As always, Venus' party was a hit- for some at least. Others would be waking up feeling rather... interesting. Had those been nightmares or had it all actually happened? Perhaps someone drank a bit too much wine. Ah well, you could either dwell on it or make a beeline for the island paradise!
As soon as the Love Boat made its landing, the passengers are let off in order to do what they pleased. Two cherubs are standing at the bottom of the ramp waiting to greet the new guests. There's a larger cherub in a tiny little suit and stuck-on mustache, and a smaller cherub with a dark wig and hula skirt holding a big armful of leis. It's a little baffling she can hold so many when they are longer than her own body. The cherubs bow their heads and in their chipmunk-like voice try to sound prestigious and welcoming in a weird made-up accent, "Welcome to Fantasy Island. Please enjoy your stay." As the Pae disembark the little hula-cherub drapes a lei around their necks.
They could check into the hotel and rest up in the beautiful suite booked for them. Inside of the grand hotel they would find an all you can eat buffet and a well stocked bar. If they were full from breakfast they could always hit up the activity room for games or other indoor past times.
Outside they had a wide range of things to keep them occupied. They could spend their day on the beach or in the ocean snorkeling, riding waves on boogie boards, and swimming. If salt water isn't their favorite, they could lounge by the large, fresh water pool.
There were also island hiking tours that would take the Pae away from the water and more inland towards the mountain. They could choose to take a self-guided tour towards the mountain's waterfalls or hot springs. Either were not a big hike, and wouldn't take the Pae long to find and enjoy the relaxation of both areas.
One thing passengers were asked not to do was enter the jungle sitting behind the hotel. They would not be liable for any injury that would occur if a Pae decided to adventure off the beaten path! This area wasn't relaxing and actually served as the house for some of the island's wild animals. |

This is an RP event and with every RP event comes PRIZES! In order to be eligible for these prizes, be sure to follow the rules found below. Anyone found breaking them will be warned or possibly removed from the event and all chances of prizes (for the WHOLE event) revoked.
All arrow affects have worn off by the time they landed on the island. Your Pae are back to normal EXCEPT for those hit by Adelphos and Iordanes. Adelphos' arrows made any effects last the duration of the EVENT rather than just through the event and anyone hit by Iordanes' arrows could end up with babies (pregnant), so it would make more sense ICly for canon purposes if they remained that gender.
Feel free to start RPing like normal, but keep an eye out for prompts!
When prompted you will be given a hint and a choice to make! Be sure to clearly state the choice you will be making and quote Mysteries. If we have to guess we wont count it.
It's a bit like a create your own adventure, so take the prompt and run with it. We want to see creativity!
Erotes/Graces are off duty at this point and free to move about the island as they please. They can join in on the game or chill on the boat.
Any complaining, godmoding, nastiness (towards people, RP-wise, or in general) etc. could have you kicked from the event or made ineligible for prizes.
Don't expect others to RP with you. Some times you have to make the effort yourself. Since this is an RP event your chance at prizes only depends on you. It doesn't depend on partners or anyone else. If a partner isn't replying, move on or focus on another character.
Have fun with it! RP is about trying things, building a story, not just waiting for things to fall into your lap. So go for it!
Quote the player with their Pae name in the quote. This helps keeps things from being confusing.
Have your Pae's name somewhere in your post. If a staffer has no idea who the post is for, it wont be counted. We don't have time to go searching every time you post.
Do not delete your posts. We can see if you do in the logs!

The arrow did wear off, not that it was probably evident.
The morning came much too soon for the Deity. Goddess of early mornings she was not. However, there were things to be done and an isle to enjoy. Leaving her companion where he was, a kiss off affection before she finally got a move on. After a bath and wardrobe change she'd be ready. For the island, she chose to forgo her usual dress and bodice. This time Harmonia chose to go out in a bikini top tied tightly around her chest secured with a bow and a mini skirt ruffled with a ribbon of its own. In honor of both her Champion and Mother, the Goddess went with a deep red outfit and gold ribbon accents (this outfit, red instead of tan and gold instead of brown). For now, she braided her still wet hair into a waterfall braid letting the rest cascade down. There was another gold ribbon around her left wrist in case she needed to secure it better.
Sending Jake the Churib on a run, she procured two yellow and white frangipani. One left for Tristen and the other placed in her hair next to her right ear. Satisfied, she left the ship eager to start the vacation. Though the sad side of the cherubs trying to hand out lei much too long for their little bodies was too much to just walk by. They were not just little gofers, well not completely. "Let me help." Proceeding to offer a little more hospitality, she tired her hand at assisting the Cherubes in handing out the lei to the soon to be departing guests.

Last night was embarrassing. Even as she woke up alone tangled in silks, memories of the spectacle she must have made of herself was still fresh in Lillibeth's mind. Most all were occupied with themselves so maybe no one noticed. All the same, something like that wasn't going to get her down. Oh no, the harpy cleaned herself up, ditched the costume and flew off the ship with her head held high. Sure there was a gangway and two cherubs below along with a Goddess, Venus's runt, but that didn't mean anything to her. Rather she flew past them all going further towards the accommodations. The forest certainly was hard to ignore. With no need to venture she just took notice of it and moved on. |

The world was on fire. Or maybe it was just his eyeballs. Cause they sure burned like fire. Giving his closed peepers a rub, he rolled over and pulled the covers over his head. Then he let out a groan. He had just remembered why the world seemed way too bright.
Between the drink and the tom foolery, Pelagious had appearently had one hell of a night. He groaned again and attempted to bury his shame as well as himself a little deeper under the covers. Goddess help him, it was going to be one of them days if anyone remembered.
He briefly reviewed last nights events, those that he could remember clearly. Maybe it wasn't as bad as he thought. Maybe he hadn't seemed such a fool. Maybe he hadn't cried because he lacked boobs. Maybe no one had noticed him singing to...
"Dear Goddess in her Heavenly realm!!"
He quickly sat up in bed, panic gnawing at him. As the covers slid off him unoticed, he reviewed his review of the events and gave a mighty swear at what he discovered.
He had seranaded a God. And asked another for advice on setting up the seranaded God. Dear Goddess, was there no shame in a drunk?
Growling, he threw what was left of the covers and lurched to his closet. "This will not do. Apologies must be made." he mumbled sorting through his many suitcases. "Where is the lime green... Ah yes. Here it is! Now the sandals... Oh fiddles. I coulda swore I brought them... Oh yes....Under the fringe..."

A few hours later, showered, coifed, and dressed, he sashayed his way down the gangplank and onto the island. His lime green daisy dukes were offset by the thunderous yellow halter top he was sporting. Completing the little ensemble was a pair of cherry red, strappy wedge heeled sandals. The kind that fastened around his legs and lower calf like a ballerina. His hair was curled and artfully gelled to hang over his new, handpainted rainbow sunglasses. Oh yes. Pelagious felt like a runway model.
Thanking a little cherub for the lei, he decided to begin his search inside the hotel. Gods liked hotels, didn't they?

Harmonia was too stunned by Pelagious to even speak to him as he owned his walk towards the hotel. Instead she said a little prayer hoping Venus protected Pothos. Just getting over that view, a cat creature appeared and spoke to the Cherub directly. Rather than interrupt, she just cast a look at the directions given, one eye brow raising up in response to the hike idea. As the feline walked off she called out, "Avoid the Jungle."
The other may or may not have heard her, wasn't a concern of hers either way. Her job was over, this was just helping out the welcoming party until a sister took over, she got bored or her mortal came to join her.
Wolfs Heart Harmonia called after Bastet who may or many know have been close enough to hear.
What in the name of great Venus and Mayu was that?! Lillibeth could not miss the brightly dressed pae if she tried. After one glance, she really really tried. Serious in the name of what possessed him to dress like that? Soaring above, the harpy shadowed his path to the hotel almost entranced but just what she was seeing. Following Pelagious into the hotel, the harpy was really thinking of how much of a favor she would be doing for him to just throw a table cloth over him.
Though the utter confidence was just as curious.

 To say the night before had been crazy would be an understatement. Caine was barely able to comprehend why he'd followed that crazy guy onto the stage, and then wherever else the rest of the night. Maybe it was just because the guy was super cool and really awesomely fabulous and looked really good in women's clothes. The last one perplexed him a bit, but Caine wasn't one to judge.
The clawed shetani stretched, clicking his claws a little as he disembarked the ship. Oh, there were really pretty flower necklaces! He squeaked happily as he walked to the line to receive one. He smiled, clicking his claws together in a happy expression as the cherub lei'd him. "Thank you, it's gorgeous!" He squealed, trying not to squish, what he assumed was a she, into a hug. Caine was busy trying not to think about how crazy the pae he'd been with was to have noticed the very bright man walk down the dock and towards the hotel.
Violet eyes searched the area, looking for anyone to speak with. There was a gorgeous oddly winged pae just up ahead he could say hello to. He could swear she looked super familiar. It took him a moment, but it finally clicked. This was the lovely woman who'd greeted him when he first arrived on the boat! "Hi! Thank you so much for everything, this has been a really really fun trip!" He gushed, hoping she wouldn't find him to be an inconvenience.

Well, at least this moral didn't walk past her like she wasn't even standing there, it was an improvement. Harmonia smiled to the oddly clawed male and replied, "I am thrilled you are enjoying your trip, blessed Venus can really throw a party can't she?" It really bugged her that she hadn't seen her mother this whole trip. Something big was bound to happen. The Goddess of love wouldn't miss a party, but waiting to appear until the big moment was not off at all.
As he didn't seem phased by the chaos she guessed, "This isn't your first Venus party, I take it?" That or he really didn't notice the oddities. Ether way, if he was going to stand there and talk to her, it was only polite to make conversion.

[CURRENT ARROW EFFECTS: PSYCHE (SOULMATE -> AQUARIOUS) & ADELPHOS (EXTENDED PSYCHE)]
As Thulani emerged from the ship, hand in hand with the absolute love of his life (a feeling that had yet to alter in the slightest from how it had felt last night), he looked down to her, smiling, before motioning to a little pamphlet he held in his free hand. "Says hur that there's this waterfall hike'n here. Do ya... think ya might wanna do that?" he suggested, figuring that she'd enjoy not only the relative quiet of the hike, but also the potential to find some new flowers. Maybe they could press them and bring them back to the city as a reminder of the trip.
As they came to the cherubs and goddess, Thulani smiled sheepishly as he accepted the small trinket. "So Miss..." he realized he didn't actually know her name, and just went with it, "...tha waterfall hike is over thur, right?"

There was a parallel as she added herself, "These events are where I see most of my family as well." Seeing her own father was surprise, one that she enjoyed a great deal even if there was little interaction. For good or bad, she loved to see her family having fun and causing chaos. It was nice that mortals had the same benefit. This mortal was certainly one that this event was made for.
Glancing around the island she continued to listen to his excitement and treasured the enthusiasm. "Oh the world is much larger than you realize. This is my first time to this particular island. The ship was a pleasant change of place." Was that to keep from messing up Venus' temple like what tends to happen during these events? It was the best idea though, Her room was particularly amazing.
Another mortal approached, this one appeared to be an angel with lovely spotting. As he didn't seem to know her name either, there was perfect chance to introduce herself. It wasn't likely she'd remember but still, "I am Harmonia, Deity of Harmony, who might you all be?" It was only polite. Attention certainly deserved a little reward. To answer his question she nodded her head slightly and answered, "Yes, the cherubs here have a self guide to assist. I am sure it will be spectacular. I believe another mortal was on her way as well." The more the merrier, surely. It was somewhere she intended to go eventually as well. Maybe a moonlight tour with her Champion? Now that sounded romantic.

Caine fought back a frown as she admitted to seeing her family mostly at these parties. Family should really see each other more often than that. But she was being so nice to him! He couldn't, shouldn't, say anything about that! He kept smiling, bouncy and excited.
"Really? I wonder how much more of the world is out there? I bet you've seen all of it~" He really was excited about that part. How could he not be? There was so much of the world she'd just told him about! He didn't even know where to start fantasizing about it all! And then she asked his name! The clawed shetani blushed, trying not to squeak. He really was speaking with a goddess! Oh Guardians, this was a dream come true!
"It's a pleasure to meet you Harmonia!" He squeaked out, unable to believe someone as important as her was talking to him! "I'm.. I'm Caine, the guy with claws." He grinned, sticking one out as if it were a hand to shake. He'd even unclasped it in an attempt to look a little less weird. He'd seen other pae shake hands all the time, it was something he still tried to do when he could, but hardly anyone ever thought it was a good idea.

 Junior still felt like he was floating as they moved along. The night before had been a dream. No, better than a dream, it was an amazing reality. How on the island could he ever have believed a night like the last had been possible? Nereus had not only agreed to marry him, they'd gone and done it right there! A small ceremony just for the two of them, no one else having been there aside from some very random pae that the singer had brought with them. Something in the back of his mind had told him that was strange, but his mind was more on what he could do for Nereus to make their first day as a married couple so memorable that she'd never be able to forget it.
"My Dearest Wife, how are you?" He asked, worried about her hydration. They'd been... well, busy, after the marriage. He couldn't remember the last time she'd been able to take a nice long swim. Long enough he knew Nereus, his wife!, would need it so very soon if not before he remembered it. "We can get you to a pool or a beach?" He offered, wanting to carry her everywhere. Guardians she looked so beautiful this morning.

That it was a good night for the Fae of Love would have been an understatement. With the arrows effects lasting the night, Tristen had ravaged the golden goddess well into the early morning hours until they collapsed in slumber.
So the first thing that the amber eyed male noticed when he awoke, was no Harmonia at his side. Troubling. Followed by the lack of a certain need for kissing. A relief. But the first overshadowed the second until his eyes fell upon the little white flower. He smiled softly, knowing it to not be an accident. His gorgeous Harmonia left it there for him. The fae swung his feet off from the bed to raise up, grabbing the delicate plant.
With a bit of string, he worked with the frangipani as he walked until it was tied securely to his staff. Perfect. And he could see the pae of his affections down below on the soft sand. When had they docked? He must've slept clean through the landing. He picked up the pace to get to her, but noticed he was not alone in his desire to reach her. A small crowd had gathered, vying for her attention. He grinned ear to ear, not minding sharing for one bit. "A waterfall sounds beautiful!" Tristen spoke cheerfully while grabbing a lei to throw around his head. "And...those are...lovely claws? You look familiar Caine." He spoke with a bit of a tilt to his head.
Nereus had certainly done many things last night that she had never done before. Getting whisked to a dance, getting married, doing bedroom things after the wedding... It was slightly embarrassing to think about, but it was something she knew he wanted, and she loved to make him happy. So while it was certainly not going to be a common thing to do, she'd happily indulge his carnal desires every now and again.
"Well, my handsome husband. I hear there's a beautiful waterfall on this trip." Something scenic and good for her hydration. A win-win.
