Jaro is really only concerned with himself and things he considers to be his. That isn't to say he's nasty or unlikable, he's actually the opposite. He's personable, funny, and interesting but he's really only looking out for himself and the things he owns (or considers his) - including his scrapyard.SELFISH SCRAPPER
ALL WORK NO PLAY MAKES JARO A DULL BOY
With a self imposed limited social circle and a lack of anything new in his life, Jaro has found himself in some sort of slump. His art has also suffered. Jaro has hit some sort of stalemate with life.
He has no drive, no passion, nothing moving him forward. Lack of motivation has left a hole he has been filling with mind numbing work. Even his passion for connecting with people, the curious desire that left broken hearts in his wake, has left him.
Jaro seeks something to catch his eye and spark his interest, anything interesting enough to rouse his creativity and curiosity again, but he currently seems to be making no effort at all to help himself.
THE MISSING PIECE
There's always just the right piece of something around to finish a project, whether its the perfect shape, size or material - the world provides. Living in a scrapyard, it's not likely he'll every realize. ANYTHING ELSE?
Jaro is overly smooth and charming, with a permanent smirking face. He seems very cool until you realize how self serving he is and how easily bored with others he can become. He can lapse into being terse or demanding when his patience runs low and his outright anger can be explosive when prompted. His own amusement sometimes seems to come paramount. He isn't hated by everyone though, particularly fun or quirky people, people who face his own s**t with theirs head on, people not afraid to headbutt with him, will become favorites of his and he forms close bonds with those he cares about.

- Goes by Jaro (pronounced Yahr-oh). His full name is not disclosed to many and it's also become the name he works under as an artist.
- mixed race american, caramel skin, faint freckling, green eyes, thick auburn hair usually pulled back or in braids. Likes beads and bangles. Influence Album Here.
- He's not from Ashdown. Jaro came here approximately 10 years ago when he inherited the scrapyard from his uncle. He's from warmer climes and generally hates the cold.
- One of 6 children.
- Comes from a family of business owners. He's worked in almost all of the businesses that they run, including helping his older brother blacksmith and also working as a mechanic in a cousin's shop.
- Considered one of the least responsible of all of his siblings.
- About 7 years ago he started welding scrap into sculptures in his free time. It's a bit like folk art but he has a flair for it, enough to have some people call him an 'artist'.
- Those for an ear for town gossip may know of his history of promiscuity and tendency to take on part time workers that he then beds and discards.
-He's a hoarder, but very picky about what he hoards. You won't find piles of newspapers in his home, but it's packed full of things he's become just too attached to.
