With a love for cooking, Nasir finds himself at home in a kitchen. In there he can make food for those he cares for and help ensure that they never go hungry. VAGABOND HEART
From a family that believed in communal living as well as never being stationary for too long, Nasir never stayed in one place more than a year and sometimes for as little as a month. It has left him without a true sense of home even if he has a strong belief in family (as his family is large and welcoming and will always take care of you if you need it). As he got older he found that while he cared greatly for his family, not having one place to call home or even that many belongings weighed on him greatly.At one point his family settled briefly in Ashdown. Here he discovered that he was nothing like other people his age. It bothered him because for as diverse as his upbringing was, it left him feeling very closed off from the possible social bonds outside of his family. He saw the chance to break out on his own when they decided to leave and he did not want to. More than old enough to be out on his own, with plenty in the town to keep him occupied (including going to college which was a big deal for him), he quickly found a place that he could stay and, maybe, call a true home.
Nasir worked as a cook of varying degree in various restaurants all around Ashdown to help pay for college (along with college loans, pls help him) and is currently still attending.
It still weighs on him sometimes the way that he was raised. Sometimes his friendliness and openness is odd, especially when it comes to strangers. He finds himself at home in large groups despite preferring smaller one on one sessions. Not that this stops him from reaching out and forming friendships (but sometimes he does get tired from too much socializing). Never mind that the young man can definitely smooth things over with the great food he can make. Need snacks for that party? Talk to Nasir and he might be able to help you out!
JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR
When it comes to the kitchen, Nasir always seems to have just what he needs on hand to finish the dish he's cooking. Even when he thought he was going to run out, there's just enough to get it out to the table and be amazing. (The food being amazing has nothing to do with his dreamer power, he's just a great cook.)ANYTHING ELSE?

- might eventually decide to go off to a real culinary school but until then happy with working towards a business degree so he can one day run his own restaurant.

- is well aware that most would say that wil takes advantage of him. will just ignore any comments regardless. nasir is not stupid, he's well aware, but somethings just are and the friendship with wil is one of those things.
