Tommy had never been to the Haunted House on his own before. Actually, he'd never been there before at all until now. He had heard tell that it was the type of place you really didn't want to end up on a mission at, especially alone, but here he was, and there really wasn't much he could do about it, now.
Well, except try not to die, of course.
While being very aware of the dangers, the mist trainee had been wandering the halls for what felt like hours now, and beyond the occasional somewhat spooky occurrence, some freaky decor, and a few strange looking ghost like things floating about here and there, everything seemed to actually be a bit boring.
That was, until he rounded a corner and ended up in what appeared to be a cave. Again, he had heard about the House's ability to change, for it's rooms to not always just be rooms, but hearing about it and experiencing it were two very different things. He was taken aback, both by his surroundings and more so by the sudden damp cold that chilled him to the bone. He shivered, and backed up, turning around to go back the way he came only to find himself faced by stone walls, and no exit in sight.
And then the jingling sound caught his ear, and he whirled, squinting through the dim blue glow of lights for the source of the sound that seemed to echo from everywhere at once. His weapon, Jaina, was summoned, and his hands were soon encased in gauntlets with spiked knuckles and mounted crossbows, which he deftly strung so that they would be ready to fire if needed.
"Hello?" He called out, taking a step away from the wall, his own Italian accented voice echoing through the cavern, "Is somebody there?"

There was no answer, and the jingling had, rather abruptly, stopped, which only made Tommy more paranoid as his gaze swept back and forth, with one arm held pointing a crossbow one way, and his other pointing another.
Suddenly, the sound of jingling came again, the movements seeming quicker than before, though with the echoes it may have just been his imagination. He whirled, searching for movement, but again, saw nothing.
He narrowed his eyes, took a deep breath, and was just about to step away from the wall behind him and begin to search, when the sound of shattering glass against stone made him jump, his nerves completely on edge. Jaina was yammering away in his head, offering not so much any helpful suggestions as she was unhelpful commands. The jingling again soon followed the shattering of glass, and Tommy took a deep breath again, attempting to calm himself and focus. The sound...where was it's source? He thought he had it pinpointed, he turned, and----
A stinging sensation as something struck his side, a glancing blow against his shield, but enough to catch his attention. His eyes finally met that of his assailant, and with barely a thought, he aimed one fist, and fired off an electric blue bolt in her direction. What was she? From the distance and in the dim light, she appeared at first so human. But as her intent was obviously to harm, he saw no reason not to retaliate.

There it was, an attack. Na'ima let out a hiss of pain followed by a cackle as she was hit with the typical Hunter retaliation, a hand pressing to her side as she shook her head and also shook the sickle at him. "You are a very long way from home, little hunter," she scolded as one would a naughty child. She then gave the chain a quick twirl again, throwing it with as much of her energy as she could and pulling hard.
Once that was done she tugged, tugging and tugging until her weapon was returned to her. She would continue to do so even if it was still connected to his body, just until it was free. No big deal to a hunter, right? "And all alone. That is not something I see often, normally you are always in packs. Like frightened animals." The weapon was twirled again, moving in a blur of silver as she began to lazily circle the boy. Ugh, after all that effort she wanted to go back to bed now. Putting her all into that strike had been a mistake.
She was making quite a few poor decisions today.

Seussi ...SHE'S NOT GOING TO ATTACK FOR A LITTLE BIT, I THINK. I DIDN'T THINK THAT WOULD WORK MY FEAR ATTEMPTS USUALLY FAIL. She's going to defend for awhile...I blame the house.

Horsemen!
The thought was not his own, but was his weapons, and she sounded incredibly sure of herself. Not a normal Halloween dweller, not a Reaper, as Jaina was, and to her, that left little room to debate. And besides, the way she dressed, the style of her weapon. It just fit. Following this realization, Tommy's weapon began to curse like a spitting cat, scolding him as if this were somehow his fault, before making it clear that he had better find away out of this.
The Italian hunter swallowed hard, his mouth suddenly feeling quite dry. If it was indeed a horsemen as Jaina insisted, then he thought he might be in a bit of a pickle. From what he had heard, at least, these beings were supposed to be relentless, heartless, and they hated hunters more than anything.
He licked his lips, and kept his eyes locked on hers, second crossbow held at the ready as he watched her carefully. "I just thought I would take a little solo excursion. After all, no creature has been foolish enough to attack me before now." He feigned confidence, and threw a cocky smirk her way to top it off. "Now, maybe you should be smart, and leave me be."
He'd hoped it would make her pause and reconsider, but it seemed it did not. She struck, surprisingly swift, her sickle wrapped around him, blade digging into his side. Something was already making him feel cold...weak in a way that he couldn't quite describe, but now, there was only pain, as before he could struggle free, she began to pull the weapon back, cutting it deeper into his shield, a burning ache forming as his shield began to strain beneath the pressure.
He tried to free himself by moving forward and giving the weapon some slack, while tearing away the sickle from his body with one gauntlet clad hand. Eventually, with a hiss, and a twist of his body, the sickle fell to the ground, and when he finished his rotation, it was to let loose another bolt, this one aimed for her face, or at least, where he assumed a face would be.

Ugh. He talked just how she predicted he would. Na'ima huffed a breath under the cover of her veils, golden eyes rolling as he went on like some big important creature. That was what Hunters were. Creatures. Things to be taken out, exterminated, and if not exterminated then taken apart and studied. Thoroughly. This one looked weak, perhaps he could be her first live subject.
"Your name," was all she said in reply to his posturing. It was spoken as a command, sickle in hand and looking ready to attack at any moment. As an arrow came flying at her face she raised her weapon, deflecting it away from her face and into her shoulder instead. She grunted, glad for the veils and scarves covering the look of pain on her face. She wasn't a warrior, not like Wrath.
