe from getting their feelings hurt.
Most of her life she spends in her hive. She doesn’t go out much, but the reasons she may go out and have some fun are to see new and different places. She loves quiet places that have trees and beautiful landscape. When she doesn’t go outside she usually stays on her computer and surfs the web. It’s a pretty boring life to her, but she doesn’t really want to do anything else.
At her hive, she tends to her garden every day. Amrita loves gardening a lot. She has a huge garden in her backyard. At first she didn’t want to do it, but when Polloa finally convinced her to do it, she loved it. Sometimes she goes out of her hive to go and find flowers and buy seeds to expand her garden.
Amrita views the hemospectrum system as a nice way of organizing trolls. She doesn’t really think it is fair though. Nobody controls how they are born, so she doesn’t think society should be set up that way. She thinks there should be a different system where trolls aren’t judged by something they can’t control. She does like the respect she gets although she thinks everyone should be treated that way not just highbloods. She doesn’t care too much about her status in society, but she does wish everyone were treated more equally. To her every troll is equal, until they do something that doesn’t make them equal, good or bad. Until then, she looks at every troll pretty equally.
Strengths:
1) Trustworthy – If you ever give her anything, you know you’ll get something in return. She never lies and will try to help as much as she can, unless you do something bad, she’ll be on your side.
2) Helpfulness – When she tries to help others, she will do whatever she can to help.
3) Cautious – She is very careful about those around her. She is always cautious before doing something. It helps her survive in case someone wanted to steal her food or such.
Flaws:
1) Stubborn- Amrita is really, really stubborn. She really wants things done her way, not anyone else’s. If it’s not done her way, she’s not doing anything.
2) Anger issues – She can get angry easily at times, which sometimes causes a burden to those around her.
3) Shy – Since she doesn’t like to talk to others much, due to being afraid of being betrayed, lied to, or hurt, she doesn’t really know how to communicate too well. She also doesn’t approach others easily. She wouldn’t be the one to start up a conversation.
Weapon: A small knife that hangs from her belt. She doesn’t really use it to kill, but uses it to cut vines and harvest crops.
Appearance: Her hair is mostly black, but in front there is a tuff that covers half of her face that is the same color as her symbol. Her hair is worn in a ponytail, except for that tuff, and the ponytail stops at her shoulders. She wears a short black dress with her symbol in the middle. She also has a belt that her knife hangs from. She wears black boots on her feet with dark blue leggings.
Home: Four Fronds-She lives next to a lake in a house she constructed herself from the logs from the forest nearby. There are flowers lining the way to the entrance of her hive. She is very organized as seen with the design of her hive. The logs fit perfectly into each other, making a dry and comfortable shelter. Her home is only one story, but that’s all she really needs: a living room, a bed room, and a kitchen. Her house is really simple and has a nice garden in her backyard. She learned to make this house all by herself with all the tools she’d be given which was just the forest and everything in it.
Lusus: A chicken, birdlike creature. It kind of has a roundish tummy and little wings that helps it fly if it flaps hard enough. She’s fluffy, but really fierce when mad and will peck at others with her sharp beak. She has a sharp beak and don’t underestimate her size, her talons are sharp as well.
She usually nests on Amrita’s head. Amrita doesn’t think much of her Lusus, although she does enjoy the company. Polloa just came to her and has lived with her since. She doesn’t know why and doesn’t really care to know.
Polloa teaches Amrita all about the world and insist on her to enjoy her life and see more, but that doesn’t really register in Amrita’s mind. Polloa gets really frustrated when Amrita locks herself up in her house and keeps from going out. She insists that it is healthy for Amrita to go out and not stay locked up in her room. Not only that Polloa is a freak about being healthy and keeping the world around you healthy too. With enough fussing, Polloa got Amrita to start her own garden. Health is a big thing on Polloa’s mind in case you didn’t notice.
Over time, more and more fussing finally got Amrita to sometimes take a trip somewhere and go exploring. On those times, Polloa perches on her head in high alert for danger. If they came across anything dangerous, Polloa would take care of it.
Polloa is nice. She will try and find an easy way without hurting anyone if there's conflict. Amrita does pick this up from Polloa. The only time where everything goes wrong is when she gets mad, which happens to be 30% of her life. So whenever it came to talking it was Polloa who would speak first.
