RELUCTANT GROWN-UP
Adulthood and all of its associated responsibilities snuck up on Finn, and now he's twenty-five and still trying to get the number of the bus that hit him. He's done his best to step up to the plate, got a job and an apartment and learned how to be a really unselfish friend and tell jokes that are funny and not cruel... but deep down, he's still looking for validation and for someone to tell him it's all okay. He's an adult, sure, but that doesn't mean he feels completely ready to actually be one. RELUCTANT GROWN-UP
OF COURSE IT'S PERSONAL
Finn plays his cards a little too close to his chest, and takes everything and anything bad that happens to him extremely hard. Even if something happens that is completely beyond his control, Finn is sure that there must be something he could have done to prevent it. He takes rejection as a sign that he must have done something wrong, even if it's just the luck of the draw. After all, why look to other people for a place to place the blame, when it's easier to just beat yourself up about it? Finn is extremely resistant to let other people take responsibility, even if something is clearly their fault - he figures it must somehow come back to him - and has trouble convincing himself to take action and help others, for fear of ******** up. ROADTRIPPER
Finn drives a shitty 1998 Jeep Wrangler that everyone expects to stop working any day now, and with good reason - the fuel gauge is stuck at a quarter tank, and has been for years. One could chalk this up to mechanical malfunction, but the observed effect is wholly magical in nature - the empty light never comes on, and Finn never runs out of gas. PATHFINDER
Finn always knows where he's been, and can find a way where-ever he wants to go. Even if that means offroading. While he can't pass through, say, a manned barricade, or a staff-only door, he can get from point A to point B pretty easily.ANYTHING ELSE?
Finn goes by his middle name - his first name is "Huckleberry."
