The living quarters for the lights. Since it is located in the caves a lot of lights tend to live here as a safe haven.

Fain was extremely shocked when Orion had picked him up and had tried to refuse, but Orion wouldn't listen to him. So he gave in and let him go to the room. He was concerned though because Orion had just woken up from being unconscious, Fain didn't want him to over exert himself.

In the room he was set down in one of the chairs slightly annoyed, but happy to be with his old friend again.
"You know that strawberry shortcake was left behind in your office." He reminded Orion amused. "Also I'm a little hungry if you have any food to eat."
He turned reading the bookshelves looking for something to read. Picking up a book about legends and myths he opened it scanning for any that applied to the old church or Fae's.

Leon turned to Fain absent-mindedly.
"Yes. I will go get it." he said, as he returned to his study.
He came back shortly after, with the cake in his hands.
Grabbing some utensils and plates, he sliced a piece of the cake for Fain, handing it to him on the plate.
"Here." he said, as he went to his cupboard.
When he opened it, all the snacks that he had stored in there fell out on top of him.
"........"
Picking them all up, he dumped them in front of Fain, like an offering.
"Would you like some tea." he eventually said, as he stared at Fain, sitting across directly across from him.

Fain flipped through the pages reading before stopping on a page and reading about some
supposedly lost isles and the riches they contained. Orion shortly returned offering him cake. He set down the book and graciously accepted it.
"Thank you." He took a bite and watched him open a cupboard and a mountain of snacks fell out. It was even more surprising to have them placed before him nearly up to his head height. "Yes." He nodded his head and went back to eating his cake. "You really haven't changed much.
Still obsessed with snacks and tea." He smiled happily at the other who set down a pot of tea on a table between them. After a few minutes of brewing, Fain sipped at the tea coating his dry throat from the cake. "How did you survive Orion on your own and arrive here?" He asked the question has been on his mind for a while now.

As Leon brewed the tea, he stayed silent.
Then, he turned his gaze on to Fain.
"I had the good fortune of running into an elven tribe after my exile." he said, as he dropped one sugar cube after another into his tea, "They took care of me before I ran into Luna."
He stirred his tea, taking a slip and then frowning, dropping a few more cubes into it.

He waited for Orion to continue in silence before he realized that was going to be all the other would spill. "I'm glad you found a tribe willing to take you in." He said simply with a painful smile that he couldn't do more as a child for him. He looked down into his tea cup at his own reflection thinking a second or two, "I'm sorry, I couldn't stop them." It was a quiet whisper almost inaudible, and it hung in the air making the tea and cake taste bitter to him.

Leon placed his tea cup down.
"Don't be." he said simply, "There was nothing either of us could do."
He stayed silent for a moment, before patting the bed beside Fain.
"Sleep. You need time to recover."

An unknown fear was quieted at Orion's reassurance. For whatever reason Fain was sure that Orion might have despised him all these years and that's why they never found each other again. Then why did he forget? Was it too painful? He looked at Orion skeptically doubting that was the reason, but wasn't sure whether or not to ask. His skepticism disappeared when Orion offered him to sleep here instead of back in his room. He smiled thankfully instead and nodded his head.
"Thank you, Orion." He noted how rarely used the bed seemed with its perfectly laid out sheets that looked brand new. "Still don't sleep much I presume." He sat down at the edge of his bed taking of his boots before settling down to sleep. He smiled slyly, "Well at least I'll know your guarding me." Before closing his eyes and sighing softly quickly falling asleep tired from the little sleep he had the night before.

Leon watched Fain in silence as he fell asleep.
His mind was in chaos, even though his face remained calm and composed.
Zana. He remembered.
He still needed to check on the succubus.
After all, Fain was almost killed by her earlier.

Leon frowned at that thought.
He picked up his pure white, feather pen.
"Exsolvo." he said quietly, as the feather elevated into the air, surrounding by a gentle, golden glow.
The feather disappeared, replaced by a golden mirror.

Leon waved a hand across its surface, sending ripples across his reflection.
"Lost Ruins." he said, as the image in the mirror shifted to show him the requested location.
His eyes scanned every corner of image, before tilting his head.
Not there.
He instructed the mirror to display every location he knew of, until his attention was captured at the Cerulean Caves.
There you are.
He watched as the succubus leaped gracefully along the watery paths, observing her every moment.

Interesting.

As the succubus exited, he waved his hand over the mirror again.
"Vincio."
The mirror returned to its feather pen form, drifting gently on to his desk.

Asleep Fain soon began to dream...

"Orion! Look at this new magic book I have. It has more advanced related to holy magic besides just the simple blessings and prayer like before." A young Fain scampered over a a fallen log. His bag barely bouncing as he jumped over a root weighed down by spellbooks, notes, and treats to share with his friend. The poured over the books before Fain grew bored and wanted to try practicing it. He smiled mischievously at the smaller boy excited about his idea. He slung an arm around Orion's shoulder, "Hey, you know those caves nervy? Well, apparently there are some cursed creatures there that I'm sure we could test the spells against. Let's go!" Before Orion could protest Fain had already half dragged him there excited about defeating monsters with his knowledge. He also felt his a little bit of pride at the idea he might impress Orion with his skills.

Standing before the mossy cave the bravery and boldness he ahead just been feeling diminished a little but not enough that he was going to back down.
Grinding broadly at his friend he said, "You be the look for anything that might come when I'm in the cave." He waved and trotted in mumbling 'Luxiano' and waved his hand creating a ball of light. Parting the moss he entered moving stealthily lest he disturb something he was unable to handle.

Unbeknownst to him, as Oriom waited outside the supposed creature had returned to its den. It rumbled past the trees, smelling the air nothing unfamiliar scents. He roared and charged through the brush coming to the mouth of cave right in front of Orion.

Inside the cave quickly came to and end Leaving Fain confused and disappointed. Turning to tell Orion the news a cry echoed down the cave. Recognizing the voice Fain began running not worried that his light had winked out as he lost focus. Pushing through the moss he noticed that a bear had cornered Orion and that he was bleeding from a scratch on his arm Frightened Fain kicked a rock at his foot trying to distract the bear and turn it's attention onto him. The bear now angered began running towards him just barely giving him enough time to cast a weak flame spell that triggered the animals instinctual fear and ran off.

The danger now gone, Fain ran over to check on Orion who was sitting at the base of a tree holding his arm.
"Orion are you okay?" He pulled up the sleeved checking to see how deep the scratch was. Luckily. it was just a faint scratch and was easy enough to heal. Still not once had Orion cried or spoke p, he just simply nodded lost in his own thoughts. He hugged him and apologized, "I'm sorry it was a stupid idea." He pulled away, "Next time you can pick what we do?" They returned safe enough just shaken from the whole experience, but now the memory shifted.

As he opened his house's door, it transported him to a different location than expected. He was floating in a completely black, foggy room where there was little sound or movement. Hesitantly he stepped inside making his way as best he could in the dark. After endless walking he came upon a new noise. It sounded like laughter and shouting between friends. Up ahead was Fain and Orion traveling through the forest present day normal and relaxed except similarly Fain was dragging him to an unknown location excited to show off his new discover.

It seemed happy till there were attacked by faceless creatures distorted and shifting not taking a specific shape and or making a distingushable sound. Fain watched helpless as they soon ravaged both of them leaving nothing behind except for trampled grass and spine smallest drip of blood which was soon cleaned up by it tongue less mouth. But during the fight he had watched himself disappear leaving Orion to fend of the creatures alone. Maybe together they would have won, but separate Orion was soon pinned leaving the creatures to freely destroy him. Like all nightmares once the horrible scene had been finished, Fain was able to move again running over to the clearing searching for any sign that Orion had been killed there. Falling to his knees depressed and horrified he began crying. "It's all my fault...I be the death of him. It was a mistake..." The scene once again shifted to a third point of view where he witnessed his own death by the horrible creatures.~~~

Waking up gasping for air Fain clutched his hand to his chest trying to calm his pounding heart beat. His eyes were slightly wild as he searched the room for his friend. Barely able to see as his eyes had not adjusted he stumbled to his feet to reconfirm his existence. Chilled and frightened he wasn't able to walk properly still disoriented. Finally noticing his friend's silhouette he made his way over throwing his arms around the ither's neck and squeezed tightly. "You're not dead..." He sighed full of relief and moved his head forward to look at what he was doing and to peek at the other's face. At his voice Orion had moved his head to face him causing their faces to collide and ending up with their lips, nose, and foreheads brushing.

As soon as Leon stopped his observational duties, Fain woke up.
Turning around at the sound of Fain's voice and his arms around his neck, Leon found himself face to face with the other face, their foreheads, lips, and nose touching.

"............"
Leon dropped his feather pen, but otherwise his expression remained unchanged.

Shocked Fain jumped away and turned walking over to sit back in the bed. "Sorry... didn't mean to do that." He kept his distance realizing that anything how did probably wouldn't work right exhausted and sluggish from sleep.
"You...died in my dream so I wanted to make sure that you were still here." He looked at Orion expressionless as ever the only him that h had been surprised was the abodonded feather on the floor. "Sorry, if I disturbed you in anyway." He nodded once more trying to convey his sincerity before laying back down and pulling the blankets over him trying to fall back asleep unsuccessfully.

Leon watched as Fain returned to his bed.
"......"
He picked up the feather pen, turning it in his hands, deep in thought.
After a while, he spoke up.

"Let's run away together." He suggested, as if he were simply asking Fain to accompany him on a nice picnic.

He needed some time to think.
No, they needed some time to think.
100 years was but a blink of time to Fae-kind, yet it was still too too long.

Leon knew that they needed some time off alone to think about the future, now that they are reunited again.
In the midst of the gruesome winds of struggle before a bloody storm, they needed to prepare.
Prepare for the worst that could happen in a war.

Orion's sudden statement jolted Fain from his drowsy state of mind. Sitting up e looked over at the blue-haired Fae. He tried following his reasoning that led to this question. Why did he use that phrasing? It confounded him that Orion was suggesting running away not once did he ever mention it as children. Why after all this time did he suddenly decided to run away, and it was sudden especially for a careful planner and strategist as Orion. He titled his head and his brow furrowed in serious thought. Sure, they had a lot to catch up on, but leave to do so. What was different now than as children? Was it because they could take care of themselves or was it for some alternative reason. He looked up at Orion's face, "Alright, if you think it's a good idea..." He felt hesitant. The idea of leaving Luna and the Lights any longer than necessary worried him, but if Orion was asking then it must be fine or a serious matter. "When should we leave?" He slid out of the bed pulling his boots on ready to go at that very moment.

Leon looked at Fain, noticing his slight hesitation and confusion.
"Whenever you are ready." he said, as he watched Fain put on his shoes, ready to go.
Leon grabbed his cloak, tucking the feather pen inside it, along with a few other items that they may eventually need later.
Then, he nodded at Fain, before the two headed out to a destination unknown to them.
