The pit of his stomach was starting to growl once again. Though Itzal was too lazy to go and hunt. Of course he wanted food, although he did not want to take the effort into hunting it himself. Perhaps he could find someone who had food who he could just swindle out of it again. The last time he had done so had been quite effective, now just to find someone to do the dirty work for him. But who? At the moment the Earth Tribe member was quite alone.

He'll just have to wait till someone came to him. That was his way, putting in too much effort was a waste of a good lazy day.

Heavenly Snow

 

[Heavenly Snow]

Helki was gliding low on the air currents when her stomach alerted her that it could wait no longer for food. She loved food but not as much as flying, so a brief war erupted in her mind before she settled on landing and searching for food. Glancing down she saw a spot that looked promising and landed. She shook herself and folded in her wings closely before sniffing the air and looking around.

She padded along, her head slight low and her eyes looking about in search of her next meal. Hopefully a big meal so she could fly longer. She sighed. Coming to the ground was a much as her home tribe was crap for growing food, but the ground is dangerous for a wind balam. She could her hold her own for a bit but she was still small and still delicate and her wings could get injured and trap her to the ground. What a terrible thought....wait is that a berry bush? She trotted over and sniffed around the bush and only saw a few berries. Her ears flopped to the side in disappointment but she ate up what berries where there.

A light breeze rose up as she sat there savoring the few berries but her nose caught a scent in the air and she froze. There was another balam and very close by.
